I'm sorry @yellingbanana thinking of you and your family!
my plans are pretty lame...work today and tomorrow. I have Monday off though so I hope I can relax in our pool since its supposed to be the last really nice day we get.
I'm very sore after today. My MIL went shopping this afternoon. She surprised me by buying me 4 dresses and 3 pairs of pants. Holy smokes! Then I went back to the in-laws and helped them prepped food for tomorrow bbq, then I went to once upon a child and found some screaming deals, and then I went grocery shopping. My back is not happy with me. Tomorrow I need to make a dessert for the BBQ and then I plan to lounge and eat.
@yellingbanana I'm so terribly sorry. There is just something about grandfathers that make them so wonderful and so difficult to lose. I found that making a memory book of the stories I remember hearing and the times we had gave me some closure. Maybe it will help you.

I am taking it super easy and drinking water as fast as I can. I had BH for 4 hrs last night, and it's starting again tonight. I just need 3 weeks baby E, then you can stay in a local NICU. 3 weeks baby girl.

Been so MIA the past few days. We've pack everything. Loaded our moving trailer. And took off driving this morning. 12 hours later, we're settled into our hotel for the night. 12 more hours tomorrow and I'm home free! Surprisingly, I'm actually feeling pretty good despite probably doing too much lifting for two days then sitting in a car for 12 hours.
We saw a movie last night, The Light Between Oceans. There's rarely movies out I want to see, and DH likes scary movies so that's usually all we watch. This was a nice change of pace!
The book was better, and the movie seemed a little slow, but I still enjoyed it. We saw a preview for The Girl on the Train too. Even DH thought that one looked good.
We are having an amazing weekend so far. I just love when DH and I get to be together all day. We did our shopping, grabbed some wings for lunch, came home and watched Hulu for a couple of hours, ate dinner, and then he played XBox and I read side by side on the couch until bed time. This morning we slept in and made some French toast. Gonna get out here in a bit and go to church, then see what is on Redbox and then I'm going to make Emily Bites's version of Zuppa Toscana for dinner. We will probably end up reading and gaming again, which is fine by me. I'm currrently engrossed in Elizabeth Gilbert's "A Signature of All Things." ❤️

I loved that book! I couldn't pin down exactly why I loved it. I think the main character is just so... innocent or something
@slartybartfast I bought it over a year ago and it's just set on my self waiting for me. I'm enjoying it so much that it is a shame that it's set unread for so long. I've grown rather fond of Alma myself, I'll be sad to leave her behind in the end.
@yellingbanana I'm so sorry about your grandfather. <so many hugs>
We're in Dallas visiting friends for the weekend. In general, it's been fun - Stockyards on Friday, improv last night, baseball game today - see my rant in randoms for more info. The time with friends has been good though
So I had an extra long weekend (I didn't work on Friday), and I've spent most of it so far playing video games, watching football and working on my registry. You'd think making a registry would be fun, but the sheer amount of stuff is overwhelming and there are too many options for each thing!
Today and tomorrow, I'll do more of the same, plus some unpacking. We are down to the boxes that mostly go from box to trash bag, but its a lot of work. Sometime today or tomorrow we will go to BRU and get our glider and ottoman while it is 20% off.
Friday - DH and I just went out for supper and came home and watch "Eddie the Eagle", which was great movie.
Saturday - Went maternity clothes shopping with my MIL and SIL. MIL offered to take me shopping earlier, but I needed more fall/colder weather stuff so I told her we could wait. I got quite a few things and should be set until baby comes. After that, we met up with DH, FIL, SIL hubby and 2 of our nephews, and DH's grandparents for supper. After that, we went back to SIL's house and sat around. We wrote down a bunch of names on the kids' dry erase easel and let everyone who was there (everyone but grandparents) see if they could pick out the name we have chosen. Before we said anything, most liked Wyatt... so that was good.
Sunday (today) - laundry and relaxing. Cleaning up some stuff, etc. Movie tonight... not sure what yet. Maybe Deadpool or some war movie DH saw when we were looking through the Vudu movies Friday night.
Monday - I think we may go out and look at recliner's, as we want to get one for the upstairs living room. I also want to go to a grocery store, and we'll probably go out for supper or something to finish off the weekend.
@yellingbanana So sorry to hear about your Grandpa. *hugs* My grandpa just turned 93 in July and his health has been decreasing the last few years, so I feel for ya.

@yellingbanana I'm so sorry for your loss. *creepy internet hug*
That's the best creepy internet hug I've had! Lol you guys are all so sweet. Thanks for the love! This would be hard no matter what, he was by far the grandparent that I was closest to. But the prego hormones are making me so dang sentimental.

So sorry to hear of your loss, it's hard to lose someone you love, especially if you were close. Positive thoughts headed your way.
