It's Friday and it's time for your flame-free Friday confessions!* #sorrynotsorry
*flame-free not guaranteed
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
So I was just looking for something in my purse and ran across an OPK that I had used then stashed in there so that I didn't throw it away where someone could see it. I had intended to toss it when I got to OH's hotel last night but totally spaced. It's still stashed safely in the wrapper, but dudes, I peed on that. TTC makes you do gross shit.

My FFFC is that I feel like a posting wh*** since I'm stuck in nowhere land waiting for AF.
I'm on CD 34 and should be playing an all day softball tournament when she arrives! We were all set to start TTC next cycle and got delayed another month since the short term disability insurance guy didn't get back to me in time to start deductions this month. We need 10 months of payments before giving birth to collect for pregnancy disability. So I'm just here, cheering the team on from the sidelines for another month wanting to play!

I just spent $100 on coffee related things. I got a cold brewer because cold brew is less acidic and less likely to end up causing a flare after a couple of days. I got a giant thing of Pumpkin Spice syrup from Starbucks because I miss my Pumpkin Spice Lattes so much and I got a giant bag of low-acid coffee beans.
Backstory on my splurge: I finally got my Interstitial Cystitis to a point where I can have 1 cup of weak, low acid coffee in the morning without a major flare. I haven't been able to have coffee of any kind in any amount for several years. I got really super excited over this and went a little crazy.

It might be time to reevaluate your work life balance when the alert for the passenger seat belt being unbuckled starts sounding in your car because of all the "work" you piled in it.
Apparently my H didn't sleep well last night and left our room at 11 and slept on the couch. I had the best night of sleep I'd had in ages and didn't even notice. But I pretended I did and said that I had missed him. (I didn't)
My FFFC is that I literally just learned how to use the individual board search function. I've been using the general community search FOREVER and it has annoyed me.
Oh well. At least I've never done drive by or peed on a stick and showed you ladies.
@Mrs_Jp On the flip side of your FFFC, this is my second week at my new job and my boss had to be out of town all week. I'm pretty sure I have Bumped just about as much as I have worked. It totally counts as long as everything on my to-do list got done right?
I found out today that DHs friend is sleeping over tonight. Instead of changing the sheets I just changed the pillow cases in the guest bedroom because yea I'm that lazy.
@saralee797 totally guilty of that too!! Actually the last time MHs best friend came up, I knew they would be getting way drunk so I decided he wouldn't care if the sheets were clean... So I didn't change them. I intended to change the pillow cases so I washed the ones that matches the sheets and totally forgot to put them on... So he slept on a pillow without a case. And didn't even notice. Sorry not sorry
@ShadeofGreen816 I just LOLd at that. Honestly guys probably don't even notice so why am I stressing over pillow cases anyway? He actually asked my DH and his friend for a couch. He's getting a bed so he should be be happy right?
P.S. Currently watching Me Before You drinking wine and loving life #basicbitch #sorrynotsorry
I feel ya @tripledaggerWed95976. I always have good intentions but I'm a TERRIBLE laundry doer (aware that's not a word). If I ever became ultra rich, a laundry service might be the first thing I spend money on. But they'd have to come put it away because that's the part I struggle with the most!
@tripledaggerWed95976 I am right there with you, a coworker said she washes her sheets every week, I just don't understand why that often!?!...I apparently am a dirtball compared to that. Can't care...
My confession is, although I love my in laws, it drives me insane how often we see them and how MH tells them everything! He is an only child so I understand why they are so close but we eat dinner with them every Monday night and typically see them on at least evening of the weekend too! This week we saw them Monday, tonight, and we are now having dinner with them tomorrow night. And...when I offered to bring something they just say no, we don't eat that, like its some unwritten community rule I don't know about
I once subletted an apt that came with a house keeper once a week, and she washed my sheets every single week, and I cannot tell you how lovely it was. Now that it's up to DH and I to wash.... lucky if it's every 3 months. But I try not to go longer than that because we've literally ruined sheets by going too long without changing them. Like, permanently stained with body soil. Ew.

@BusinessWife yessssss girl DH thinks I'm nuts but especially on a Sunday when you are SO tired from being a weekend warrior there is nothing better. I'm work hard play harder. Totally the little things in life that get me
@BusinessWife YESSSSSS! Just showed this to my husband because he thinks I'm insane that I make us all shower before bed regardless of any other showers from that day. You must present yourself perfectly for our clean sheets!
Haha I've refused to let dh in bed without showering on clean sheets day... Glad I'm not the only one!!!
