Had to post and ghost without even answering my own question!

    Month/Cycle: TTA

    CD: 2

WAYDTGKU: PNV, CoQ10, magnesium, B complex, WaterPik, BBT, CM

R/R: DH told me last night that he thinks I need to take iron. It's in my prenatal vitamins already, but I was glad to see him appearing to research something, even if it was more for me bruising and bleeding than TTC. Happy to see today wasn't as bad as CD1. *TMI But I guess I need to get something beyond Super tampons?! Ugh! Last month was so light except for a bloodshed on CD2 that ruined my day at the beach on my honeymoon. */TMI I guess I traded a shorter overall AF cycle in the beginning of August for a 38 day cycle that just ended. :(

    CS/Q: nope

GTKY: What kind of short term disability / maternity leave plans do you have through work or through private companies? (If any)

We can use FMLA plus use sick days that accrue from year to year plus I'm trying to sign up for short term disability that I will pay into monthly. I never used my sick days when I was younger, but lost them when I got laid off FOUR times! (Sometimes the tenure system works against you if you don't have it when there are budget cuts.) I would have tons now, like at least 100... but alas, I have 41. The district controls how much they will let you use and when... and a lot of that depends on when you go out on leave. We have to return at the beginning of marking periods. DH actually knows this part of my contract better than I do! We will see if it changes with the next one.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

  • @busymommy23 I usually count anything before I go to sleep as PM that "day" I'm finishing, even if it happens to be past midnight. So say we were to BD tonight at 12:15am, I would count that as PM on the 14th. Not sure if that's how you're supposed to do it, but I figure I'm okay as long as I'm consistent with how I record it.

  • @busymommy23 I personally mark using AM and PM because I love me some details. I also had the conundrum of what day to mark when late BDing occurs. I finally decided I'm still awake so I count it as the day I just finished (like I would count BDing tonight after midnight as 9/14) and (just me again) would make a note about the lateness so I can really nerd out later when I'm analyzing at my chart.
  • @Nelbetron @leekat14 I don't know mine either

    @MommytoM13 good luck tomorrow!

@mrs35 I'm hoping it'll happen on a break too so I can those extra days!

    @PolarBear517  @CrystalPDX  hi cycle twins!

@haylsbayls yay for your honeymoon!! Have so much fun!

  • @NYTino24 I used to need more than super plus too. Then I started using a menstrual cup instead. Life changing!

  • @NamelessAria sending you ALL the hugs and good vibes. I am sorry you are having to consider alternatives of what your life might look like. Have you looked at opportunities for adoption? I know it isn't quite the same and can be an equally difficult journey....wishing you all the best this cycle. <3

  • @bumpybump I've never been and am super excited! We wanted to do Phuket, I heard it's amazing, but it's rainy season right now so we are doing Koh Samui as our beach time. I am fully prepared for the jet lag on both ends!

@purplg8r  Thank you!! Sorry about your flat tire!

@MrsDorkCharming  yay Thailand! We are doing Bangkok (for a day on either end), Chiang Mai, Koh Samui, and Koh Phagnam. Not looking forward to the 25 hours of travel on Friday though, but I'm sure it's completely worth it once we arrive :)

  • Baaahh I'm so late, such a long day today
    Month/Cycle:  3/3

    CD:  18

WAYDTGKU:  temping, tracking CM, opks, etc

R/R: not TTGP related but I just had such a long busy day at work. By the time I left I felt like my brain was going to start oozing out of my ears. And then I got home and my husband cooked and it smelled so good! I love that man :)  (not looking forward to another long day tomorrow- why did I take an extra shift again?)

CS/Q:  hoping for one more elevated temp tomorrow so i can get some crosshairs!!

GTKY: What kind of short term disability / maternity leave plans do you have through work or through private companies? Not too much, unfortunately. I can stack my vacation weeks together and make some kind of creative "elective" situation happen for about a month but that's it.  Work-wise, the hospital allows for more time but if I were to do that I would have to stay and give that extra time back to my program in order to satisfy the ACGME (accreditation council of graduate medical education) requirements. Now that H has a job though, we should be able to save up enough for me to have at least a month off before starting whatever new job I land after my residency is over in June. So if I were lucky/blessed enough to get KU this cycle, it could actually work out really well.

Not quite able to respond to everyone today but hugs to you all!

  • @BitterBetty12 It's a maddening thing, anxiety. It's so hard sometimes to distinguish between excitement, fear, anticipation, and sadness - anxiety just mixes them all up. I truly hope you find some peace soon and can sort out what's can help. I'm truly sorry, anxiety is a bitch.

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD: 6

WAYDTGKU: PNV, BBT, CM/CP, OPKs, FF, exercise, green tea

R/R: Too tired today, it hasn't been my week.
(Imagine I put a funny photo here bc I fail and can't make it work)

CS/Q: I just got Wondfo OPKs and I'm wondering how you ladies chart it in FF? Do you mark it under the basic OPK as (-)(+), or Advanced OPK and give it a grad (low, high, peak)?

GTKY: Oh man, not even considering this yet. I like to plan but that gives me certain anxiety that I have zero control over right now (new job, probationary period, blah blah blah). I don't want to stress over something that isn't at the top of the list right now.
  • @Mrs.V16  I've been thinking the same thing about maybe being able to still work from home a bit after having a baby. Like, how much time can taking care of a baby really take? But I'm sure I'm also being way too optimistic lol.

@NamelessAria  During the past few months (while I was taking my break from the bump) I worked on bringing myself to terms with the idea of not ever getting pregnant and having my own baby (especially since I don't want to do much in terms of fertility treatments). I have gotten to that point (though I do still have some hope, of course, since I'm here) and what helped me the most, personally, was prayer and Bible study, so I recommend that if you are part of a religion that does that. Also, have you looked at adoption? That's what I'm leaning toward if having our own doesn't work out for us (though getting H on board with it is a different story).
  • @britters314 you are definitely underestimating how much time a baby takes to care for.  I'll just leave it at that :)

R/R:   I watched the Rob Lowe roast...OMG! How did I forget how hot he was/is?!?!

GTKY:    My company offers 12 weeks paid leave, but my division is in the process of spinning off so I pretty much KNOW that will be changing. Super sad! Just when I get into a big place that offers PAID leave, it's ending. BOOOOO

  • @NamelessAria

re: the GTKY bye guys I'm packing up and moving to California or Canada.
Depends on your job/employer  in Canada. I don't know anyone that gets 80%. Im Canadian and personally get 4 months unpaid.
