Good Morning! As a little background, H and I have been TTC since December of last year. We ended up pushing for and getting an SA and some bloodwork for me. H's SA came back with 0% normal morph. Count and motility are normal, but the RE thinks the morph is what is causing our issues. Everything cost wise for us will be OOP so we are considering jumping to IVF, since the % chance for IUI working are low comparibly for my H's issue. Not sure what our plan will be at this point, we find out his second SA results on Wednesday and we will go from there. I think there is a lot of knowledge here to be gained, of course I wish none of us had it, but thanks for letting me be a part of it.

Welcome! We don't have MFI, but we did 3 rounds of IUI with 0 luck. Just finished IVF and have 7 embryos frozen, so I can certainly attest that it works better, at least in my case!

Welcome! I second @omarismyhomeboy.. we did 3 IUI's with no success and then went onto IVF where I had 4 embryos (1 transferred and 3 frozen). If I could go back I would have jumped strait to IVF instead of wasting my time and money on IUI's.

@teamginger13 - thanks for sharing that opinion. I just had my first failed IUI and trying decide next steps. I feel like the IUI chances are so low. I appreciate hearing from women who have been there and what they would change. The emotional investment on the medicated cycle is so high and to fail is devastating.

@Megzb510 I'd agree with what @teamginger13 said. I do know someone who had success with IUI, but we certainly didnt. We are completely unexplained, and I thought this whole time it must be egg quality, because even with 4 large follicles and IUI, we never had a positive test. We still don't know what was wrong, but it wasn't egg quality, because we have a great # of frosties, for which we are very grateful. IUI is of course a lot cheaper and easier on the body, but I don't really think it was fully worth the emotional turmoil I went through those 3 months.

@Zoey1019 our main issue is also DH's morphology (1%). We went straight to IVF and ended up with 5 blasts after ER and PGS testing. Fresh transfer ended up being a chemical pregnancy but hoping FET #1 is our baby!
