It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

@bumpybump - I typically read people's posts before I notice their username (especially on mobile) and I read yours and thought "that sounds like Purdue!!" Then I realized it was you and we already discovered that! Hail hail our old Purdue ;)

WAYDTGKU: all the things plus researching everything like crazy :)

    R/R: nope.

CS/Q: When is it a good idea on FF to discard temps? I have two "open circle" temps (due to the time of the morning I took them) that I'm trying to decide if I should discard. Still no CH.

GTKY: What was your favorite grade in school and why? Probably senior year of high school - I really started to become more confident. I felt ready to go to college, knowing "who I am".

  • @kyersten I usually do not discard temps unless I have a strong feeling O occurred based on other signs. Then I will toss temps and see what happens. Usually, a couple wonky temps won't make a difference for the purpose of FF giving you CH. You are looking for a major trend in temps.
@JennyV56 Depends on how long your cycle usually is. For a 30-32 day cycle the box recommends CD 15 to start. You basically want to start testing a few days before you would typically O.
@GrabberBlue2010 Looks to me like you probably did O during the time that you missed the temps. Hope you don't have to go in to work this weekend!!
@mamashan12 The only thing I have heard of to help with a short LP (aside from drugs) is B6 supplements. Otherwise, I think your doc may give you an RX for progesterone.
@busymommy23 Wondfos are the least expensive and you can get them on Amazon. Otherwise, a lot of people here use Clear Blue Digitals.
    @shstephenson and @eggplantface Sorry about CD1 ((hugs))

    Month/Cycle: 9/8

    CD: 16

WAYDTGKU: BBT, CM, OPKs, Vitamins etc.

R/R: I am just happy this is a short week. Feeling really tired today. I have the Adele concert to look forward to on Saturday night though!!

    CS/Q: Nope.

GTKY: What was your favorite grade in school and why? I really enjoyed my first two years of college. Other than that, maybe 6th grade? My class was so innocent and sweet... before all the catty stuff started.

  • @eggplantface ugh dealing with doctors' offices is the worst! I really hope they can get you in sooner rather than later. You're a better woman than me... I probably would have lost my cool. Try not to get too discouraged (easier said than done, I know).

R/R: I enjoyed my three days off and don't want to go to work today. Only gave to with three days this week though since I have to take the entire day off for my appointment. My doctor is an hour and a half away.

    CS/Q: nope

GTKY: What was your favorite grade in school and why?

I'm one of those that miss high school. I had a really good core group of friends that I still talk to.

  • @eggplantface @Saralee797 and @adirat

thank you, that makes sense! My time never varies more than 1 hour (maybe 1.5 hours) so I'll just leave them be. It's my first cycle temping and charting, so I just keep opening FF up and glaring at it, willing CH to appear lol. I never realized how little I knew about my own body before reading TCOYF and charting! I am attaching my chart, I'm a mobile bumper so apologies if this is an annoying size :)

  • @kyersten I would vote for CD19 ovulation based on temps. Your OPKs likely missed your surge. You have great timing for CD19, by the way!

@antoto Are we the same person? I dated an awful guy sophomore and most of junior year of college, and I remember when I finally broke up with him I just kept thinking, "Why didn't I do this a million years ago?" Ugh crappy college boyfriends.

  • @kyersten I agree with @adirat that CD19 looks like your day.  Guess tomorrow's temp will tell for sure!

And yeah @adirat sometimes I just want to kick myself reflecting on all the time I spent with dumb men instead of being awesome with my friends.

    WAYDTGKU: HIO, temping, CM

R/R I love that even though it isn't technically fall yet, we are so close! And it is a 4-day week!

    CS/Q:

GTKY: What was your favorite grade in school and why?
Probably either 3rd grade because I had my favorite teacher and we did a lot of cool science projects or all of high school. I went to a small high school where everyone knew each other, I loved almost all of my classes, and I just enjoyed going to school every day. Plus I loved all the excitement of sports and activities in a small town.
  • @busymommy23  I use the clearblue advanced and actually like them very much. They are a touch on the expensive side but I do like taking interpretation out of the bleary eyed morning routine. The last cycle I had 4 days of high fertility before my peak which was new to me (this is my 5th month- had done them for 2 months TTC just to kind of understand my pattern and always had 2 days high then peak) but when putting it all together I like feeling all my bases are covered

R/R: yay for a Monday that is actually a Tuesday!

GTKY: What was your favorite grade in school and why?
I loved high school. Was definitely a huge nerd but went to a school I thoroughly enjoyed (all girls) with teachers that genuinely cared.

@KhRun17 - GL on getting those CHs!   Good call.  Seems like I average out around 97.0 from my previous cycles.  But, I'm going years back with this since I haven't been the best at temping for a couple months. ****TW after my D&E it took me a while to get back on the band wagon.***  Anyway - if it averages at 97.0, O on CD12 looks pretty promising right?!

  • Thanks all for the LP info. I left a message for my OB just to see what he thinks. I may sound crazy, but I have nothing to lose by asking.
  • My bump has been going crazy the last few days, so I haven't been able to post. I'm heading over to TWW and I hope to see some of you there soon!

Also, should I get a BFP, I will not post in the BFP thread. I don't think that it's fair to those of you who have been trying for a long time since we haven't been trying for long. I want to say thank you to everyone who has embraced me and answered my questions. Good luck to all of you!
