@LuND I totally agree " I just have to believe everything happens for a reason" but sometimes the TTC roller coaster gets to me. Thanks for the reminder!
@LuND i'm sorry you guys are struggling with that. H and I did just 4 days of ED last cycle and I ended up just regretting it. I feel like the semen is less potent, both of us are less likely to enjoy ourselves, etc. I think this month we are just going to do EOD and call it good.
@zwink1 So technically you dream every single night, probably several times. Sometimes you remember it and sometimes you don't. Your temp might be a tiny bit more affected depending on what sleep stage you are in when you wake up, but I doubt it would be significant.

Last night, DH was like "well, it's your fault we started too early". I responded with "I don't get a MEMO when I'm about to O... I'm doing the best I can". Not pretty. Ooooooh I woulda strangled him! You should totally draft a fake memo that says "I'm working my ass off every day to track my cycle. You need to perform 5 days out of the month. Get your shit together."
My DH hasn't complained about anything yet, it's just me over here freaking out lol. He's also more casual about TTC because he's not concerned about when we get KU and give birth. Mommy to a super cute havanesse puppy and baby boy!
@LuND - yeah, he got some silent treatment for a while. And I had offered to help him at work that evening, so we went over there and he asked me to do something, I gave him a snide "sure" and he asked if I can also get out of my mood and I said "nope" and walked away to do what he asked. Lol. Mean, maybe? But I was so not having it.
And I'm not super jealous of NoDak (I had a guess from your username). My SIL is from Devils Lake, and bro/SIL went to school at UND, so we've spent our fair share of time in the state for various things. So not ready to think about winter!
GTKY: What is your favorite thing about the Fall? Nothing. It means summer is over and winter is coming. I guess if I had to say SOMETHING positive, I'd say that TV shows come back from hiatus.
@linzrunz woah, that is a big difference in temps. Hope your meeting goes well today and I can't wait to hear about your appointment tomorrow!
@furbabymom2007 Keep us updated on what happens with your bloodwork--I really hope you get to do the IUI! Also-my doc said he will have me trigger at night and then come the second day after. I've also been a little concerned about the timing, because I've seen many people that do the IUI the next day.

GTKY: What is your favorite thing about the Fall? I have definitely answered this question two times within the last week, but my answer is the same: visiting the apple orchard to get fresh apple cider donuts and fresh apple pie with cheddar cheese on top.
zwink1 oh man, I am so with you. DH was on the baby train long before I did, and at first he wanted to continue to prioritize reading and watching TV and playing videogames and scrolling through his endless twitter feed over BDing every night, and I was like NO THIS ENDS NOW, WE DO BD FIRST BEFORE ALL OTHER THINGS. Because it is impossible to make it a good experience when we're both so exhausted we just want to sleep. Thankfully he's amenable to this.
@antoto Summers up here are AMAZING! You must be right around the Keweenaw peninsula then, huh? (the thumb)
@KhRun17 yep! Not sure if you have heard of the Huron Mountain Club? But that's where it is. I'm visiting the first weekend in October and I'm soooooo excited to see colors in the leaves.
@LuND You're not alone! H has the same problem when he's under pressure to perform. He can get it up but can't finish the job. It's definitely not you. A few days after I ovulated last cycle H was trying to have sex and I said "I thought you were done with sex for a while" and he said "No, it's just the baby making sex I can't deal with." Good job trying to spice it up in the shower though! Another funny conversation we had the day after I ovulated: I said "Want to have sex?" H goes "Get that thing away from me."
@zwink1 I understand your frustrations with your husband. I had a meltdown a couple months ago for the same reason.
@KhRun17 OMG my husband does the same thing with needing an exact date of O! I'm like "I don't know when, I just have a general idea!" and he gets so pissy about it! Sorry I'm not a goddamn clock!

Ok that makes me feel better! And, same for my H, he got it up and kept it up, just couldn't finish the job. In all fairness, it was right after I turned an OPK for the first time and had told him all about it, so I think that this was the first time it was at the forefront of his mind while BDing.
LOL, I have a feeling my DH will say the same thing after FW
@deadasthatsquirrel How annoying! People can be so single-track minded, I swear. I'm curious if your sister is rolling her eyes at the situation as well?

