@colleen0516 I'm so sorry you're having a rough day today. Hang in there, you still have a week till beta and plenty of ladies on here have said they didn't have any symptoms during the TWW. Fx this is your cycle.
Ive also had fleeting thoughts about eventually using a surrogate since I'm not sure if my lining will ever be thick enough for implantation and a successful pregnancy. I'm not at the point to seriously think about that road yet but it's in the back of my head as an option just so that I'm not blindsided if it does come to that. It's a tough pill to swallow since yes, the end goal is to have a baby in our arms, but I think all of us also want to experience pregnancy. I hate that we have to feel like our bodies our failing us all the time. Have you talked with your RE about next steps and if/when they would start talking about that option if needed? I had mentioned it to my RE after my first failed FET since she's not sure my lining will ever get thick enough but she said we aren't quite there yet if I didn't want to be since I still have several frozen embryos and we can try other protocols before having that discussion.
@Colleen0516 - don't rule yourself out about symptom checking yet. There is still hope for the cycle, but I do understand your feelings. FX this is your cycle and if not, maybe raise your concerns with your doctor? All the best!
AFM - My test went great today and (major BONUS) rather than wait for my next AF, my doctor is going to let me start on meds today (CD10)! I guess PCOS has done one thing for me and that is provided a long follicular cycle so my lining is still nice and thin. This means a tentative transfer date of 9/15! Holy hell.. this is happening! I'm off the bench guys.
Just letting you all know, from this point forward I'm considering myself graduated and won't be posting over here anymore... you can see my updates on the "Pregnant after IF" boards if you're interested! BUT I will be lurking over here and praying for EACH of you!! I love following your journeys and wish the best for all of you. Keep being strong - you got this! Looking forward to seeing all of you on the "other side"! Lots of love!!

@Colleen0516 I can understand your frustration but don't rule yourself out yet
AFM I'm feeling pressure and pinching in my uterus, but it could be the progesterone so I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high just yet.

@Colleen0516 Sending hugs to you, my friend!! It's hard after so much failure to keep hope alive, but you truly are not out yet! But I also know how much it helps to have a backup plan in place in case of a negative result - that always makes me feel safer somehow. With an unexplained diagnosis (which I have too), it's hard to know WHAT to do sometimes! Definitely plan out some questions to ask your doc just in case. And in the meantime try to do something distracting with your husband or some friends tonight and/or this weekend. When I can immerse myself in distractions, I really do feel so much better. Monday will be here before you know it!
@BornReady Congrats on your second beta! Wishing you all the best!

@elyse1384 yay for PCOS being a good thing for once! We will be transferring the same week! My RE just randomly starts my meds and doesn't wait for or induce AF since I never get it and my lining is ALWAYs nice and thin due to PCOS. When I went for my baseline on Tuesday, I told the Ultrasound Tech that I would have been SHOCKED if she had said anything else but thin!
@mous I know, I am a bipolar mess these days. I just have a lot riding on this round. So it's easy to panic! Thanks for the words of encouragement!
@mtpbadger I'm 100% going to start discussing it. I want to carry a child more than anything, but I want a child way more. So I would consider a surrogate. Not sure if I'm there yet. Need to wait til beta test, and then the results will determine my choices. Lots of researching necessary though.
The only positive thing is, I have been crampy all week. Still am today. Soooo there's hope.

Congrats to al the BFP! I feel like this group is on a roll! I am still reading all of the posts but due to my ohss after my retrieval, I am benched this cycle to let my body fully heal. Then I will start to prepare for my FET once AF appears. We will transfer 1 PGS tested girl. My clinic seems to take forever to prepare for FET...once AF appears it will be 2 months before transfer. Does this seem really long? I feel like many others start so much quicker than my protocol (bcp for 28 days, Lupron, E2 valerate, PIO and then finally transfer). I know 2 months in the grand scheme of things, is t bad but this waiting just stinks!
@Colleen0516 I'm not feeling very hopeful but trying to stay positive. Beta is tomorrow morning, but I really don't *feel* anything beyond PIO symptoms. I think I might test at home before I go in for my blood draw, just to prepare myself. Yesterday, DH and I made a plan for what we will do in case of a negative result. I have some questions for my doctor, but I think we will move into another cycle. It's hard to deal with so many failed cycles, but I just keep hoping that the next one will be The One. But who knows - maybe we will both be surprised and things will work out for both of us this time around!
@jodes727 My clinic does a long protocol for FETs, too. There is a shorter option, but they prefer the longer one. I hope that you can use the time to fully heal and get ready for your transfer!

