INTRO & EDD THREAD

Hi all!
I have been hesitant to post this time around. A week after my BFP I started bleeding. It only lasted for a day. I saw my doctor and had blood work done, then more bw last Friday. I just got the results last night and my numbers look great. I'm going for an early ultrasound Friday, just to be safe. I'm thinking the due date will be 4/22.

This will be baby #2 for us. My son was born April 2014. I'm 30 and DH is 32. I teach 4th grade on the GA coast.

Moving over from N15 board. Surprise baby here! Like BIG surprise.... I am a SAHM and college student. I have 4 awesome sons; KC(6) Nate (4) Brayden (2) and JJ (9m). My husband and I were done having kids, so we thought, and one unprotected night BAM!! Baby #5. I should add I also have 2 older stepsons 20 & 18, so all boys! I'm still trying to wrap my head around another baby. My EDD is 4-24-17 going by my last period. I've decided I don't won't to know the sec this time around. I will have a birth center labor like my last 2. If anyone has a question I'm pretty much a pro by now lol

oh I'm 34, turn 35 in April, DH is 47

forgot to add I'm a grandma!!! I have a beautiful granddaughter who is 5wks younger than my youngest!

Hi everyone! I am 27 and DH is 34. I found out two weeks ago I was preggo. My EDD is around April 14th.This will be baby #2. My daughter is 2 years old born May 2014! Im pretty excited for this pregnancy! Just had my first US but I go back next week because it was too small for a good picture.

Well, hello! First time doing one of these (I was a Grade A lurker for my first two pregnancies). I am due April 15, but seeing as how my last baby was 2.5 weeks late, that's a big fat maaaaaybe. I'm a hairstylist turned SAHM to two rascals. DD is 3 and DS is almost 2. CA fire wife to my husband. We're both 26.
This pregnancy-- 1st tri during the thick of fire season and newborn will be here at the start of next fire season. Sooo, maybe we should try to plan better next time lol. And yes, we do hope there will be a few "next times"

This babe caught us a bit off guard, but it's the best kind of surprise.

@cook3133 welcome! I'm actually on baby #5 myself as well (after feb 2015 board) - also the surprise of the century! Husband and I considered our family complete after 2 girls and 2 boys, but you know what they say about the best laid plans ... anyways, jumping into his board has helped make the pregnancy seem more real and now I'm getting quite excited. Good luck!

Hi ladies! I received my BFP on Monday and my EDD is April 29. My DH and I are both 34 and we have a 2.5 daughter. She has been asking for a brother or a sister for awhile (several of her daycare friends have had new siblings recently). I feel so blessed to be pregnant and doing the whole journey all over again. Looking forward to getting to know everyone!

Hi ladies

this is baby number 3 for me! Our first lo was sadly stillborn in 2015, then had our little boy 3.5 months ago and now expecting again!! I've litterally been pregnant for the last 1.5 years and now another nine months to go!! Just found out yesterday that were expecting again but I figure we will be due late April. hoping to actually participate in all the conversations this time around!

I am 35(36 next month) my DH is 34 and we are expecting our first human child April 25th. We have been together for 15 years and married for 7. We live in VA. We have 3 furry children two dogs Izzie-4 and Enzo who is just 7 weeks and one cat Allie-5 years. We are very excited but anxious as well. We have told some of our friends but are waiting to tell our families so we can do so in person. Our families have been asking us about children for a very long time so they are going to be over the moon. Looking forward to getting to know you all better. Good luck to you all.

I'm like you - have told some friends but so far zero people related to me know. I'm waiting to tell them until we tell my parents in-person next month. We'll see if I can hold out.

Hello everyone. Guess I should finally intro since it looks like this is really happening. I was a reg on IF and IFVets leading up to our first pregnancy years ago. This pregnancy was a complete surprise after being told we couldn't get KU on our own! Due date is April 6th and this will be our second child.

Our first, and we thought only, was conceived after years of IF and multiple rounds of IVF. He is 2 and just amazing. We are still in a bit of shock with all of this, but very happy and excited that it's happening.

And I forgot to add, I'm 37 and H is 34, we live in Va and have 2 dogs and 2 cats. Work life is getting interesting for me, I'm a Sommelier, so the next 8 months should prove to be at least a bit challenging!

@pinkshades05 I was not. I finally decided to get my first level of certification after we thought we were done. I've been working for the same restaurant for almost 8 years now, but only running the wine program for a little over a year. My goal is to get my next level of certification by this time next year so I have some time to practice blind tasting after the baby is born.

