Mine kicks low all the time @mskeenan. I only now at 30 weeks start to feel her higher up inbetween. But before that all were around my pubic bone. So if friends wanted to feel I was...Uhm rather not She did kick higher too according to my midwife, but due to my placenta being on the wrong site I couldn't feel her there.
Thx for asking if I'm still doing better, I'm gettin there, think all the moving, packing, and figuring everything out just got to me. So I'm still inbetween feeling good and not. But it's not as bad as it was Friday morning
@mskeenan once a while my kicks were also around the pubic bone, it depends on the position of the baby. It could be jabs instead of kicks, my Dr said it is completely normal. When i looked at the anatomy of the uterus at ghus stage i think it makes sense to have the movements there but i agree it could be almost painful. I guess if you feel pressure down the cervix as if baby is pushing down , it should be okay. @tvh1982 i m sure you are exhausted from all the moving and changes, everytime i get tired or nervous i am having bad symptoms. I hope you can rest and feel better soon!!
mskeenan - I totally understand about not wanting to be around people all of the time. You have the best excuse now though b/c you are pregnant. I've cancelled a few times on bigger events using the pregnancy card and people are so understanding about it. FYI... you shouldn't be eating raw cookie dough. We aren't supposed to have anything with raw eggs in it.

@erica0901you get tdap at some point in the beginning to middle of the third Trimester. I got mine at 30 weeks, although it may have been 28.. Make sure anyone who will be close to the baby often gets the tdap shot as well before baby is born!
I've seen there's been talking about tdap vaccine and when to take it. As I don't hear anything about it here I didn't react on it the first time, but as its a topic that keeps coming back I had to google it. Now I'm a little confused, haven't you received a vaccine for this when being a child? These are one of the vaccine we get here between 0-4 months and again around 4 and 9 years. (And then some, I'm glad I get scheduled appointments for these)
@tvh1982 I believe that I got the DTaP shot at elementary school as you said. But now the whooping cough is spreading in US, and they say that TDaP protects the baby from whooping cough if you get it during the third trimester. But I will discuss this with my doctor. When you said it, I realized that I got this shot and the booster when I was a kid as you said.
@tvh1982@ZoeFer They are finding that a lot of these vaccines we got as children do have an "expiration date" where they stop being as effective. We've seen an increase in previous illnesses such as Hepatitis and Whooping cough because folks were vaccinated 30+ years ago and it's sort of wearing off.
