WAYDTGKU: waiting for Provera to do its thing..
R/R Today is the first day of school!
CS/Q: not today.
GTKY: What was your favorite grade in school and why?
Probably third grade. My teacher was my neighbor so I knew her really well. I also had some really good friends in my class. I teach third grade now so that's another reason!
CD: 7
WAYDTGKU: preseed, opks, temping
R/R: nothing really today. Just happy to be getting into this part of the cycle after a long annovulatory cycle last month.
CS/Q: what cycle day do you start Wondfos?
GTKY: What was your favorite grade in school and why? I really liked 3rd because I loved that teacher. I also think that's when we learned cursive - which i hear they may not be teaching anymore.
CD: 2
WAYDTGKU: waiting out my period right now. straight chillin.
R/R: My temp dropped yesterday, so I expected AF to show up, but it was weird...usually I spot for several hours first, of not a whole day, but this time I basically immediately had a light flow. I also randomly spotted here and there from 6-9DPO, so who knows what is going on. Anyway, on to the next.
CS/Q: Nope. I've never ovulated before day 19, and since DD was born it's generally been around day 23, so i'll be here for a WHILE.
GTKY: What was your favorite grade in school and why? Probably some time in high school. I had a lot of fun in high school. Junior or Senior year maybe.
CD: 41?
WAYDTGKU: Nothing now.
R/R: I am super tired. I really want to go to home and go back to bed.
Also we are having an upgrade to our credit card processors on Friday at work. Which will mean I will more than likely be at work this weekend. I am not looking forward to any of it.
I DID take the most awesome and equally much needed nap ever when I got home last night. When I woke up I was confused bc DH cooked a whole damn turkey AND stuffing. Wait? WHAT? Is it Thanksgiving?
CS/Q: I really have a gut feeling I am not suppose to be in the WTO thread anymore. I did not really temp for a week (during FW - go figure). I have for the past 3 days and they are well above pre O temps and are normal for post O. When I play with my chart, and add temps for those that I missed it gives me solid CH for CD 34, and if I take out the EW on CD 34, it gives me dotted CH on CD 33. So it is all really just guessing. If anyone wants to take a peek that would be amazeballs.
GTKY: What was your favorite grade in school and why?
I would have to say 7th grade. No longer a "kid" in elementary but not in high school yet. I think I had the most fun that year and actually really likes ALL of my teachers.

WAYDTGKU: PNV, TCOYF, still learning to check CM and properly identify. MAN it is hard sometimes.
R/R: Rant: I really don't know what my body is doing. Had AF after my IUD was taken out, it stopped. Then two days ago and yesterday I had spotting. I just don't get it.
CS/Q: none today, for sure!
GTKY: What was your favorite grade in school and why?
Probably 9th grade year of high school. I had a good mixture of friends that year, I was on the yearbook staff, I had my first boyfriend and first kiss. It was just a really good, fun, learning year.
CD: 2
WAYDTGKU: Sex EOD, temping/charting, PNV
R/R: first day back at work in 10 days is killing me
CS/Q:
GTKY: What was your favorite grade in school and why? I loved all of high school. I made awesome friends and loved the school itself
CD: 1
WAYDTGKU: temping, opk, preseed, pnv
R/R: Meh. CD1, it's pouring and I walked into chaos at work. On a brighter note, DD started preschool today and I can't believe she's old enough for this already.... and it's making me anxious about giving her a sibling that isn't spaced so far away from her in age.
CS/Q: Is a 10 day LP ok?
*TW This is my 2nd cycle after a loss, 3rd after BC. Last month I made it to CD 11 - is that long enough, or should I be looking to lengthen it? How do I even do that?
GTKY: What was your favorite grade in school and why? 7th grade. I finally started playing some sports with friends, and out grew an awkward stage. I just remember it being a lot of fun.
CD: 7
WAYDTGKU: OPKs, prenatals, charting, BD in FW
R/R: I've been having a lot of headaches lately. Another today. But I know this one is due to an early, unexpected, wake up.
CS/Q: None
GTKY: What was your favorite grade in school and why?
I loved my fourth year at college (some say Senior, but I went for 4.5 yrs so not sure what to call it). I had lived in a Cooperative House for two years prior and was President there so I finally let go of some responsibilities and moved into an apartment with awesome friends from my freshman year. We lived a block from the bars which was perfect. I had a hot BF and was doing awesome in my classes. Throughout all of college I was one of about five females in my major and would often be the only female in my classes, which I LOVED! Ahh, college, how I miss it sometimes.

