WAYDTGKU: waiting for AF to stop at the moment
R/R: I know CD1 isn't usually met with enthusiasm, but I'm so happy AF finally decided to make her appearance! Now I can finally move on to the next cycle!
CS/Q: not at this time
GTKY: What was your favorite cartoon/TV show as a kid? Thundercats!! My dad would turn it on every day at 4 pm with the volume up and I would come racing downstairs!

WAYDTGKU: BBT, PNV, Coq10, OPK, CM, CP, RRLT, HIO ED.
R/R: So as is usual lately my body confuses the hell out of me. I had some decent EWCM yesterday (but not as much as normal). And my OPK was darkish yesterday afternoon. No EWCM yet today. But my CP is looking good for O. If I pop a + OPK today I might believe this is actually happening at a normal time for me (even though my signs aren't as perfectly lined up as normal). I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much, but if it works out this will be my earliest O since Febraury!
CS/Q: Nadda. Though lately as I'm approaching O, I've noticed a trend of my temps getting higher. Which is weird because I know it's the progesterone after O that increases temps. So it kind of doesn't make sense. But it keeps happening.
GTKY: What was your favorite cartoon/TV show as a kid?
Rugrats!

CS/Q: nope
GTKY: scooby, I also loved mr. Ed, I live Lucy, I dream of genie and Bewitched which seemed to be on a lot?!
ETA: I also loved The Nanny, Boy Meets World, and Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Aaaand Days of Our Lives.
ETA: Ooooh and Golden Girls! Loved Golden Girls!
@BitterBetty12 weird about the rising temps approaching O. I wish I had some science to explain that, but I'm sorely lacking. Hoping for O for you though!
@Nelbetron my uncle is an I Love Lucy maniac, and I would always watch it with him. One of the greatest shows ever IMO!

WAYDTGKU: Temping, OPKs, Preseed, HIO
R/R: We're leaving for a long weekend at an amusement park with DD. She loves rides and I'm really looking forward to this!
CS/Q: I tried a wandfo last night and it was almost positive, but not quite. Today I'm on my 3rd day of flashing smileys on my CB digi ovulation test and the wandfo I just took is much lighter than last night. Did I false surge? Or just miss my surge? Is that possible on the digi? I usually O around CD 16, today is CD 13. FWIW, this is the first time I've ever gotten a flashing smiley, I usually go straight to solid.
GTKY: What was your favorite cartoon/TV show as a kid? Hmmm.... Jem was a definite favorite. I remember watching the cartoon version of Punky Brewster as well (I think that one was pretty short lived).
CD: 3/3
WAYDTGKU: AF should be over today, so HIO EOD starting soon, pnv, charting, temping, checking cp and cm
R/R: Excited that AF is almost over! Ordered cheap opk's online, but they won't be here until Sept 6
CS/Q:I am new to the charting, so no questions yet.
GTKY: What was your favorite cartoon/TV show as a kid? Family Matters
Also, FWIW, most people's LH surges in the afternoon. So when I have an afternoon surge, the next mornings test will look a bit lighter for me, until the afternoon when it darkens up again. Typically this is a 3 day cycle for me where I observe the tests darkening everyday until they are finally +.
If you normally O on CD 16 I wouldn't expect a + until tomorrow at the earliest anyway. Keep testing! Also it 'is' possible for the CBAD to miss your surge. But if the wondfo never went + it's likely you're just not there yet.
ETA more replies
@eggplantface See you on the other side! I'm hoping to follow in 4 days!
@Cait32 Bodies are confusing. FWIW, my EWCM usually starts a few days before the line on the OPK darkens. This is because the surge in estrogen is actually what causes the fertile CM, and also what tells your body to produce LH! So FX it darkens up soon!

