  • In other news, this thread reminded me I want to try Thinx undies. I'm on Day 4 of AF... to purchase immediately or not... that is the question.

Yessss This is me too.  Everyone I've met who has tried them say they love them but I keep being all "but what if I'm KU???" 5 months later...

Aaaaand this is why the Mabis is still in my Amazon shopping cart lol
  • Yikes, you guys.

For the record, my good friend ovulated on CD 7 and has a healthy 4 week old baby now.

    Sorry this is me..

Holy shiz your friend is one of those unicorns who are the reason they always told us it's still not "safe" to have unprotected sex on your period!  That's so early!

There is no need to feel timid about this conversation - I still don't even understand why it got so elevated all the sudden.  It would be cool if @BusinessWife would apologize for or at least own up to perhaps being rude to me... but I'm cool with just letting this fade off into the sunset.

I really enjoy being part of the TTGP community and I don't want things to be all

  • @Everycol0r That's fair enough, and from that perspective, I appreciate your concern.  At the time, I tried to take it in the best way possible and just answer your question the best I could, trying not to take it personally.  And I also didn't tag you when the issue of being butthurt came up, because if it were your question alone, I'm sure it wouldn't have bothered me the way it did.  I'm genuinely sorry that you got that news at your appointment.  Really.  I wish I knew what the crap was going on with my body, because we are already well into testing, and I still have no idea.  I just know that in 15 months and however many cycles, we are still not pregnant.

I guess that's my point is we are really all in the same boat here, more or less; we all have our hearts on the line TTGP.  Some members drop knowledge bombs like, whaaa???!?  And you're just like wow, respect.  We all know that when we see it.  And sometimes "knowledge" gets rubbed in people's faces.  One approach draws people in like, yes, I must have more of this knowledge you possess.  The other pushes people away like, FFS, Sorry I said anything.
I'm assuming the bolded part is targeted toward me.  And I am STILL confused about why.  I genuinely don't know what words of mine you read that you took to be rubbing it in your face.
  • @antoto  No, the bolded really wasn't directed at you.  I'm sorry you took it that way.
  • Mmmmk @BusinessWife I guess I'll take your word for it.
  • @antoto Awesome, I appreciate it.  I think we'd probably both agree, it makes the internet much simpler that way. :D
  • new girl
    Had to.

Anyways I'm over it.  I don't plan on carrying this with me.  Sometimes we will disagree on things - it would be ridiculous to think that wouldn't happen.  Like I mentioned earlier we have a good community here and it makes me really happy to be part of it.
  • @BusinessWife it's all good. I just abhor the thought that anyone would ever think I would try to "jump on them" about anything related to IF. I was only curious in a genuine fashion if it could lead to any issues because typically people only ever focus on "really long cycles" and not so much on really short ones.