R/R: grateful but aggravated that O appears to be earlier than last two cycles. Nearly missed it! Better not be a false surge...
CS/Q: anyone else experience delayed O with RRL tea? I drank it the last 2 cycles which delayed O from my first 2. This cycle I've tried a more laid back approach and no tea or supplements and O is looking to be on schedule.
GTKY: What was your favorite grade in school and why? Third grade. It was my favorite teacher and the year that put on a play!

WAYDTGKU: temping, sex during EOD, checking cm and cp. I haven't done opks yet but may purchase some this week.
R/R: I slept like crap last night. For some reason I had anxiety about coming into work today. A new girl back in my department has been causing some problems for me and I just really didn't want to come in today. Of course she's also my boss' favorite person (and known for being a snitch) so it's not like I can really say anything at this point. I'm just trying to do my job today and ignore everyone else.
CS/Q: What brand of opks do you recommend?
GTKY: What was your favorite grade in school and why? I would probably say 6th grade. We had an awesome teacher, the soccer team I was on won the championship. I had a great group of friends and overall it was just a good year.

R/R: After a 16 day LP screwing with my head I'm honestly relieved to start a new cycle. Now I can quit torturing myself. Although adding another number to my "Month/Cycle" stings a little. I know 5 cycles is NOTHING when TTC but it still bums me out for some reason. Who knows. Maybe this will be our cycle?
CS/Q: Nope.
GTKY: What was your favorite grade in school and why?
I would have to say either my senior year of high school or my junior year of college. Senior year of HS was as gloriously stereotypical as possible. All the pep rallies, football games, bonfire, ect. And Junior year of college I moved into this great house with my best friends. It was just awesome. Sometimes I wish I could go back to that time, but my liver screams in protest.

WAYDTGKU: Crying and feeling sorry for myself? But really nothing.
R/R: My RE said if I don't get KU after two cycles he wants to do medicated IUI. I called today for an appointment, because I knew AF was coming on Saturday but of course had to wait out the long weekend before I could call. Receptionist tells me the first available appointment is Sept 26! I tried to discreetly tell her my situation because I'm in a cube farm, and asked if I could get in sooner because today is CD1 and I know Clomid starts CD3, and she says "I can transfer you to a nurse to talk about starting testing" and I'm like "Do you not have my chart on your screen? Can't you see I did that and what the doctor's instructions are??" So I emailed my helper person (there's an admin person assigned to each patient for things like this) and am waiting to hear back. Because unless I get in to see him before CD3, we're waiting another cycle. On one hand, cool, I can get KU for free on my own, but on the other hand, I'm so discouraged now and I'll be ovulating while we're at my in-laws and H hates the scheduled sex and can barely make it work. I also would have liked a heads up that there are no last-minute appointments set aside for current patients who need immediate consults, because then I could have called three weeks ago. If you read that whole thing, you're my hero. Here's a funny gif:
CS/Q:
GTKY: What was your favorite grade in school and why?
I think 2nd grade is the only grade that was low stress and I don't have any traumatic memories (like my 1st grade teacher yelling in my face when I dared contradict her, even though I was right, or getting teased relentlessly in 3rd grade for being fat with a bad haircut). College was awesome though. So 13th-16th grades
ETA: @kyersten I've read other posts on the Bump where chart experts have said you should rarely discard a temp. Only do it if you know it's completely wrong, like if you've been drinking or have a fever. If you're off the time by an hour, still keep the temp because it's still fairly accurate. FF will take the empty circle into account when it calculates your O date. I actually will give myself an hour window to temp (5-6 am) and will just tell FF they're all at the same time because I know the difference is negligible.

