Worked yesterday and today for the holiday. Sucks ass!! But I keep telling myself - GOOD MONEY! Yeah that's not working so well. I want my bed. Praying today flies right on by!
Married 11-11-11 TTC only since Dec 2015. I had some weight to get off. Been working hard in the gym for over a year. BFP 02-15-16 with our first IT'S A BOY!!!
I'm. So. Tired. I couldn't fall asleep last night so now I'm exhausted. I had planned to be so productive today but I think I'll just become one with the sofa today instead
Between having to wait until Thursday to find out if I have preeclampsia or not, the rear breaks and A/C on my truck going out and the central A/C going out here at home when we're still hitting the mid to high 90s outside........... It's been a rough weekend. I know most people hate Mondays, but I'm honestly glad to see this weekend gone and, hopefully, have a fresh start and least SOME good news this week!
Sorry to anyone working today! Hopefully you get time and a half!
@blumommy- I too hope your week starts off better! I also hope you get good news on your testing! And 90s! Ugh! Our temps are supposed to rise this week too. I am so over it.
Just got my labs back in my email, and it looks like my iron supplement isn't really helping much. Now I'm anxious as to what they'll say at my appointment on Thursday...not ready for an outside baby yet!
Oh my god, pregnancy is making me such a bitch. My husband is about to kill me and if I see one more post on this dumb Facebook mom's group that's like "I had a piece of cold rotisserie chicken, is my baby going to get Listeria" I'm going to legit lose my shit. I have no patience for stupid people.
@ashleyp625 my iron supplements haven't been working this entire pregnancy, besides making me constipated. I am .4 above the anemia line. My Dr hasn't said anything about it being a cause for inducing, just that I may need a transfusion depending on how labor goes.

@ashleyp625 I actually just talked to my OB about this this morning. My levels went down half a point. She said that the iron supplement should keep my iron where it is, at this point it really won't increase it. But still take it and try and eat iron rich foods. You don't want to see you iron levels drop lower.
My hemocrit level is at 30.5 right now which is on the low side. I did have to large bleeding episodes with this pregnancy that contributed to it.
We made non-specific plans to get together with DS's BFF today and his mom just backed out. DS is going to be crushed and I'm hoping to have to find something to do with him instead.
My boss kept scheduling me 9-10 days in a row (I work on my feet) and basically called me a liar when I told her. She finally fixed it, but I have to work through the holiday. Had to go to the hospital last night because of an awful headache that had me scared for my blood pressure, but it was a severe migraine. At least I got some decent sleep because of the medication they gave me.
So I just about lost it bc my neighbors have vines growing over the fence that is between both of our yards, and I guess they usually pick the vegetables/fruit from it but the other day I noticed this bright orange spiky fruit with red seeds in it that fell in our yard, and was curious so I finally googled it today…turns out it apparently is something that can make you violently ill and INDUCES ABORTIONS! WTAF, growing fruit that induces abortion when your neighbor is pregnant?! I'm not about to eat some unknown thing but my dogs definitely would, so I'm glad they didn't get it! (insert furious face)

We're on our way to a Labor Day community party thing. It's at the local (small town) airport (my FIL is a hobby pilot). Anyway, it's 95 today, and I don't want to just hang out with hundreds or thousands of people on hot concrete. And, we've been in standstill traffic trying to get there for 25 minutes already and still have miles to go.
And, I have to pee. Which will have to be done in a porta potty upon arrival.
It's getting cold here (low 50s in the morning, highs in the mid-60s), none of my sweatshirts or coats zip over my belly, I can't find a maternity sweatshirt in any store nearby and by the time I get anything I order, I'll have at most two weeks to wear it before baby comes. Petty, but annoying.
Also, I dragged my toddler to Target this morning to get a few things and most of what I bought I had coupons through Cartwheel. Despite having an entire conversation with me about Cartwheel, the cashier didn't ring it up. I didn't realize it until I got home. So now I have to decide if it's worth it to get my toddler back in the car and drive back to the store to save $11.
Ive been on bed rest since 23 weeks so she has been unpacking all the gifts when they arrive. I asked her NOT to put anything away because I wanted to do it after I was discharged from hospital. Well now that I'm 35 weeks, I can walk around and live a little. I just went into the nursery and she has rearranged everything and put ALL the clothes and diapers away...the way she wanted it set up.
I asked her about. Guess what her response was..."Because I wanted to and you weren't there to stop me"

@PCOSbaby well that's some shit! I would be PISSED!! So not right.
Married 11-11-11 TTC only since Dec 2015. I had some weight to get off. Been working hard in the gym for over a year. BFP 02-15-16 with our first IT'S A BOY!!!
@PCOSbaby I would go into her house when she wasn't home, rearrange all her shit and then provide her with the exact same response. You'll have to wait a while to do it, but it'll be worth it. Revenge is a long game, after all.

@pcosbaby her response is super annoying! But on the plus side, you don't have to clean up any boxes or hangers? You can just rearrange now how you want!?
It seems to be every other day day I'm having very strong, very painful contractions. They have been being only in my belly, and proven to be only braxton hicks. yesterday i was having back pains that wrapped around to the front usaully about 20-25 minutes apart. I didnt go to L&D because i figured at 20-25 min they would send me back home. At three o'clock this morning i woke up with even stronger pains. Waited til 5 30 then went to hospital. Hooked me up to the monitor for two hours to tell me that they didnt see any contractions for me just to go home and come back if water broke, bleeding, yada yada yada. When i asked about the contractions i was feeling, they said we don't see any contractions, not Even BH. Basically looked at me like i was stupid. So here i am at home, still contracting, still hurting. i swear I'm not crazy.
@AshleyGemini24 - do you think it could be gas pains? My friend thought she might be in labor once with her first... Until she passed gas and felt better. I'd consider taking something for gas and see if it gets better
More of a petty problem than bitchfest, but I have my strep test tomorrow which is all good, but I'm trying to "clean up" down there and it's a PIA with this big hard belly and I swear I'm hairy than my husband at the moment!!
Totally petty problem but I had the dumbest cashier ever. Who reaches over the cold items that were placed together specifically on the conveyor belt to grab regular stuff to mix in with the cold items so they have to go into two bags instead of one?

This was me last week. I purchased a bottle of Nair and sat on the toilet to apply. 7 minutes later...all clean!

There had better be good food.