Hi everyone! So excited this page is open! My husband and I are expecting our 3rd child. EDD is April 20th. Our first born is 8 years old boy Kaden-44 hours of labor 2 hours of pushing and an emergency c section. Our second son Wyatt Nathaniel was delivered at 35 weeks via emergency c section because he had a condition called Hydrops and lived for 2 short days. That was 5 1/2 years ago. We have decided to finally try again. So we are pregnant with our 'Rainbow Baby'! We couldn't be more happy or scared tbh. Looking forward to a smooth pregnancy and scheduled c section. Oh and I totally think this ones a girl! ❤

Hello all. I'm still in total shock but I'll introduce myself in good faith. I have actually moved from the October 2015 board so if you want to do the math my daughter will be 18 months older than this April baby. Oh wow. Kinda on purpose kinda not. Stopped birth control, ovulated 2 weeks later, and pregnant. Sheesh. EDD is 4/17/17. I'm seeing the doctor this Tuesday the 30th. I was semi active on the October board and I'm sure I will be here especially since I have so much knowledge having been a mom for 10 months and all. *please note the sarcasm* every time I learn something about my kid she changes anyhow. It's incredible. I wish you all so much happiness and can't believe I'm on this journey with you again!!

Hi all! So excited to be here! Got my BFP on 8/10 and my EDD is April 23rd. DH is 36 and I'm 37. DS just turned 2 and is the center of our world. Wondering how he's going to react to having a sibling since he's never had to share Mommy and Daddy's attention. Though this will be our second, it's my first time getting involved here at TB (so apologies in advance while I'm learning). You all sound like incredible women who I'm happy to be sharing this experience.

Hi all! I'm due on April 15th. Got my BFP on August 12th. We were trying. Turns out it was pretty easy for us!

I'm 25. I work in an office. Nausea started this week and I absolutely do not want to do anything! I feel useless. Need some motivation!

I'm PGAL but trying to be excited! Probably won't be for several more weeks. I'm 28 and DH is 27. If we carry this one to term it'll be our first! EDD is April 20th but that's based on my calculations, not the doctor's. I'll find out what she thinks Wednesday. BFP date was August 10th.

This may sound crazy but I KNEW the second I conceived this one. Then I knew the moment of implantation as I felt the pinch in my uterus on August 5th. My fingers are crossed we don't lose this one--I would love to carry my anniversary and vacation baby (conceived in a beach house in Georgia haha) and give birth the week before my own birthday! Nice to meet you all.

Moving over from the A15 board and honestly never imagined being on TB this time around! Feels good to be back.

I'm a 27yo mommy of two- 8yo DS and 1yo DD. DH is 31. He does a lot for us and helps with the kids as much as he can. I became a SAHM earlier this year when DD turned 5mo. Baby #3 was a surprise to us but we're very excited! Anybody that knows me knows how much I want this. Im 7w/4d, due April 12th and both DH and decided not to make the announcement until we can no longer hide the bump.

Very cautiously introducing. I'm 35, my H is 38 and we have a 4 year old daughter. I had a loss in March and I'm very nervous about this pregnancy going well. First ultrasound is 9/10. Just counting the days until then.
My due date is 4/30 and my due date with my daughter was 4/29 so if this works out, my pregnancy timeframe will be exactly the same

@dam0ne4 welcome! I also experienced a loss in March and am aware of all the emotions and feelings that you are going through right now. I will keep my Fx for your pregnancy. Also, my due date is 4/29, so my due date is very close to yours.

Hey everyone! Im here from N15! This will be baby #4 for us. Aurora will be 4 next month, Archer is 2 1/2 and Adley is 10 months! This will most likely be out last. I'm a SAHM and DH works in the construction business. We're both 23 but will be 24 by the time our newest addition arrives! I always lurk but usually don't have much time to reply to many posts, but I'll try harder this time around

Hi ladies! Congratulations to everyone who is here (there are a lot of intros to read through)!

I'm with many here and cautious to post. I experienced a missed miscarriage close to 16 weeks in April '15. Since then, I've had two chemical pregnancies. I'm at least past the point that I feel this isn't a chemical pregnancy so that makes me happy. Now I'm hoping these next 11 weeks go very well and I can breathe a little bit.

I'm 32 and my husband is 31 and we have a little boy who is 4 (will be 5 come May). He wants to be a big brother so bad so I pray our little one stays put! I got my positive test 10 DPO on 8/10. I had a weird cycle with a late O day so I'm basing my due date on my O day until my doctor makes a different decision. My due date is April 23 right now. My birthday is the 21st and we also got the terrible news of our miscarriage around that time so I hope to bring some good back into April for us.

I am excited to join this group! DH and I are both 31, and live in Columbus, Oh where I am an HR Manager, and DH is a manager for a big-box retailer. I *think* my EDD is April 24th (based on LMP). Currently breastfeeding DS who turned 1 Aug. 14th, and have only had 1 PP period, so I'm just guessing. BFP Aug 25th after I felt sick all week. We were not exactly "trying" for this one, but are very excited! Sticky vibes to all of you!

Hi Everyone! EDD April 4th, BFP July 22nd (11 DPO). I am 29, my husband is 31 and we have lived in Northern CO for about a year, but prior to that born and raised in NJ. This will be our first (aside from 4 fur babies

). We had our first appointment last week at 8 weeks and everything is looking great but we are keeping it mostly under wraps until 12 weeks, aside from parents, which is so hard!
