R/R: *TW* My best friend told me yesterday that she got a BFP TFAS after the first month. I am so incredibly and deliriously happy for her but I'm honestly trying not to lose it right now. I already had to calm myself down on my way to work because I couldn't help but let a few tears leak out. I finally know how my oldest sister felt when my other sister got a BFP from a first date with a guy and the oldest had been trying for about 9 months. At least she got her BFP only a few days later but it still stings pretty bad. And then I start to think of all of the people I know that have never had to actually try to get pregnant and it really kinda pisses me off. They don't know the struggles and the disappointment when month and month passes by and you still don't get your BFP. I know I'm only coming to the end of my 4th month but I felt like I had nearly perfect timing; and even though I know it's possible to still get a BFP after this BFN (trust me, I was stalking FFs chart gallery yesterday), I feel like this means I'm out for this cycle. Sorry for the long narrative, I just really had to get this all off my chest. *END TW*

Thanks all for the good wishes and vibes yesterday, I truly appreciate all of the support I get from this community.

GTKY: What is/are your best/favorite childhood memories? I would probably just say Christmas in general. My parents never really had a lot of money but they somehow always managed to give me and my siblings such an amazing Christmas year after year. And my family always does the whole big things - the decorations and the music and the presents. It's probably part of the reason why it's my favorite holiday.

GTKY: What is/are your best/favorite childhood memories? Every summer our church/ school had a carnival for a week and it was my favorite part of summer. It was in late August so often it was the first time we would see classmates before school started.

CS/Q: Does everyone else check their FF chart like 18 times a day during TWW like I do? Because I obsessively look at it and try to analyze it. It's bad. Not like it changed since 20 minutes ago when you last looked.

GTKY: What is/are your best/favorite childhood memories? When my brother and I were younger, we did NOT get along well. So during the summer my dad would bike to his work (1 mile away) and I would bike with and go to my friends house in the neighborhood. She and I did the most ridiculous things together (homemade face masks, forts, etc). It was amazing! Needless to say, she was my MOH and now I will be hers. She's a sister to me! So much so that she can walk into our house/use the garage code, and just start talking to my family and no one questions it.

@KHrun17 I actually got a text yesterday telling me I had used 90% of my data this month. It's totally due to TWW FF obsessive disorder and lack of wifi at work. Sometimes I just stare at the chart, like it's miraculously going to say 'You're KU!!!'. That would be cool...

@KhRun17 I check FF several times a day and I also have 2 other apps that I use too - they are pretty much useless but I like using them.

Testing: Negative's all day errrrday.

R/R: I had my beta this morning at the doctor's. It usually takes three or so hours to get the results back. Though I know what they'll be. Just happy to have this awful cycle coming to an end and moving on. Pretty nervous to start injectables, but I'll do whatever it takes.

CS/Q:

GTKY: What is/are your best/favorite childhood memories?
My mother's parent's used to take my sister and I to do a ton of stuff. They were really young (are) grandparents, so it was like having a second set of parent's. They would take us to Vermont all of the time, Disney World, theme parks. My Grandma made extremely good money inthe 90's as a billing executive for a health insurance company, so our Christmases would be extravagant. Their just the kindest, most giving people and they truly made our childhood magical.

ETA: @furbabymom2007 I got my eye on you girl lol

@lulu1180 That's a really tough place to be in regarding your friend. I know you're happy for her, but it's also okay to let yourself cry and feel.

Timing: not great

Testing: I'm trying to hold out until at least 13 DPO. I don't think I'm KU, though.

R/R: I actually got some chafing/soreness in the area of my mouth where I put my thermometer. It's going away, but I must have sensitive skin or something! lol I also hurt my back last night and sitting in a desk chair all day is going to suck. On a better note, it's DH's bday today!

CS/Q: I always see people refer to pretty FF charts lol. What does this mean exactly? I feel like my chart is ugly hahaha. Looking at it, it seems my temps shot up really high, but are now going down steadily. Maybe AF is coming even though I have NO symptoms...of anything (pregnancy or AF).

GTKY: What is/are your best/favorite childhood memories? I love Christmas and sleepovers with my best childhood friend who was a bridesmaid in my wedding.

Testing: Like a total newbie idiot I tested this morning. Stark white, of course. Which is what I expected to be honest. I am doing my best to hold out until next Friday. We shall see.

R/R: Rant. I hate my body right now. First off I understand why you guys talked about TWW dreams so much. I have had two nights of vivid, in depth dreams that I remember. It's crazy! Also I am getting sick apparently and part of that includes feeling very hungry but somewhat nauseated at the same time. What a cruel joke.

CS/Q: nothing today.

GTKY: What is/are your best/favorite childhood memories? Anything that involves camping with my dad as a kid. We traveled all over Michigan. Every summer we would go to a different area and see tons of water falls and camp out. I loved it. I want to do that with my child. My favorite was going to Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes and riding on the jeeps!

@CallaLily25 If you look at @furbabymom2007's chart we say its pretty because all her pre-O temps are below the coverline and then there is a very obvious temp spike when she O'd. Post O her temps continue to stay up which is a good sign (not to jinx you fur mom). Now look at my hot mess of a chart this cycle and my temps are every where, there isn't a temp spike until CD 31 and my post O temps are consistently falling with the exception of CD 41 because I had a glass of wine the night before. Is that helpful?

