What size is baby? A pumpkin. Judging by the reduced movement, she is running out of room. And it is more uncomfortable for me when she does move.
Upcoming appointments? I go on Monday and I will get a my membranes stripped. It worked last time so I am completely expecting it to work this time. I hope I am not setting myself up for disappointment...
Rants/Raves/Questions? At my appointment yesterday the doctor predicted that she will see me this weekend and that she doesn't think I will make it to my next appointment. We'll see...
My husband has been battling a stomach bug this week. He was up half the night abusing the toilet. Poor thing looked so out of it this morning - he said it was mostly lack of sleep. I hope he gets better before baby comes. And I hope he doesn't pass his bug to me or DS.
Symptoms? Not too much - just the normal late pregnancy discomfort. The baby's head is right against my cervix so that can be very uncomfortable at times.
GTKY: What are you most looking forward to about Fall? Not being pregnant. Having a baby. And being on maternity leave.
What size is baby? Pumpkin
Upcoming appointments? No more appointments! BP went up on Monday, so I'm getting induced at midnight!
Rants/Raves/Questions? Really wondering how long it will take. Last time, it was 17 hours! I'm hopeful it won't be as long the second time around. I was 4cm & 80% Tuesday.
Symptoms? So uncomfortable. The pelvic pressure, lightning crotch, and weird shooting pains down my leg. Contractions ALL THE TIME. I am so done!
GTKY: What are you most looking forward to about Fall? I love fall! I've already started getting my decorations out. I'm excited about pumpkin everything, football, boots and scarves! Oh and a new baby

Upcoming appointments? We go next week for DD's 2 week check up. My PP appt is 9/30.
Rants/Raves/Questions? All the raves about my LO. She's so darn cute and she's a pretty easy going baby so far. I'm tired, but she does pretty well at night. I'm hoping to get a nap in today.
Symptoms? TIRED. Dealing with some PP anxiety but it seems to be getting better with each passing day. Overall I'm feeling pretty good. My delivery was easy with no stitches so physically I'm almost back to feeling normal aside from some minimal soreness.
GTKY: What are you most looking forward to about Fall? Pumpkin everything and cooler weather. Fall is my favorite.

What size is baby?
Who knows for sure !! Appointment yesterday said I was measuring 2-3 weeks behind and have been this way for awhile so they freaked me out (saying IUGR or low fluid) and sent me for an ultrasound at the hospital (abnormal?) where they said that he is 7lbs 13oz and perfectly fine. I'm not convinced he is truly that big but we will be seeing soon! No dilation as of yesterday but thinned and very very low.
Upcoming appointments?
One more scheduled on Tuesday for the 40 week/ pre-op, if we make it ofcourse. Planning to do a lot of walking this weekend for an Arts & Crafts festival that really rings in the new fall season for me and my husband as we have gone every year for 8 years. I hope my baby can wait until after we get my fried pickles.
Rants/Raves/Questions?
Rant: Yesterday with my doctor's appointments were truly way more stressful than necessary due to the lack of nurses/midwives' attention to detail, took me 6 hours for my regular appointment and ultrasound. So frustrating. Also. I hate cervical exams, I know I have said this before. Come to find out though the midwife yesterday said maybe the main reason for this is because the baby is so low that his head is in the way of checking my cervix.. that she is reaching behind his head to check dilation.. CRAZY. I have never heard such a thing, or felt so much pressure as those couple minutes of torture.
Symptoms?
Tons of pelvic pressure and swelling in that region due to the weight of baby and his heads position ! Can't sit or stand for more than 15-30 minutes without feeling crazy fidgety. Tried to sit and watch tv with my husband last night and absolutely couldn't. I ended up standing up behind the couch leaning against the wall.
GTKY: What are you most looking forward to about Fall?
The festivals and fairs that we always attend really make Fall for me and my husband. We normally participate in our family's annual labor day dove shoot but were unable to since the jarring would have been too much for my body. That was truly a bummer. Hoping that we can at least do the other activities coming up before baby or with him depending on when he comes. Definitely love Halloween festivities & Thanksgiving also, half way can't believe that we will be our own "family" this year !
What size is baby? He was 7lbs14oz at his weight check appt last Friday. He's eating like a champ so I'm guessing he's well surpassed his birth weight (8lbs1oz) by now!
Upcoming appointments? Tuesday for his 2-week checkup. Also taking DD so she can get a flu shot. Poor kid - this will be her first time getting a shot where she's old enough to remember and be scared. I hope she's not too traumatized...
Rants/Raves/Questions? DS is SUCH a good baby! Even his fussy times and his worst nights thus far have been tame in comparison to how things were with DD. I love this boy so much!
Symptoms? Feeling great, physically! Recovery has been much quicker/smoother the second time around. I am dealing with some PP anxiety but am on track to manage it (since I desperately do not want to repeat the PPD I suffered from with DD).
GTKY: What are you most looking forward to about Fall? I can't wait to go on family outings with both kids. The apple orchard, the pumpkin patch, etc are all memories in the making!

@marajay6 Only a few more days for you! If baby doesn't make any moves this weekend, I hope getting your membranes stripped is as successful as it was with your son! Good luck and keep us posted!

Symptoms?
Seriously had the drive from hell back from my BIL's wedding. 4 hour drive and started having contractions an hour in! We frantically drove home just to have contractions stop shortly before getting to the hospital!
I'm glad baby gets to cook longer but that was miserable.

What size is baby? huge...growth scan estimated about 9 pounds today
Upcoming appointments? Tuesday- another NST and follow up regarding her size and our options
Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm pretty upset at how our OB office handled today's appointment. They made it seem like we would be terrible parents making a terrible choice if we didn't go the elective c section route- which brought me to tears. I went home and looked up both the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology's and the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology's guidelines for cases like ours and neither recommend elective c section! (Our situation being that we were monitored for fetal size via ultrasound because of an increased risk of shoulder dystocia due to my high BMI) On top of that my size and weight are huge triggers for my anxiety and I am projecting some of those feelings onto my baby. I don't want that for her or me. So, now I'm trying to find the best way to process my feelings and come out the other side with a more rational view of things.
Symptoms? lots of pressure and movement, and my good friend heartburn is still right there
GTKY: What are you most looking forward to about Fall? Wearing long sleeves and not sweating as much!
