FET cycle #3 Transfer July 28th 2016, Triplets born healthy on February 26th 2017 at 33w1d!
Hey everyone! Moving over from the Infertility and the TTCAL board.
I am currently pregnant following IVF/FET with PGS. My betas have been 438 @ 11dp5dt and 1628 @ 14dp5dt. I am scheduled for an ultrasound the week of September 10th. I dealt with secondary IF after having a successful pregnancy in 2014. We had been actively trying since May 2015 with 1 loss in November 2015. After getting some preliminary testing done it turned out we have MFI which was the cause of our difficulty. We did 1 IUI and then moved directly to IVF. This pregnancy is the result of our only PGS normal embryo.
I actually don't have any nausea yet. But in my past pregnancies I really just had to eat constantly. Any carb would usually do! I think my biggest ant-nausea treat in the morning were toasted strawberry Eggo waffles.
Yay @BornReady! So excited to see you join us over here! I hope your LO keeps on growing! Also, you've made me want some strawberry eggos, which I didn't even know were a thing.

Just got my second beta, and it doubled!!! I am so thrilled. I think maybe it is starting to sink in that I'm really pregnant! The nurse said the front office would call tomorrow to schedule the ultrasound. I cannot wait to see my little bean sprout! What an incredible miracle!

@AandDM2014 - so happy those little beans are growing!
@flanners1 - welcome and yay for another potential twin mom!
@babylonghorn16 - you asked on a different board but we put in 2 PGS normal embies.
Happy thursday everybody! I was so good about going for long walks last week, but the last 3-4 days I have had no energy, nauseated (kind of in the background all day), with not much of an appetite. But made some sourdough bread last night and that finally tasted good.

@Happydays13 Thanks! I've been horrid about exercising. I was doing so well, then I had my post transfer bedrest, and I just never started again. Now I feel like it would be such a pain because I'm already having to eat so often that I don't want to burn more calories by exercising. Maybe I'll try prenatal yoga.
Anyone have any prenatal yoga (YouTube links would be awesome) they love to do?

@AandDM2014 I haven't tried a video, but I was just thinking the same thing. Our local yoga studio offers pregnancy yoga once a week. I think it's worth checking into. Currently I've just been taking the dog on a nice 20 to 30 walk. It's nothing strenuous, but everything helps, right? Good luck finding what works for you!

@flanners1 Would you be comfortable telling clients something like, "I'm being monitored for medical treatment over the next two months and can't fly. Don't worry, it's nothing serious, but I want you to know that I will continue to work closely with you via web conferencing, etc. (if that is possible for your job)."?
@AandDM2014 selective reduction seems like a ridiculous option after all you've done to get here, but if it gets to a point where there's a concern for your health or the fetuses, the doctor's recommendation may be for the best. That is a tough decision and I hope you don't have to make it.
Our little bean was dancing around during the US again this week - amazing to see. The past two days my nausea hasn't been as bad - I have eaten some regular food. Yay! I know it can come and go, but I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you all for the tips - I got hard ginger candy to suck on today and it is at least a distraction. And I ordered some ginger snap cookies online too. My RE office said to try a little caffeine with Tylenol for headaches or even an antihistamine is okay.
@mrygoround thanks for the tip, that might work or at least help to keep them calm. I will try to get that certificate as you mentioned @ale9687 , good idea. This is Asia so they tend to ask more questions than in the US or even Europe, but I will just keep a pokerface!
@capps42613 I remember you too. So happy to see your pregnancy has been going well.
@AandDM2014 So happy to hear your u/s went well. Hoping you don't have to make any difficult decisions, but also hoping you don't just "lose" one. Hang in there x
AFM I am freaking out about not having enough symptoms... guess this is the name of the game now.
Me: 38, DH: 40 living in Asia TTC since March 2015 with known PCOS and MIF IVF in 2015. FET nr 3 in 2016 - BFP. Healthy baby girl born in April 2017. Trying for nr 2
It's so funny because I also started research prenatal classes I could take for exercise. I have been walking a little but I want something a little more structured where I can meet other moms. There is also Dancing for Birth. Has anyone heard of that? My husband found it.
@flanners1 Try not to stress about symptoms. Every person is different. For the first week or so, I took a bunch of hpts just to make sure the line was still there. Perhaps that could reassure you until your next visit. I will say that following the messages here, the ladies with fewer symptoms do not have any more complications or problems than those ladies with more symptoms. Hope this helps.

@cmm012 I've not heard of dancing for birth, but if it sounds like something you'd enjoy doing and you can sign up for just one class, I'd say go for it!
@flanners1 Like cmm said, symptoms can come and go and don't really indicate what is going on with your babe. I hope the wait until first ultrasound isn't too bad!
AFM - Once again my stomach has forced me up before 6:30 am. On the plus side, my weight may finally be going in the right direction. I'm up over a pound since Sunday, though still lower than I'd like to be. Doctors and Nurse seem unconcerned where I am, but they weigh me fully clothed after several foods and I weigh me naked first thing in the morning. I hope to continue to see an upward trend! Also, I think I finally have an EDD. For now, we're going to aim for March 3rd, one day shy of 34 weeks.

I am going on a double date tonight with the hubs and our best couple friends. So looking forward to that! Saturday I'm going to rest and take it easy because Sunday is going to be busy. A buddy is having her bday party at a winery. I'm a little concerned about how to play this. I don't really want thirty people knowing I'm pregnant, so I may just offer to drive. I hope there is no pressure to drink. How about you?

@clt2pwm11 the week after my positive beta I went away with 30 members of my family. I told the cousins my age who expected me to be drunk all week that I start another round of treatment when we get back and the doctor advised its best to stop drinking.