WAYDTGKU: Just vitamins, tea, exercise and diet for now. Looks like it is AFs last day!
R/R: My rave is that there is a new restaurant opening tonight in my neighborhood and were going to check it out so I am excited! Excited about having a drink and some apps and excited that there is hopefully another good option in walking distance from our place. My rant is that I called my insurance company and I am only covered up to a diagnosis of infertility and nothing more. I am going to look into DH's coverage and maybe add me in open enrollment if he has coverage depending on what happens with the RE on Monday. Insurance ugh.
CS/Q: Nothing to see here. Move along.
GTKY: What was your favorite cartoon/TV show as a kid? She-ra Princess of Power.... I even had pink cowboy boots that I would wear when I watched it. Actually now that I think about it... this would make a great Halloween costume!
@Scarlett830 Glad you were able to find a solution to ONE nighttime issue at least, and hope you have good results with the Co-Q10 and B6! ;)
@Nelbetron GL getting in that week-day HIO. The struggle is real!
@BitterBetty12 Ooh! Hopefully something good is happening! Cos you're right, I could see maybe signs not totally lining up how you'd like to see, but FX body is still getting back on the rails here... ;)

WAYDTGKU: Back for another folli scan this afternoon...
R/R: Blinkey-smiley Day 4! Although I kind of wanted to just O and be done with it, I won't complain about more time to HIO. ;) Here the doctor who did my scan on Monday and my dominant folli was 1.81 was convinced I would ovulate like, immediately, I think it will be cool if I go in today and she gets to see this giant folli about to rupture, but annoying because if I have to go back in again on Friday, this will just be killing my work week. I have so much stuff that needs to go out, so forgive me if I have to post-and-ghost a bit here...

GTKY: What was your favorite cartoon/TV show as a kid? Hmm... tough to pick a favourite... for cartoons, probably the WB Bugs Bunny ones, cos I am a basic B. For just shows, I loved Bill Nye the Science guy, and Reading Rainbow... But really once I got old enough I loved watching Star Trek with my brother and MacGuyver. lol But your basic Cosby/Family Ties/Fullhouse/Who's the Boss stuff was on a lot too, I feel like.

WAYDTGKU: clomid + trigger, aspirin, progesterone, melatonin, coq10
R/R: very happy about my follicle scan yesterday and also finding out that the progenity testing won't cost us $18,000 like they originally billed out to my insurance. Their cash pay is $95. I had a melt down this week when I got the denial EOB in the mail about that
CS/Q: just trying to figure out what day O goes under if it's right around midnight thanks to when i triggered

R/R: I don't know wtf is going on with my cycle this month
CS/Q: so I always ovulate on day 12, I got a huge temp spike yesterday (day 13) like I always do so I moved on over to the TWW... Well this morning I woke up and my temp is down again. I'm seriously so freaked out, in my entire TTC journey (4 years) I've always ovulated on day 12. Here's my chart if anyone has any input
GTKY: What was your favorite cartoon/TV show as a kid?
the Simpsons!!!!
FX that you o soon!
@tripledaggerWed95976 it's possible that's a fallback rise, and you still did O on CD12. But only time will tell right now. Also do you typically get + OPKs that long before O?
@DungeonTrollMel Thays a ridiculously huge amount of money to see! I hate when you get those EOBs that make your heart race like that. Thank god it's way more reasonable. Also no help about what day O should be. Later so you don't test too early? Is it a matter of when you'll start the progesterone (or are you already taking it?).

Compromise is usually better for the child involved, especially if they're really too young to understand, but unfortunately it seems like you guys need to hash things out with her and really let her know she can't keep crossing the line like this. Court is messy and a pain in the ass, but it sounds like she's unwilling to uphold her end and may need things to progress that far in order for her to get it. Hopefully things get better for you!
@BitterBetty12 Fx for an early O!!
@Nelbetron Are you temping at about the same time every day?
@Scarlett830 Sorry for the lack of sleep, but yay for DS staying dry! And who doesn’t love Golden Girls??
@eggplantface Congrats on the CH! Fx for you!
@mamashan12 What amusement park are you going to? I personally love Cedar Point and it’s only about an hour from me!
@hollyvlewis Boo for opks taking too long to get here! I used to love Family Matters too! In fact, I loved the entire TGIF lineup, I feel like they need to bring it back (or something similar).
@Cait32 Sorry DSS’s mom is being a jerk!
@Saralee797 That was probably my second favorite show!!! I bought a DVD set several years ago that had the best of She-Ra! Sorry your insurance doesn’t cover actual IF treatments L
@BusinessWife GL with the folli scan! I get to work at 7:30 and get impatient to start bumping; so if I think my GTKY is sufficient, I’ll just start up the thread lol.
@DungeonTrollMel Yay for good folli scans!
@tripledaggerWed95976 Wish I could help, but I’m still learning how to interpret charts. Fx that it’s just a fallback rise like @BitterBetty12 said!
@BertieMeetsGertie Yes, Saved by the Bell! And oh, I do miss the incredible TGIF lineup!

