What did you do with your kiddo(s) this week? Any challenges? Milestones?
Both of my kids started a new school. DS is in Kindergarten now (!) and DD is at a preschool that is part of a real school rather than just a daycare. They're growing up!
My oldest had his first soccer game of the season. He scored 4 goals, and was SO proud. My youngest started her dance class on Monday. So cute in her little tu-tu. I love how their schedule keeps me so busy. I hardly think about being pregnant, and time is flying!
My oldest turns 6 today!! Crazy to look back and see how much she's grown up and reminiscing about her birth today! And my 2nd child is 3 now, and he has definitely grown up now that he is no longer in school with his big sis. Can't wait to see how #3 plays in with my kooky kids!
DS is 13 months and we are trying to wean from the bottle. For the last month or so, he has been teething and this round was pretty bad as he had two bottoms and two tops coming in at the same time to give a total of 8 teeth. "They" say not to change anything during a phase like this. Trouble is, his teeth have been coming in pairs but now one of the top ones that were coming in is being stubborn. Ugh! Why is this process so painful?! Anyways, that's my looooong post about attempting to wean from the bottle. Lol
oh, DS is really starting to mimic words more and putting short sentences together. That's super exciting.
DS is 3 and in the full throws of being a threenager! I find I have a lot less patience with him and then I feel guilty. I've also been so sick that I haven't really been doing as much with him as I would like. Thank God for Peppa Pig

Transitioned DS from two short naps to one long one and an earlier bedtime. DH and I do not know what to do with ourselves with an extra 1-1.5hr in the evenings! Now he is soaking his pjs and bed every night though and waking up a mess
Ds1 is 8 years old and started a new school due to us moving two months ago. He is struggling with his reading and his self esteem. He puts him self down a lot and is really hard on himself. I hate seeing him struggle! We read together everynight and he is only in third grade but I'm scared of him getting behind. Ds2 is 2 years old and we just switched him from his crib to a regular size twin bed. So far so good! Hoping it stays going smooth because I need all the sleep I can get at the moment. I'm exhausted.
@louise.belcher maybe try putting him in a diaper a size up from his daytime one for night? Gotta love the early bedtimes of toddlers! @SaVi925 sorry, that sounds really rough. It is great that you are able to read with him so often, I'm sure that will help him a lot! @mrsrep123 My kiddos have both been taking FOREVER with teething! 2.5 yr old has 10 teeth, and 11mo old just got her first tooth breaking through yesterday! We call teething baby PMS
I think trying to potty train my 9yo who has autism. The goal is to have him PT by the time the baby is here. Also dealing with a tween! My daughter started her period right after we came from Ohio. Boy i hope it gets better. She is a very hormonal 12yo girl who btw is driving me crazzzy lol.
DD is 3 and DS is about 14 months. We tried connecting with our local Hike it Baby group, but we went to the wrong trailhead! We tried to go for a walk anyway but the trail we were on was way too challenging. So... Next time... I need a nap and both littles will not nap or leave me alone. The tv is about to go on...

Everything has been about the same with my littles, DS was showing some regression with his signs that had us a little concerned but all of a sudden last night he started signing "all done" again. That in itself was a sigh of relief. He is a man of few words but we are starting to thing that twin sister is doing for him to where he isn't putting in the effort.

@SaVi925 I'm so sorry. Moving last year was really hard on our 5 yr old in terms of school and social situations as well.
We're hunting for a new daycare. I don't love where we've got our 13 month old, and I know if I don't get a waitlist somewhere soon for the newest munchkin, we're in trouble. He's also been very clingy with me, which is hard because I'm so dang emotional. He cries, I cry. It's a vicious circle and I end up going to work looking like a lost member of KISS.
DD1 started dance class last night. She is doing acro and is very excited (and very sore haha). DS is back at preschool and pretty soon DD2 will be at her speech therapy group once a week. I love when they all have group activities to keep them socially active. Not telling any of them that we are expecting until I feel more confident that this won't end in another c/p so that's been hard.
Random side note: I urge all of you to babywear if you aren't already. I didn't until DD2 and I wish I'd had one with all three, it makes life so much easier.

DD just turned two and for awhile I was looking into having her do preschool to get more social exposure with kids her own age. She gets terrified easily when other little ones approach her. Now that the fatigue has started I'm kind of like... yeah why didn't I do it already and I could just go home and nap. =P We have been living here for only a couple months so far so we've been checking out mom meetups occassionally and just trying out some places for DD to play at.
This week our local library started up story time, and also has a play date day. So we are going to start hitting those up. I am doing home preschool with DS. I have a small group of 3 yr olds that come on Wednesdays for a group day, then we all work through the same curriculum the rest of the week. DD is 14 months and hasn't used any words at all yet. She is just started to wave hi/bye a few weeks ago. I worry about her way more than DH. I want to have her evaluated, but DH is stubborn about her being fine. I feel like he blames me for not talking to her enough, even though I make the effort to talk to her and repeat the simple words over and over for her to catch on way more than I did for DS. @pshaortao mom meet ups are great for helping littles learn to play together and be friends. DS was the same way until I made the effort for him to be around other kids 4-5 days a week. He loves when kids come to play with him at the park now.
Our school is Pre-K through 12th grade so my 3 year old started preschool this week. I love it. He gets picked up by the bus, they get free breakfast, and I'm saving sooooo much money on daycare! It's nice to know that #3 won't actually affect our budget because pre-K is funded. My 18 month old had a fever and was throwing up last night. Smelling puke makes me puke, so I guess you could say I had ,y first pregnancy puke last night. She also wanted to nurse all.night.long. Luckily DH stepped in a rocked and cuddled her for an hour and a half so I got some sleep! DH said she's doing much better and he brought her in to work this afternoon. So hopefully I get a decent night's sleep. Although she's only STTN once in her whole life,

Oh man. My 14 month old is similar... Still has never slept more that 4.5 hours and seems like weaning is never happening,.. My first was similar until just about 20 months. I sort of miss all the naps and better sleep that was more often available with the first pregnancy.

I could have written this word for word!
I just have to say, your screen name may be my favorite ever.