@mamashan12 - sorry about CD1. A 10 LP is the shorter end of average. Good, not great but certainly not very short.
@busymommy23 - I use WONDFOs because I like the cheapies. Some women on here say they don't get positives with them though. I also reintroduced the CBEFM to my charting this cycle. The monitor is expensive but I've had it for years.

WAYDTGKU: all and some
R/R: My temp dropped below my dotted CL this am making O on CD13 less likely. (I have to discard a temp to even get dotted CH.) I was really hoping I Oed at a "normal" time this cycle so I could have a "normal" LP... I can't imagine there being any insight to my chart since I was horrible with my temps but if you have anything for me - both possibles are below. **I am playing with it and discarding because I got ZERO sleep that night, had been drinking and had just got done road tripping for 7 hours with toddlers. I know its a screwed up temp on CD 14.**
CS/Q: with temp there -
discarded temp -

@JennyV56 Depends on how long your cycle usually is. For a 30-32 day cycle the box recommends CD 15 to start. You basically want to start testing a few days before you would typically O.
@GrabberBlue2010 Looks to me like you probably did O during the time that you missed the temps. Hope you don't have to go in to work this weekend!!
@mamashan12 The only thing I have heard of to help with a short LP (aside from drugs) is B6 supplements. Otherwise, I think your doc may give you an RX for progesterone.
@busymommy23 Wondfos are the least expensive and you can get them on Amazon. Otherwise, a lot of people here use Clear Blue Digitals.

@jennyv56 I start testing right after AF because I have ovulated at all different times during my cycle. I went through a lot of wondfos this cycle.
@busymommy23 I use wondfos and Clear Blue Digital. I don’t recommend the digital advanced because that also measures estrogen and that can be confusing.
Oh @eggplantface. I’m sorry to see you back here. You are doing the right thing by calling the office and advocating for yourself. You can’t let another full cycle go by just because the receptionist is looking at a general schedule. They probably have a ton of patients so you have to be aggressive in making sure your needs are met.

@JennyV56 I start OPKs when I start seeing EWCM, which is usually 3-4 days before I ovulate (based on a couple cycles of charting so far). I think the usual advice is CD10 if you ovulate around CD14.
@GrabberBlue2010 I can't tell you when exactly, but I agree that you have probably ovulated. CD33 or 34 seem plausible. Get yourself over to TWW, girl!
@mamashan12 Sorry for your loss. Unfortunately, short LPs seem to be common for a couple cycles after MC, though 10 days is enough to get and sustain a pregnancy. It likely will lengthen on its own. I've read you can also take B vitamin supplements to help, though I'm not sure how much of an impact that really has.
@busymommy23 I use the Wondfos because they are super cheap and basically foolproof.
@kyersten I tend not to drop temps at all. I'd be happy to scope out your chart if you'd like to post it. Like @eggplantface I consider my temps to be OK within the same hour (5:45-6:45) and open circle only outside of that or if I have been drinking or sick -- but I still leave them in.
@shstephenson So sorry for CD1, though with a 16-day LP I get your relief for sure. Have a nice day today.
@eggplantface Oh no, another CD1! So sorry to see you here. That is SO frustrating about your doctor's office. I can't believe they don't set aside last-minute appointments! Like @laurad75 said, advocate for yourself! Try out "kind but firm refusal" to take no for an answer. Ask to be added to a cancellation list. Anything.
@bornmommy Your CD14 temp could also be a fallback rise. With or without it, I'd put your O at CD12.