R/R: DH is making me angry. We have a big work function with one of our vendors, huge party. Luau, games, river cruise, the works. He said “it doesn’t sound like fun” Really???!! Plus he doesn’t want to leave our kids with either my parents or his parents for the evening. Give me an effing break! Can’t we just have some one on one time? Grrrrr……. On the plus side, I finally was motivated to work out last night after that argument. Had to get out my anger somehow! Really want to get back to working out again!
CS/Q: Nah
GTKY: What was your favorite cartoon/TV show as a kid?
I have so many, but the ones that stick out the most are David the Gnome and Hey Dude
@mamashan12 Have fun at the amusement park! Sounds like fun!
@Cait32 I loved staying home when I was sick and watching Price is Right! Plinko was my fav!
@BusinessWife Yesss MacGuyver! I’m not so sure of this remake though, you?
CD: 36
WAYDTGKU: nothing right now, just waiting on AF to get here
R/R: All my normal signs point to having ovulated already this cycle but I'm now idk what's going on. The Mabis is in my shopping cart for whenever AF decides to show.
CS/Q: Do you get a normal period with an anovulatory cycle? Do you just skip that cycle and typically ovulate like normal for what should be the following cycle and then a regular period?
GTKY: What was your favorite cartoon/TV show as a kid?
Rugrats
@eggplantface - Whoop! Hope you never come back
@Cait32 - sorry dh's ex wife is screwing things up. That totally blows. And open circles are a pet peeve for me. (I get them a lot now because my job has me away some nights and not sleeping like a normal person.) A bunch of lades set a timer to wake up at the same time. Maybe that will help you?
@tripledaggerWed95976 - I think its totally possible you O'ed on CD12. A few more temps will tell a lot.

WAYDTGKU: Everything plus Vit B6, Calcium, and Vitex
R/R: RAVE - Got my thermometers back from the dialing duo so I actually temped today! Trying to get in a good routine while AF is still very much here. RANT - Had the breakthrough bleeding for two days which was way more than what I could refer to as spotting and then practically nothing the past two days. Now, the flood gates have opened. I hate not having a consistent flow. Makes me feel like my body is tricking me. **TW start** Also, I'm having strange pains this cycle that were very similar to how I felt after my D&E so now I'm kind of freaking out about that. **end TW**
CS/Q: not yet
GTKY: What was your favorite cartoon/TV show as a kid? I didn't watch many cartoons but Rugrats is up there. Its actually one of the few happy memories I have with my mom as a kid. Watching Rugrats and Simpsons with her. Price is Right, all the Nick at Night shows like Dick Van Dyke, Mr. Ed, I Dream of Jeanie, etc were all great. I also really liked MTV music videos. I would watch music videos for hours when I was a kid.

