@maebee87 - what a rip!  If the store won't take it back, contact the manufacturer and see if they'll give you a refund.

    @marybpoppins - good luck testing!

@mamashan12 - maybe implantation dip? it's nice to hope so

@delujm0 - sorry for the BFN but crossing fingers for a BFP later - it can happen!

@TalesOfASocialIntrovert  I don't normally notice O pain, but I think I did this past cycle.  If I do, I tend to notice a localized pain in the area of one ovary or the other.  Generally it's pretty short-lived or maybe persists for a few hours.  I might have some generalized abdominal discomfort/bloating afterwards for a day or so.  I'm pretty sure I O pretty close to feeling the initial pain.  However, it can be different for other people.  Some experience pain before, during, and/or after ovulation and the discomfort can be brief or last a day or two from what I've read.

  • Thoughts on drinking during the TWW?  I should ovulate around 9/15-9/18 and we just got invited to an event on 9/24 I will be in the TWW then.  With my DS I drank until it was a positive test.

  • @IvyMagic828 Thanks! It wasn't one side or the other, it's more similar to AF cramps :/

    @LADY324 I'm a "drink til it's pink" gal.

@eggplantface Someone on Reddit said that it was like she expected a sudden pop-up to appear: "Oh wait, you've checked so many times that we decided to reanalyze your chart and you are in fact pregnant" :)

  • @rainbowturtles Never stop gifing!

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD/DPO: 27/11

    Timing: -2, O, +1

    Testing: Nope

R/R: I keep spotting (mainly in the morning, which is weird) and with a .2 temp drop this AM I'm fairly confident I'll officially be out either today or tomorrow. Laaaaaame.

    CS/Q: Negative

GTKY:  in honor of the Labor Day weekend in the US, what was your first job?
My first job was technically off the books. I used to bait scates for fishing boats; basically I'd hook bait on these looooooong ropes that boats would use to catch fish. On the book, I worked at an ice cream and espresso shop.
  • @Jenshoes what do you sell in your shop?
  • Guys! FF gave me CH this morning, but I have so many questions!
I'm CD27 and I thought 3DPO but FF is telling me 5DPO. I'm confused because I got a positive OPK at 5:30PM the day that FF is saying was my O day. Now, I know some women don't get a positive until they ovulate, but I had a normal for me temp the next morning and cramps that night around 8PM (on what I'm assuming was my O-day). So...I'm either O and +1 or -1, -2, O depending on who is right (me or FF).
I won't be testing anytime soon. Maybe next Sunday if AF hasn't come.
My first job was babysitting or scooping ice cream if you have to pay taxes for it to count :)

  • @mrsegan13 Can you include a screen shot of your chart please?

It is possible to O anytime from 12-48 hours after your OPK FIRST becomes +. So depending on how often you test, if you caught your surge on the later end, etc, ovulating on the same day as a + is not unheard of.

@BitterBetty12, thanks for your willingness to help. Also, I have more temps in the 6-7AM than any other range, but for some reason, FF set my average time to a different time and so I have a lot of open circles, when, in reality, my last 10 temps were all taken in the 6-7AM time range. I'm a teacher, so August was an eratic month for me, but I really did my best. This is my first time charting; I know it's not as pretty as some others.

Oh, also! I took an OPK that was negative at like 9:30AM and then got the positive at 5:30PM that same day. If I O'd that day, it'd be one short surge!
Also, my temp on CD24 was taken after almost no sleep (we had 5 people and a dog staying at our house), so I'm not sure if it's an accurate temp.

  • @mrsegan13 I almost definitely think you're right and are only 3dpo. I'd be curious to see if FF eventually changes your CHs with sustained high temps. I would go off of the later date anyway to avoid testing early.

  • Thanks @BitterBetty12! I really appreciate it. I also think my odds are better with my version of O day, so I'm hoping FF changes too. Thank you for helping me! Best of luck to you!!

  • @mrsegan13. I agree that you wouldn't normally expect to O the *same day* as your pos opk, plus the continued fertile cm would lead me to lean towards 3dpo ;)
  • Thanks @BusinessWife! I'm hoping so! I'm so happy I found this community. You guys have been so helpful.

    Timing: EOW FW

Testing: May try to test around 11 or 12 DPO

R/R: Spending my Friday night alone, trying not to look at too many cute baby onesies online :)

    CS/Q: None

GTKY:  in honor of the Labor Day weekend in the US, what was your first job?  My first job was at Panera Bread, I remember thinking that the job was so stressful but I'd be happy to spend a day making coffee and taking food orders over a busy day in charge at work these days.

R/R: ACNE!!!! Ugh! End of rant.

GTKY: my first job besides babysitting, was factory work, while I was still in high school working nights on weekends. It sucked. And I lasted 9 months. I honestly dunno how I managed to do that job and maintain my grades. It was all work and no play school year.

  • @MrsM00re87 that sounds like an intense high school job!!

@klstone25 and @sirius37 bummer about AF! Fx for your next cycle!

@swimsister I won't pretend to know much about when it's time to go to the fertility specialist... but I think the standard is 6 mo. If you're 35 (or I'd say getting closer to 35) and a year if you're under that. On the other hand... the worst a dr. Is going to say is call back in 6 months (maybe with a request for you to be charting or doing something specific- I'm not sure if you are-where, if you didn't make the call you would never have known and been set back another few months!)

@BusinessWife agh!!! Your chart is looking great! Fx for you!!
