I had my first appointment this morning. I should be 8 weeks 3 days but the baby measured right at 6 weeks. I know the exact date we conceived so I know its not possible that my dates are off and we're only 6 weeks so I'm pretty worried. The baby did have a strong heartbeat so my Dr told me to stay hopeful and I will go in for another ultrasound next week. I'm not ready for another loss so I really hope the measurement was just off!
Ultrasound on Thursday. Yay! I'm excited to see this little peanut and have it feel more real. On my first appointment my doctor was so friendly and said oh my you're ready to do this all over again huh? and I said not when you put it like that! It just hasn't seemed real yet so I'm happy to see the baby hear the heartbeat and get excited for number 2.
I have my dating ultrasound on Friday. I can't wait and I'm also super nervous. I'm having plenty of symptoms so I would like to think things are going well. I just know some women still have symptoms and there are still problems.
After my ultrasound, I will see my doctor for a pelvic exam and all that fun stuff.
I have my first appointment on Thursday. I'm beyond excited, but also nervous. Thankfully H is getting off work early to go with me. Pelvic exam, breast exam, ultrasound, and going over the results of the 9 vials of blood I had to give them last week, all in 40 mins.
I had an OB appointment today. The results from my last appointment's blood work showed I have bacterial vaginosis so I have to start antibiotics in two weeks after my first trimester screening with my MFM. I gave birth to my son last year at 25+6 weeks so this has me on edge because I don't know that I could emotionally handle another premature birth. After being taken off daily Lovenox injections because it may have played a role in my preterm labor, I was feeling a bit more optimistic and then this just kinda has me right back to being anxious again.
kristine!
me: 33, Factor V Leiden, MTHFR + hubs: 37 BFP #1: 9/25/14 -- EDD: 6/4/15 Jesse, our baby boy: 2/25/15 @ 25.6 weeks, 2lbs 2oz & 13.5 inches. spent 66 days in the NICU. BFP #2: 7/29/16 -- EDD: 3/30/17
I had a follow up ultrasound today because at my first appointment I didn't know how far along I was, and it turned out i was only 4 weeks. So they had me in to check for a heartbeat today and all went well. My little blob is measuring 6+5 so right on track and we saw a good little heartbeat : ) He said he will do another US at my next apt to check heartbeat again since 6+5 is still early.
Had my appointment today, baby is measuring right where I thought. We saw the heartbeat but weren't told what the heart rate was. So excited to finally see 'the blob' as we're now calling it! Next appointment is at the end of the month for 10 weeks.
Have my 2nd appointment today! Super excited as I'm 11 weeks pretty much now so I'll definitely hear her heart rate! Can't wait. But hopefully I can drink enough before hand that I can actually pee this time...
Had an appointment yesterday, doc says we're further along than we thought and moved our EDD from 4/11 to 4/6! So much fun seeing our gummy bear wiggling around
Well, my appointment was so awful I've been stressing out all day to the point of not feeling well and am switching care providers. And I'm generally the person that will make a million excuses for people who have done me wrong. So horrible.
@schef070911@STM2017 Thanks! It's ridiculously hard to get in with the midwives I hear but I'm hoping they have space! Apparently it can happen it's just luck of the draw. I've left a message but they're closed Fridays so I have to wait til Monday to hear.
And yes,@STM2017 it's the same one as my last LO. He's our primary care physician too and he's been adequate enough but not very personal and his wait times are getting RIDICULOUS. I had to wait 2 hours today for my scheduled appointment with my 14 month old in tow, only to be weighed and have my blood pressure taken and to be sent on my way being told that we didn't need to listen to the heartbeat. I can take my own weight and blood pressure, thanks, how bout you actually check my baby. So upset.
Re: Weekly Appointments 9/5
We have our first appointment today, and I'm not sure what to expect. I know we'll hear the heartbeat, but I got nothing else other than that.