@Cait32 My best advise is pick a time that seems reasonable to you to set a soft, early, temping alarm. Late enough that you will have gotten enough sleep prior to temping, but early enough that perhaps that could be your set time to get up and pee. Maybe 4 or 430? 3:30??? I set mine for 5 to get up at 530, but on the odd day I wake up at 430 and have to pee, I will hold it as long as I can at try to temp say closer to 445, 5AM if possible, or even hold it right till the correct temping time, depending on when I woke up, just because PRETTY CHART!!! IF I were to get up crazy early like 330, I might still temp (but rather, just try to stay in bed and send DH for whatever it is like the dogs), just make a note of it, and then take my temp and the real time and make a call, but likely just use the "real" time especially if I managed not to actually get out of bed. If I didn't get out of bed, I don't temp in the middle of the night, just try to fall back asleep and wait for the alarm.
Point is, different wake-times just makes for such a hassle. You could try to drink more of your fluids early in the day so you don't have to get up and pee at 2AM or whatever, if possible. You could also try to set your temping alarm for whenever you think you'd like to reasonably get up and pee and train your body to wake up naturally at that time, temp, pee, and go back to bed. I dunno, but bottomline is lots of open circles just make temping more stressful, not less. Setting a temping alarm, while it may seem like it's this big deal, it's really just so much simpler that way.
Also, try not to stress/worry about how long your cycle usually is or how long your LP will be if this or that. Cycles are regular until they are not. There is literally NO WAY of knowing how long your LP will be for a given cycle, (unless someone has a crystal ball), and no reason to think that if you O later it will suddenly be short. Cross that bridge when you get to it. ((hugs))
@DungeonTrollMel Yay! So glad to hear about that testing! Phew! I would have been freaking out too lol That was like then I was scheduling my HSG and the hospital Radiology dept ALONE wanted $1,800 CASH UP FRONT. Oh, Hell's no! Luckily when the doctor saw that, he called me up himself and offered me the in-office saline sono SHG for like $224 TOTAL and we still got a good look that there's no polyps or anything and, "at least unilateral tube patency." For now, for the price, I'll take it! lol
@BitterBetty12 and @BertieMeetsGertie FX for an O soon for all of us!

@Becky012016 Unless you were having a very long cycle with a late O, you would still get AF at some point, without having ovulated, and then the next cycle would start over like normal. Bodies are weird. Hope you get some answers soon... (((hugs)))
@BitterBetty12 Hope you are gearing up to O soon!
@Scarlett830 The Nanny! I forgot about that show!! Loved it. Also, hope those new vites help you out. I am taking them too.
@eggplantface Buh Bye!! Good Luck!!
@mamashan12 Hope you are gearing up to O very soon! You might have multiple surges every month but only time will tell on that. Keep monitoring.
@BusinessWife I love MacGuyver!!
@Nelbetron @Cait32 Only way to avoid those open circles is to temp at the same time everyday. For me, I set an alarm at 5:55 everyday because that is the earliest I am usually waking. Sometimes I temp and go back to sleep. Sometimes I get up. You are really looking for trends in your temps anyway so as long as you can see a temp shift it might not matter for FF. However, I wanted to really get an accurate picture so I temp at the same time every. damn. day. (except for AF)
@DungeonTrollMel Glad you dodged a bullet with that insurance issue! and awesome news on your scan!
@tripledaggerWed95976 Either you are having a weird cycle or it could be a fallback rise... only time will tell so try and stay calm!!
@BertieMeetsGertie Have fun at the beach!!

@BitterBetty12 - fx you get a + OPK! Good luck.
@eggplantface - Yay for CH! Ff does seem to change it once in a while, I don't get it either.
@cait32 - sorry about DSS's mom...that's super frustrating. Really good of you two to keep it as civil as possible even when she's being tough.

@DungeonTrollMel - I would have a heart attack if I saw that price tag with none of it covered!

R/R: I got another TOU violation for my "language". Apparently using "bitter ___________ club woman" as a describing phrase because I couldn't remember her username is a big no-no. If I get banned for this post I'll see ya'll on the other side

GTKY: What was your favorite cartoon/TV show as a kid? I liked a lot of weird random shows when I was young. When I was around 9 Alf was a favorite, then a little older it was Dr Quinn Medicine Woman and all the TGIF shows; Full House, Family Matters, etc.

R/R: Rave - my OPK's should be here today! Thank goodness! I'm pretty sure with my EWCM I had this morning I am gearing up for O within the next 48 hours. Rant - Last night we had some severe weather and my 3 year old hates storms. We didn't get to BD, so it will be imperative tonight.
Also, the bump Gods are working on getting me my easier screen name back. No one wants to reply to any of my questions and I can't say I don't blame them for not wanting to type out this horrible name. Since I have been a member for so long, my account was having issues getting transferred over to the new format. They said they needed a little bit more time. So I will be going back to AvidVertigo as soon as I possibly can.