WAYDTGKU: Waiting for now
R/R:***TW: pregnancy mentioned*** So a longtime friend of mine, whom I call Muffin (neither of us recall why that started), came by for a visit last night since they're about to move to CA in a few days and informed me that his wife is pregnant. I can't say I was entirely surprised since they made it obvious their big trip to NZ was like a pre-babymoon, but I think it gutted me a little bit because 1. I knew AF was imminent and 2. his lead into the tropic was "Guess what? We beat you guys; she's pregnant". Real tasteful. I guess that's what I get for expecting class from a guy named Muffin. On the other hand, he did mention that they've been trying for over a year (she's about 24, I think) and that she already suffered two chemical pregnancies and this one is only about 6 weeks along. So I'm happy that it seems to be working out for them and I know they're excited and will make good parents. So I don't know why I felt a little bummed; probably because I'm a selfish mofo. Ugh. Moving on!
CS/Q: Nothing for now
GTKY: What is your favorite thing about the Fall? Well, since fall in AK consists primarily of rain it certainly isn't the weather. I would say the fact that I get to look forward to the upcoming holidays!

R/R: We spent the weekend away with OH's sister and BIL, who I really like. It was lovely, and DSS was in heaven. At dinner the other night, OH's sister was talking about their mom making plans to find an AirB&B near their place (which is about 2 hours from us) so that she can nanny when his sister goes back to work after having her first baby. OH's mom lives across the country and made no such offer to us. She doesn't know we're TTC, so we're wondering if his sister and BIL are talking about it or even already doing it. We agreed we'll both be pissy if she gets KU before I do. She's not even 30. Yep, we're mature.
I'm excited for two things today. First, I get to go to acupuncture, which I've been looking forward to since I made the appointment almost 2 weeks ago. FX that this practice is full of baby whisperers like our local magazine has said. Second, tonight I'm heading to see OH for a conjugal visit...and I just turned an OPK for only like the second time since we started TTC. Guess it really does pay to POAS at work!! CS/Q: Nope

@Sirius37 Dang I'm really happy for your friend's wife. Over a year of TTC and two chemical pregnancies? That's so sad, she must have been really suffering. It's great that she is pregnant now.
@avidvertigo sorry about CD1 @bumpybump a 7pm dinner would be a non-starter for us! schedules are so important and we are melt down central if we start eating later than 6:15. We refer to it as our "paperwork" & still refer to NYE as the day of our Wedding.

But then I had ewcm again this afternoon...so maybe I haven't even O'd yet? blah.

@antoto Absolutely, I think it must have been incredibly sad and I really am stoked for them both, honestly. I think I'm just harboring some grudge against her since she had a tendency to invite herself into some very personal matters between my ex and I, and made sure to transfer that over to now DH and I (so we don't talk much anymore). I realize it has nothing to do with her pregnancy and it doesn't make sense and I need to just cool my jets and focus on myself. Man, this personal-growth stuff is exhausting.
R/R: H and I are having similar experiences with the performance anxiety, although this month seems to be a bit better than last. I think breaking out the lingerie helped lol. Also, yesterday I was getting things going and he goes "wait, are you ovulating today?" and when I said probably not, then he wanted to know why we were doing it. @BoshnJonnie Your poor boob! I’ve had that happen before and
it’s the worst!
@LuND I keep jumping the gun and starting EOD/ED too early
too. Except that I’m the one who gets sick of sex by the time O comes around! It’s
tough, hang in there!
@EL824 When I was getting started I checked CM/CP threeish
times a day and what I found was mid-day was the best time for me. I never had
much CM first thing in the morning or after a workout (I have not explanation
for this, purely anecdotal). Now I’ll still check a couple times a day around
the FW, but I count the mid-day check as the official one and that’s the CP I’ll
use too. That said, if I woke up first thing in the morning and found EWCM… DH
won’t know what hit him. For #3, this may not be “correct”, but I count most CM
that’s not EW as Creamy because there is just so much variance. I’ll be
interested to see other people’s answers.
@antoto and @KhRun17 I’m originally from Michigan and you
guys are making me homesick!
@Sirius37 Sorry for CD 1 and sorry your friend was
insensitive. You aren’t selfish, I promise.
Summer FOREVER!!! I should
really move to California. I visited family in Palm Springs a few years ago,
part of their airport doesn’t have a roof! Think about that… it rains so
infrequently that their airport doesn’t. need. a. roof.
@manillabar Just curious but where do you shop for lingerie? I haven't really purchased much for myself but I am thinking why not? with all this HIO I am going to tag @rainbowturtles too because for some reason I am associating you with this same subject lol
@Saralee797 I have had success at Amazon, but only after carefully reading reviews, and the last thing I got was $13 with Prime, and chances are you will need to order a size or up (for the cheap stuff anyway).

