Do any of you ladies have walkers for your LO? If so, what kind did you get and do you like it? LO is cruising the furniture now and I want her to get more practice on her feet while they're flat.
My parents got my son a walker. It's just the bru brand. Nothing fancy. I would put him in it before he could crawl just so he could sit and play in the kitchen. Now that he's crawling and cruising he hates being in it. But he likes pushing it around.
We have the Fisher Price push walker that was like $20 at babies r us. It looks like a zebra and is pretty simple. It sings the alphabet, counts to 10 and makes a couple of other noises including "keep going" and "let's go for a walk". She loves it. It took her a couple of tries to figure out the wood floor but now she's all over the place.
My MIL ended up getting her one by Fisher-Price, as well. She enjoys it! I hope her tip-toe walking will cease, though, because I don't want the tendon to shorten. We used to put her in her jumper a lot and now I regret it
We introduced a push walker a couple of months, and my son is walking on his own now. It's the zebra fisher price one. I find it to be one of the less hideous ones.
