It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

  • Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD: 3

WAYDTGKU: prenatals, tracker app, reading TCOYF. Trying to not go crazy and start doing ALL the things since my DH and I agreed to "let it happen".

R/R: My husband and I live with our friend. He left a load of laundry in the washer over the weekend. So when I went to do laundry yesterday I opened the washer to the nasty smell of must clothes that have been sitting there for 4 days wet. He tried to say he told us. He certainly did not since he was still doing laundry when we went to bed 4 days ago.

CS/Q: When checking CM do you ladies base it just off of how you feel? Because when I try to do that I really don't notice anything. But TCOYF says that manually checking can give a different result?

GTKY: What is your favorite number and why? 24, I am not 100% sure. Could be that it's the same date as my birthday.

    WAYDTGKU: OPKs, temping...

R/R: No temp spike today :( hanging pretty low. OPKs are back to negative. CM doesn't seem fertile but CP is high... no clue what's going on. I told myself I wasn't going to stress about early cycles off BCP but ugh I can't seem to help worrying this morning. Hopefully the spike will come tomorrow. This cycle feels like its going to drag on...

I'm also feeling a little overwhelmed with my to-do list this semester and today will be a very long day. I may treat myself to some wine after class is finally over tonight!

    CS/Q: Nope

GTKY: What is your favorite number and why?

17 probably, it's my birthday # and feels lucky :)

    CD:26

WAYDTGKU: pnv, opk, preseed and HIO at least EOD

R/R: On Sunday I started spotting and its been consistent since then.  I think its more like a light flow so it might be AF but I don't know for sure.  I spoke to my nurse at the RE clinic yesterday who said to keep monitoring it and check back in with her today.  If it is AF I would start another round of clomid tomorrow night but I don't want to start taking it in the middle of a cycle when I could possibly still ovulate.  I'm so confused.  And my temp plummeted this morning so that is random.

CS/Q: I don't even know what to ask at this point.

GTKY: What is your favorite number and why? I tend to like 7.
History and blog link in spoiler

WAYDTGKU: trying to keep up with all things

R/R: DS slept through the night for the second night in a row! it has been months since he has done this. I am knocking on wood as speak! I survived yesterday's madness at work, hopefully today will be a bit more under control.

CS/Q: not yet but my temps the last 3 mornings have been VERY similar which is unusual for me, I hope my mabis is not favoring temps

GTKY: What is your favorite number and why? 8, its my birth day but I also like the symmetry of it.

@EEL0824 I agree with @mrsdaddario I usually use my finger. if I happen to wipe and its super obvious I go with that but if not, I go looking so to speak.

@polarbear517 sorry your signs aren't matching up nicely... maybe it was a false surge and O is still on its way..

@mrsdaddario congrats on a good looking follie.  I hope tomorrow's scan goes well. fx for you this cycle

@nytino24 good luck, i'm not sure I've ever gotten 2 good pictures in a row!

  • @NYTino24 - Ugh! 2 waits at the DMV. Boo. Hopefully your line isn't long on Friday.
@laurad75 - what a frustrating cycle, I hope you figure it out. :(

Sorry I went MIA for a few days, we had a LOT of family time (good, but exhausting). I've been thinking of you ladies and lurking when I can. I hope everyone is doing well!!!

    Month/Cycle: 6/4

    CD: 11

WAYDTGKU: BD at parents' houses. :) But really...OPK, preseed, temping, EOD (once we're back in the same state)

R/R: I gotta say... doing the BD in my parents house with 5 other people in the house was fun because we had to try to be so quiet (we were on a different floor from the rest of them, and they were all asleep). And then at his parents house he felt SOOOO awkward because it was in his sisters childhood bed. Hahaha! Anyway, he's back home and I'm still with family for a few days, so we wanted to get a few in just in case.
My temps have been so random this month though, but frequently when I notice they're kinda high it's when I wake up kinda hot with too many blankets, so I'm not too worried about it, just might make it hard for FF to find CH's.

CS/Q: Has anyone else changed thermometers and had their temps be significantly different? I got a new one that I started using this month (so at least the month is consistent with itself) and prior to this my pre-O temps would be closer to 97.2 and then after would hang around 97.7. This cycle, with the new thermometer (I'm pretty sure this one is better than my old one) my pre-O temps are closer to 97.9!

GTKY: What is your favorite number and why? I guess it's always been 3...because of my birthday.

  • Month/Cycle: 8/8

    CD: 9

WAYDTGKU: Vitamins, BBT, CM etc. for now and ALL the tests. DH dropped off his SA this morning and they said he can call on Friday for the results. This is good because depending on the results we can switch it up to EOD for this cycle. I am getting bloodwork tomorrow morning (which ahhhh I usually faint so I hope its not too much blood). Genetic testing sent in yesterday which involved spitting in a tube (@BusinessWife you know what I'm talking about :p ) that was kind of weird. And I have to wait for my HSG because they are abnormally booked up... why me?

R/R: Does anyone else have a war of the headphones in their house? DH constantly steals mine and this morning I had to walk to work alone... in silence. Sorry I am not that zen to enjoy it. Especially with this humidity.

CS/Q: So I have health insurance coverage only up to a diagnosis of infertility then nothing. I just found out that DH has up to $15k of lifetime infertility coverage. Open enrollment is not until October. If we add me, does anyone know whether it matters if I have a diagnosis of infertility beforehand? Are preexisting conditions still a thing or does that only apply to plans that are on the Obamacare list? I'm wondering if I should push off getting a diagnosis until I can be added to his health insurance plan. Let me know your thoughts.

GTKY: What is your favorite number and why? 9 and 4 were my soccer numbers and now I am married to a 4th so either of those. If we are talking lucky numbers, I would also throw in 7 for good measure.

@wabash15 maybe a false surge... but if my temp doesn't go up tomorrow I'm kind of thinking this is just a lost cycle, DH is headed out of town on Friday not to return until Wednesday. On CD 23 there are some women who O'd long enough ago that they are already testing for a BFP! Gah! Hopefully quicker next cycle!

R/R: Well CD 13 and a stark white OPK. We'll see where this goes I suppose.

CS/Q: I don't know how to make this sound less graphic, but I've heard that a woman orgasming after the man can essentially help suck the sperm in. I tried googling and didn't find any solid info - does anyone know if this is true?

@adirat sorry you're in here  :( FX that this cycle is it!

@BertieMeetsGertie what's your normal cycle length? C'mon O!  And, yes... unfortunately we moved from a big city to a small town about 18 months ago. I'd be happy to move back to a bigger city, but DH grew up in a small town and loves it (although he doesn't work in town, so he doesn't have to deal with the childish drama like I do)  :|

@berg your post about the job cracked me up! New jobing so hard!

Hey @wabash15 that does make sense. I keep expecting there to be this loophole where I will be denied because it seems too good to be true. We don't know if we will need it yet but I am exploring all options at this point. Thanks for your insight!! I hope your DS continues to sleep through the night!!