@jodes727 that does seem long, but i imagine every clinic has a different approach. Ordinarily once insurance approval is in, my clinic goes right into FET cycling. In the past I would wait until my next AF and then begin meds. I just got the nod today to start meds on CD10 before approval given my very thin lining due to PCOS. Sorry I can't be more helpful than that, but I guess it really does just depend. That said, I would honestly got a bit nutty waiting 2 months!
BETA 3 is tomorrow and im hoping we get better news or at least better numbers
Of course today, ive ran to the potty probably 50x's, I feel so nauseous, im crampy (which freaks me out), and my headaches are coming back. Hoping these are a sign that the HCG is rising

@BlueEyedDreamer praying it's a positive beta! If you test, what test you using? I have some cheapies that I'm testing with- not recommended. I think they take longer to register but I can't fathom spending 25 dollars on an other pair of FRER. I swear sometimes I think I should buy stock in the company for how much I spend on them. Are you you crampy at all? I have a crampy feeling and a major headache today. Pretty sure the two don't have anything to do with one another.

@Colleen0516 - I think the cramping is a good sign...don't stress yourself out and I am so hopeful for this cycle for you! Also, when I was testing I was using dollar store brand and found out later their threshold for a positive test is 50 where FRER is 25, so because the doubling time is 48-72 hrs your cheapies may be three days behind, as in they may not be positive until 10-12dpt. So you are definitely not out....maybe stop testing for a few days and give those embies some more time to settle in?
@mtpbadger - I hope that your lining thickens up this cycle, and that you get your sticky bean.
@ADRIANAC1982 - sounds like some good symptoms today! I am wishing you an amazing beta!!
i think, like @babylonghorn16, I am going to move over to the pregnant after IF board...but mostly because I don't want my tickers in the faces of those who are still trying so hard. But know that I'll be lurking! And watching for all of your coming BFPs, especially @caseyw8784 :-)

@jodes727 i am about 2 months for a FET, 1st AF happens while they submit paperwork to IVF center who then sends to insurance, this alone was a 4-5 week process last cycle even tho insurance itself only took 1 week exactly, then i start the FET protocol on CD1 then was 2 weeks to be "ready" and then i had to wait a few extra days for my scheduled transfer date.
Wow! It's really tough to keep up with +50 new posts a day! Maybe we should do single months for future IVF/FET threads... but hopefully most of us won't need future threads anyway!!
I got my meds delivered yesterday. Things are finally starting to feel real. I'm supposed to have my injection training and baseline ultrasound on Monday, but I'm worried things might get delayed. I'm not using BCPs to time my cycle (due to bloodles clot risk), and I'm on cd18 with no + OPK yet (it's always on cd14). Not for sure if we'll forge ahead as planned or how not ovulating this cycle might change things.

@Colleen0516 I've had mild cramps sort of on and off, and it really messes with your head like @lilmissslp was saying! I've had bad headaches this week, but who knows. I'm using Wondfo tests. I have found that they are extremely accurate. I even got a super faint positive at the end of my last cycle (c/p) on the same as my beta, which ended up being less than 5. Plus they are super cheap on Amazon.
AFM, I go in for my beta tomorrow morning. I haven't tested yet but plan to at some point tomorrow so that I know what to expect. Not really feeling any symptoms but trying to stay positive.

@jodes727 Seems long to me too. After my fresh trans was cancelled they said it would be 2 months for the frozen. I couldn't believe it because at the retrieval the dr said 3-4 weeks. When I questioned the length, the nurse took the protocol back to the Drs and came back to me with a new schedule that had me at about 4 weeks. She said the office knows their frozen schedule is out of date and that better offices use a different schedule. She said it was on the board agenda to change it for this month! So I guess I got lucky with timing, because I shaved a month off the wait. If you really can't wait you might be able to push it. I am 41 so every month counts right now.
Before they gave me the news that it was switched I came to peace with the wait. Figured I could use the time to lose a few pounds! Good luck!

For those of you who've experienced this, what did your doc say? The itch is not unbearable so I have a feeling it's no big deal, but should I call my doc? TIA!!
Re: August/September IVF/FET

@jodes727 My clinic does a long protocol for FETs, too. There is a shorter option, but they prefer the longer one. I hope that you can use the time to fully heal and get ready for your transfer!

@Colleen0516 hang in there! Positive thoughts coming your way! Waiting is awful!
Good luck!

Question: I think I remember some of ya'll posting about reaction you've had to certain injections. I've been on my menopure and follistim for several days and just started the cetrotide this morning. I gave myself the shot about an hour ago and now I have a red itchy welt. For those of you who've experienced this, what did your doc say? The itch is not unbearable so I have a feeling it's no big deal, but should I call my doc? TIA!!
