Fur Family!

Not sure if this has been done before and I know it's a little off topic - however I'm HUGE animal lover! I was wondering if anyone else wanted to share their fur family? Even if they don't have fur (fish/reptiles/birds etc) - I'd love to see them!

We currently have one dog (working on DH to get a second), and three cats.

And here is Picard's baby sister, Waffles. She's our "baby cat". She doesn't meow but will squeak and head butt you for treats. She loves to steal yarn and drag it all over the house. I even purposely let some yarn out just so she can string it everywhere as she pleases. The joy it brings her is worth it.

@PattersRN Is Bella a tortie? She is gorgeous!! I have a thing for torties. I volunteer for a nonprofit to take care of cats and the least adopted are solid white, solid black, and tortie cats. I can't believe people don't find them beautiful. I also adore Eileen's beard

@clarereedy Your puppy is sooooo adorable!! She looks so tiny too in that nice big bed!

@DaniBanani16 I love it! She looks like the eager type to greet you as soon as you come home too. I'm such a huge fan of cats - when people say they don't like them I can't imagine they've ever lived with one.

@marshmallowfarts yes, I believe she is classified as a tortie. I think torties are absolutely gorgeous. She was actually the last one I looked at when I was at the shelter. I saw so many nice, friendly cats and I finally asked about her. She was in a special cage that only staff (no volunteers) could open because she had a history of biting and hissing at people. She didn't do well on the shelter and was terrified. She barely warmed up in foster care. She sat in the shelter for 4 months (after I sent them an update, the staff admitted to me that they thought she was unadoptable). I adopted her because no one else wanted to and I knew I could give her the quiet environment she needed. She hid for a month and finally started opening up. 3 years later she's still a tad skittish but worlds away from where she was.

@marshmallowfarts My husband works for Bob's furniture. Apparently they now have pet beds. Zuma's bed is almost as comfortable as my bed! I said our baby doesn't need a crib, it could use one of these beds. Lol!! (Kidding, of course!)

My best girl, Mollie. When we adopted her, the shelter told us she was blind. She's not blind, but she has had two brain surgeries! She's now 9 years young!

Our first daughter, Amelia! We adopted her from a rescue in December. Sweetest, laziest couch potato love bug ever. She's going to be a great big sis!

Bentleigh is our 4 year old rescue pup! She is supposedly a sharpei heeler cross (husky too I think!).

Jayden (horse) is my partner in crime! I've been riding her for 11 years now and she really is like my best friend!

This is my dog Mickey. She's a miniature pinscher, Pomeranian, shetland sheepdog mix. I wouldn't believe it either but we had a DNA test done in her to find out what his crazy little dog was. She likes to squeak at an almost inaudible pitch and eat cat poop from the yard. We also have eight chickens, Lucy, Eleanor (my favorites), Rhonda, Crusty, Floppy Head, Big Red, Cersei and Peggy. We were in the process of getting some goats but that's on hold now that a second baby is happening.

DH and I have one rotten to the core 10 month old American bulldog mix, Pete. His nickname is El Chapo since he chews the wall now. We think he's planning his escape because we broke the news to he was getting 2 siblings and was no longer an only child. Brat.

@marshmallowfarts love this! Everyone has such adorable fur babies!! I've also been working on DH to let me bring home another dog but he's still very opposed to it...if it were up to me we'd have adopted 15 dogs by now! We rescued this sweet guy last year & I know he's gonna be a great big brother when our LO arrives!

Everyone's pets are so adorable!

We have a small zoo here - 2 dogs, 2 cats and a Guinea pig.

Friday here just had surgery on Sunday to remove a small piece of a corn cob that was lodged in his intestinal tract. He's 3 days post-op and is finally starting to eat and feel a little better, poor guy.

His "sister" Coconut is a little athlete. We compete in agility trials together and she loves it! Look at the smile

I love all the furbabies!!! Oscar is a little 11 pound terror. He turns 2 on September 18. He was not taking the news well that he was going to be a big brother at first, but we think he's calmed down a bit. His favorite things are greenies, his floppy monkey toy, sleeping on my head, and barking at all the neighbors who walk by.

These are our two dogs, the black lab is Maverick, he's 8 1/2 years old, the yellow lab is Charlee, she is 4 1/2 months old, she'll be turning one about a month and a half after LO is here. We also have an English spot rabbit, named Spot (DS named her) and a handful of chickens, Mia, Irene, Ana and Esther, but Irene is currently days away from hatching a clutch of eggs (I can't wait!!!)

This is my 9 year old St. Bernard Dakota. At 150 pounds she is truly a gentle giant. She enjoys sitting like this on the couch, I'm not sure if it's because it makes her feel more human or if it's because she can't fit otherwise

This is my sweet Pikachu. We put her down last night, she had Hemangiosarcoma (cancer of the blood vessels) and her lungs had filled with blood. We're heartbroken. She was such a fantastic dog, and my daughter's best friend.
