Thanks ladies! They sent me home and told me to take it easy for the next 9 days. They thankfully weren't in any pattern and weren't changing my cervix so they figured there was no point in doing much since I'm right on the border of stopping labour or not.

I have been leaking a clear and now light brown odorless fluid for the past two days. It gushes when i stand, or lie down at random intervals. Not a ton, but enough that I feel it like when its your period. I think it's probably fine but gonna call the Dr after I dry my hair. Will update just in case others experience the same!
Ladies, if crankiness and random crying were to signal the beginning signs of labor, I must be getting ready to go soon! I'm so cranky right now I think I need a nap!
@annabenanna thanks! And thanks to everyone else too! I think all is well today. I've been trying to be as lazy as possible with my other kids, just 8 more days and it no longer matters! I've done good this time, I had preterm labour with my second at 28 weeks and that wasn't good at all, so having it happen at almost 35 weeks wasn't too terrible compared to last time!

It's not amniotic fluid yay! I am 1cm, 80% effaced at -1 station, so baby is just low. (She told me 70% and -2 four days ago). I'm gonna go get a slushie and run errands haha.
I swear my contractions are psychosomatic. I had contractions all last Tuesday when I was supposed to work Tuesday night--and called out of work on the advice of my OB. I work at a large hospital, but it's not the one where we plan to deliver and it's 25-30 minutes away from home and 45 minutes away from the hospital where we want to deliver--so I didn't want to get stuck there if my water broke. Last Tuesday I had thirteen hours of pretty regular (albeit mild) contractions and then nothing. Zilch. Nada. Bupkis.
Now I'm supposed to work tonight (Tuesday again!), and I had cramping, loose stool, backache, and more moderate contractions all day yesterday. They stopped sometime during the night, but now I'm terrified to go to work again, but I can't call out again because it's starting to look bad. So now I have to go and pray it doesn't turn into the real thing.
ARGH. I just wish this stupid baby would either come or NOT come. I don't care which, but enough of this false labor crap.
@von1976 How funny! Your body just doesn't want you to work anymore haha. I get sick often and always feel so bad calling off so I know how that feels, but don't suffer through a long shift!
@von1976 I hear ya! These BH have been crazyyyyyy. When I told my OB about them he said "yeah, we hope that they stay away until you're in labor and it's the real thing but often times your body is somewhere in the middle". Blegh!
@von1976 Good luck at work tonight! I mean, worst case is you do go into labor and have to leave and have a little baby.
My braxton hicks have also been crazy. I didn't have noticeable ones when I was pregnant with DS, but I get them a ton now. My doc wasn't concerned, and just gave me the whole "drink some water and rest" spiel. I wouldn't have been mad if she'd said I needed to work from home or something. But, I just sit at a desk all day, so it's hardly strenuous.
TMI Post -- Just got home from L&D a little while ago because I thought my water broke but apparently mucousy discharge can get very watery at the end. I've been having contractions on and off and of course none while I was there! I'm 3cm dilated and 20% effaced so I'm praying it happens soon! I was 37 weeks yesterday so it's not that far off either way!! Dr is inducing me at 39 weeks if the little guy isn't here anyways!
I am so tired of wondering if I'm going into labor that I am just going to ignore it. I'll probably end up having this baby in my recliner now because I am so over the "is this it??" feeling.
@MrsB627 ooh!! So exciting! I went to the dr today and was a little bummed she said I wasn't dilated at all. 50% effaced but baby's head is in my hip so he hasn't dropped yet. I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow.

I'm excited for you in 8 days @Schell2013! Enjoy your prescribed lazy days!
Congrats to all the new moms, thinking of everyone starting the early stages!
Glad it wasn't fluid @OrangeEv! I hope that slushy was everything you hoped it would be