I did not get a chance to respond to you yesterday but I totally get that the IF boards might be a better fit for you right now. They are lovely ladies over there (I lurk their heavily). I am rooting for you and that hopefully transitioning to injectables will be the thing that does the trick for you.

I recently had a friend of mine (who got KU 1st try) offer to lend me her copy of What to Expect since it had a section on planning that she "wished she would have known about earlier". I kind of just wanted to be like "It could not have happened any sooner than it did, what the hell could you have planned????"

I had some pretty awesome family vacations as a child. Every time I think back to those trips I just remember how excited I was, and it really makes me wish I could go back to those days.

At the cabin, easily. Every good thing that ever happened to me happened at our cabin. When H proposed, he did it at his cabin so I could have memories of good things happening at his cabin too. He's super cute.

CS/Q: Has anyone ever had EWCM continue for a few days after O? I've sometimes had a little bit of it the next morning, but this cycle I've had it for 2 days past what FF says is O. I still have solid CH, though.

GTKY: What is/are your best/favorite childhood memories?
When I was a kid my dad put an ice rink in our backyard every winter and my sisters and I all learned to ice skate on it. It was always super fun.

Thanks for the well wishes guys. I'm out. My beta came back negative. I'll hold off on moving to the WTO until I get AF, but won't be participating in the TWW anymore. It will take a while to get AF after stopping progesterone, so posting in here will kind of be insult to injury! I hope no one follows me over there!!

Newbie here, I posted an intro a few weeks ago (I think... I can't find it) but still been lurking. My iPad dislikes this site so it's always shutting it down, but I want to be here!

Month/Cycle: 3/3

CD/DPO: 23/ 7 or 8

Timing: Not as good as usual. -6, -4, -1

Testing: Not feeling good about this one, probably not till DPO 13

R/R: I'm in a bad cycle of not sleeping well, I wake up nearly every 2 hours and then I'm too tired to workout and then I don't sleep well again. I know it's TWW anxiety! I'm also irrationally paranoid that I'll be doing some HIIT right when implantation might happen and it'll ruin it! I know it's ridiculous!

CS/Q: FF said I O'd cd15 which made sense temp wise but it seems late for me, also it was my first day without ewcm. My other app P tracker said I ovulated cd14 which made sense cause of my opk was positive 36 hrs before and I usually o on 14. So which is it?

GTKY: What is/are your best/favorite childhood memories?
luckily many to choose from: Playing cards in my team tent at swim meets, playing with my dog outside from dawn to dusk, exploring and naming every part of our acreage/farm

My grandparents lived on the beach and we spent summers with them. Crabbing, sailing, catching fish with a drag net. Just thinking about puts me in a happy placs.

R/R: i'm a lot less invested this cycle. haven' t even been thinking much about testing, just so sure it won't be a good month. interestingly i've hardly had any boob tenderness this cycle, whereas the past few it's been pretty severe. i think i'm finally at the point in TTC where i've accepted that pre-AF symptoms = preg symptoms and the BSC just isn't worth my energy. remind me that i said that again in a few days...

CS/Q: rocky road here! maybe i will try temping vaginally next cycle.

GTKY: What is/are your best/favorite childhood memories? just playing outside all the time. parents didn't worry so much about our safety as long as i was with a friend. we went on so many adventures in the neighborhood, played in the dirt, and just didn't have a care in the world.

Our yearly trips to Mammoth were always the best! Hiking, rock climbing, fishing, and time with family. The best!

GTKY: What is/are your best/favorite childhood memories?
Definitely memories of being up at my cabin in Michigan. Running wild around the woods gave me a lot of independence and self confidence from a young age. I really hope I can do the same for my own kids someday.

@mrsegan13 I have to agree with @antoto the group decided a while ago to keep BFP's out of the TWW thread for those ladies that are having a hard TTC day. If you had read through the thread today you would see that there are several women struggling today. This would have been better in the grad thread. Also your still having a line does not equal a chemical, if you had no line then that is another story. Good luck today but please think about others when you post this stuff

@mrsegan13 FWIW, I don't have an issue with you mentioning this in the TWW thread...I don't feel like you're waving a BFP around happily; you're seeking support in a difficult situation. However, I can also understand how that might be tough for someone having a hard day. It's a tough call because since you're having a hard time feeling that you really have a BFP, the grad thread doesn't seem appropriate either. Anyway, I think intention is everything, and I hope I can offer some support. I had a similar situation with my CP. I had three days of positives that weren't getting darker, then two days of negatives before I got my period. FX that's not what's happening in your case. Creepy internet stranger hugs to you, too!

@KhRun17 I absolutely check my FF calendar (I don't even have a chart) obsessively during the TWW. It is total crazy person behavior, but I can't stop...
@EL824 I struggle so much with phantom symptoms or real symptoms that have nothing to do with pregnancy but maybe could if I really use my imagination. The struggle is real. Also, 6 dpo is definitely early. While I won't judge you because I am also a serial early tester, it is still really early so FX this could still be your month.

Testing: Trying to avoid for a few days. I got what could have been a + wondfo yesterday, but could have also just been an evap line. I got a negative FRER this morning. I'm trying to walk away now and wait until this weekend to stop driving myself crazy.

R/R: Just my own testing craziness.

GTKY: What is/are your best/favorite childhood memories?
So many. My parents did an amazing job giving us a magical childhood through lots of family traditions and lots of love. We lost my dad about a year and a half ago and while it has been hard, I am thankful every day for what he gave us growing up. Super sappy answer, but that's the mood I'm in today I guess.
