I think maybe we should include a description about what some of these posts are. For example: how flame free friday confessions do not mean that others may not agree with what you say nor that you will not be flamed if you show your ass. Just as an example, I'm sure there are other boards that could use descriptions.
HELP! I'm not usually tech challenged, but I can't seem to get a ticker to show up in my signature the correct way? I have tried everything...if it's easy and I am being dumb, can I blame it on pregnancy brain?
@elgie There was a really great instructions by @TheJerilu in the comments of the original thread of this that we had to let die out. It has something to do with the <\> button... Let me see if I can find it.
@elgie Copy and pasted from the original thread.. Toggle HTML View is the "</>" looking symbol at the top of the box.
"If y'all are on mobile, I'm not sure (I Bump on the desktop). If you're on a computer, I've had luck by clicking the "Toggle HTML View" button and pasting the HTML directly in there (you can de-click the button once it's pasted and you should be able to preview it before saving).
Once you've got the right type of link, get to your signature settings, Toggle HTML View, and paste it. Toggle back to view your masterpiece.
Important to note! Be sure to copy and paste it directly into the HTML View. If you paste it into the normal view before opening HTML view, it'll automatically (but secretly) convert your triangle brackets into a substitute because it is assuming you wanted that in plaintext, not code, so it changes < and > into < and > which are HTML for the bracket symbol without performing the HTML code."