thank you, that makes sense! My time never varies more than 1 hour (maybe 1.5 hours) so I'll just leave them be. It's my first cycle temping and charting, so I just keep opening FF up and glaring at it, willing CH to appear lol. @mrs35 - sorry for your loss! I hope you can get things moving soon. *hugs*
I've read that 10-16 day LP is normal, under that is where I've heard concern.
Treat yourself! Sorry the dr office is being frustrating, I hope it gets figured out quick!
@GrabberBlue2010 - hope you don't have to work this weekend...boo!
@mamashan12 - sorry for CD1.
@busymommy23 - I use Clear Blue Digital OPK
@kyersten - I had to discard a temp when I had a slight fever for 3 days that created a false positive and I knew it based on other signs, and as the month went on once those temps were discarded, it found the real peak and gave me CH's that made sense. So, I think if you see CH's but aren't completely sure from other signs that it's right, you can try discarding one or both and see what happens.
@shstephenson - sorry for CD1! Way to be positive, hopefully this will be your cycle girl! Fx!
@eggplantface - CD1 sucks
@bornmommy - do you have an average pre/post O temp range that you know from previous cycles? That's usually what helps me determine what's real spike and what's not.
@adirat - I had the same thing this month, that I wasn't with DH on about CD 10-14, so I was hoping for a later O than the past two (both CD 15). Looking like we lucked out. Hope you do too!
Month/Cycle: 6/4
CD: 18
WAYDTGKU: All the usual suspects...OPK, CM, BBT, ED/EOD depending on DH, preseed, PNV, And hoping for CH's soon... timing has been GREAT lately!
R/R: I turned TWO OPK's now! That's so exciting after only getting 1 last month. AND it's lining up with all the other signs right now... I would REAAAAALLLY love a temp hike tomorrow...
CS/Q: Nada.
GTKY: What was your favorite grade in school and why? Either 1st grade, because I met my best friends and we've been pretty inseparable ever since. Or junior/senior year of high school - because we could drive, had more freedom, school was pretty easy for me, we took a band trip to Europe, and it was a lot of spending time with my friends (sporting games - we were in the band, bonfires, dances, just everything) High school was pretty great! (As was college!)

@KhRun17 - GL on getting those CHs! Good call. Seems like I average out around 97.0 from my previous cycles. But, I'm going years back with this since I haven't been the best at temping for a couple months. ****TW after my D&E it took me a while to get back on the band wagon.*** Anyway - if it averages at 97.0, O on CD12 looks pretty promising right?!

@kyersten Happy to help! I feel like I need a sig that reads, "I would love to stalk your chart. It is my hobby."
CD:10
WAYDTGKU: opks, tracking CM, temping, etc
R/R: I'm so lazy... I had this morning off and I still don't feel like going to work, even just for the afternoon
CS/Q:
GTKY: What was your favorite grade in school and why?
Oddly enough, I enjoyed high school a lot. I was dorky and awkward, definitely not one of the popular kids, but I loved my friends, joined a lot of clubs and was generally happy

CS/Q:
GTKY: What was your favorite grade in school and why? It's a toss up between 3rd grade when I met my best friend and 12th grade when I really learned who I was and that it was okay to be me.
Married: 04/05/15
TTC since: 02/16/16
Also, should I get a BFP, I will not post in the BFP thread. I don't think that it's fair to those of you who have been trying for a long time since we haven't been trying for long. I want to say thank you to everyone who has embraced me and answered my questions. Good luck to all of you!
Month/Cycle: 9/10 (4AL)
CD: 10
WAYDTGKU: Charting, PNV, B6, CoQ10, EPO and Mucinex and green tea until O, RRL tea (when I buy some more!!), trying to recover from the dehydration of the weekend, taking OH up on his pledge to have great timing again this month...when geography allows
R/R: A girl goes on vacation for a week and there are so many BFPs. It was so exciting to see how many graduates we had while I was away. What a great thing to return to!! Congrats to all!!
I am excited to start acupuncture specifically for fertility this week, even though I've already used every dollar of my pre-tax medical reimbursement money and it's going to be $200 for the first visit and $90 after that. This practice comes highly recommended, and I'm hoping that I'm right about my LP getting longer again like it did when I was being treated for migraines. Also, it's just a great excuse for a midday nap!
All day, erry day...
CS/Q: Nope
GTKY: I really liked school up until high school, and even then it wasn't too bad. It seems like third grade was the sweet spot for many of us, and I liked it because we learned to write short stories. But I think I was happiest in junior high when I had such a variety of friends and we were starting to do more stuff on our own, without parents, LOL. It was before groups got too clique-y and a big group could go to the beach or the movies and everyone had low-drama fun.