I have definitely answered this question two times within the last week, but my answer is the same: visiting the apple orchard to get fresh apple cider donuts and fresh apple pie with cheddar cheese on top.

R/R: ***TW: pregnancy mentioned***
So a longtime friend of mine, whom I call Muffin (neither of us recall why that started), came by for a visit last night since they're about to move to CA in a few days and informed me that his wife is pregnant.
It's taking all my willpower to not reply going "well, you make those plans but TTC is TOTAL BULLSHIT".
Then again, everyone needs to get off this old lady's lawn!

WAYDTGKU: Charting, PNV, B6, CoQ10, EPO and OPK and green tea and Mucinex until O, RRL tea, holding OH to the promise he made about having good timing again this cycle (when geography allows, anyway)
CS/Q: Nope
GTKY: Everything! Can't wait to go on our east coast leaf peeping vacation in early October!!

@bumpybump a 7pm dinner would be a non-starter for us! schedules are so important and we are melt down central if we start eating later than 6:15. We start bed time at 7 or just after. Good luck tonight!
@eggplantface I was 35 having my firsts. I'm sorry your RE is making you feel bad for that. Life is what is and we aren't all ready to have kids at 25.
@boshnjonnie sorry about the bra, that would drive me crazy!
@kyersten I agree with the other ladies, no clear signs of O. I'm in the same boat.
@alysapuggles and @delujm0 I feel the age pressure too! its amazing how time just slips away
@jackiemarie1989 I would also vote for CD13
@Khrun17 I'm glad you were able to get a win by the end of the night
@furbabymom2007 fx for trigger! We always did our IUI 36hrs post trigger, so 40 sounds good to me. Good luck!
and I am apparently a technology fail. I will try to figure out how to successfully attach my chart at some point!

FF put dotted CH on cd 16, and the acne I usually get that peaks at O started to fade around then, and I "usually" O on cd 16 or 17 (but at 2 post loss, it's anyone's guess at "usual")
But my temp did the big jump this morning, and I had ewcm two days ago, so I was thinking yesterday was O day...
But then I had ewcm again this afternoon...so maybe I haven't even O'd yet? blah.
At least I'm pretty sure this won't end up being an anovulatory cycle..so that's good. Not sure if I've O'd or not yet though, so I'm continuing to hio with hubby.
GTKY: What is your favorite thing about the Fall? the colours, the crisp air, the sweaters, leggings, and boots, the spices and food, pretty much everything. It's my favourite season

And I'm like... -_- If I have to explain this ONE MORE TIME. *le sigh* lol

I love the weather! I hate being hot, and I hate all the bugs that come with the summer (hoping I've seen my last house centipede for the year! I'm convinced those things come straight from the pits of hell!). Even more so, though, I'm looking forward to the winter- hot chocolate, holidays, snow, and my birthday!

@antoto I know, colors are about to explode and I can't wait! We have 2 weird trees in our yard that started changing already, but most are still green. First week of October will be awesome!
@eggplantface if only we could get those little plastic timers you put in turkey to pop up when we're ovulating... UGH. Men.
@Aurora1973 sing it, girl...having people start trying long after you and then get pregnant right away. Makes all of us pissy!

@BoshnJonnie Your poor boob! I’ve had that happen before and it’s the worst!
@LuND I keep jumping the gun and starting EOD/ED too early too. Except that I’m the one who gets sick of sex by the time O comes around! It’s tough, hang in there!
@EL824 When I was getting started I checked CM/CP threeish times a day and what I found was mid-day was the best time for me. I never had much CM first thing in the morning or after a workout (I have not explanation for this, purely anecdotal). Now I’ll still check a couple times a day around the FW, but I count the mid-day check as the official one and that’s the CP I’ll use too. That said, if I woke up first thing in the morning and found EWCM… DH won’t know what hit him. For #3, this may not be “correct”, but I count most CM that’s not EW as Creamy because there is just so much variance. I’ll be interested to see other people’s answers.
@antoto and @KhRun17 I’m originally from Michigan and you guys are making me homesick!

Summer FOREVER!!! I should really move to California. I visited family in Palm Springs a few years ago, part of their airport doesn’t have a roof! Think about that… it rains so infrequently that their airport doesn’t. need. a. roof.
