  • @lulu1180 normally I'd say sorry for CD1 but since you're glad AF is here, hooray for a new cycle!

@BitterBetty12 weird about the rising temps approaching O. I wish I had some science to explain that, but I'm sorely lacking. Hoping for O for you though!

@Nelbetron my uncle is an I Love Lucy maniac, and I would always watch it with him. One of the greatest shows ever IMO!
  • Hi guys- I've unfortunately moved myself back over here.
    Month/Cycle: 2/3

    CD: 14

    WAYDTGKU temping, OPK, preseed

R/R: I don't know wtf is going on with my cycle this month

CS/Q: so I always ovulate on day 12, I got a huge temp spike yesterday (day 13) like I always do so I moved on over to the TWW... Well this morning I woke up and my temp is down again.   I'm seriously so freaked out, in my entire TTC journey (4 years) I've always ovulated on day 12.   Here's my chart if anyone has any input

GTKY: What was your favorite cartoon/TV show as a kid?
    the Simpsons!!!!
  • @BitterBetty12 thanks, I really appreciate the reply. *tw* This is the first time I've used wandfos, and I feel like my cycle had been slightly different since my loss, so this all feels very new to me.

    FX that you o soon!
  • @bitterbetty12 no, I usually always get positive OPKs on CD 11 only.  I don't know WTF is going on this cycle.  I'm so worried now.   I really hope it's a fallback rise!!!
  • @BitterBetty12 I start progesterone Sunday regardless

  • @mamashan12  You could just be having a longer surge.  I'm on day four of blinkie smiley, not sure what the longest I've had that was, but I was totally expecting to wake up to Peak today.  So if I get Peak tomorrow or the next day, fine whatever.  Just keep HIO - I've never had it not Peak, but I think the package instructions caution that it may not happen if you get more than 7 days flashing.  You're totally okay, just give it time. ;)

@Cait32  My best advise is pick a time that seems reasonable to you to set a soft, early, temping alarm.  Late enough that you will have gotten enough sleep prior to temping, but early enough that perhaps that could be your set time to get up and pee.  Maybe 4 or 430?  3:30???  I set mine for 5 to get up at 530, but on the odd day I wake up at 430 and have to pee, I will hold it as long as I can at try to temp say closer to 445, 5AM if possible, or even hold it right till the correct temping time, depending on when I woke up, just because PRETTY CHART!!!  IF I were to get up crazy early like 330, I might still temp (but rather, just try to stay in bed and send DH for whatever it is like the dogs), just make a note of it, and then take my temp and the real time and make a call, but likely just use the "real" time especially if I managed not to actually get out of bed.  If I didn't get out of bed, I don't temp in the middle of the night, just try to fall back asleep and wait for the alarm.

Point is, different wake-times just makes for such a hassle.  You could try to drink more of your fluids early in the day so you don't have to get up and pee at 2AM or whatever, if possible.  You could also try to set your temping alarm for whenever you think you'd like to reasonably get up and pee and train your body to wake up naturally at that time, temp, pee, and go back to bed.  I dunno, but bottomline is lots of open circles just make temping more stressful, not less.  Setting a temping alarm, while it may seem like it's this big deal, it's really just so much simpler that way.

Also, try not to stress/worry about how long your cycle usually is or how long your LP will be if this or that.  Cycles are regular until they are not.  There is literally NO WAY of knowing how long your LP will be for a given cycle, (unless someone has a crystal ball), and no reason to think that if you O later it will suddenly be short.  Cross that bridge when you get to it.  ((hugs))

@DungeonTrollMel   Yay!  So glad to hear about that testing!  Phew!  I would have been freaking out too lol  That was like then I was scheduling my HSG and the hospital Radiology dept ALONE wanted $1,800 CASH UP FRONT.  Oh, Hell's no!  Luckily when the doctor saw that, he called me up himself and offered me the in-office saline sono SHG for like $224 TOTAL and we still got a good look that there's no polyps or anything and, "at least unilateral tube patency."  For now, for the price, I'll take it! lol
  • @slam1110  https://www.flickeringmyth.com/2016/05/first-trailer-for-cbs-macgyver-reboot/  Wut.  I can't.

@Becky012016 Unless you were having a very long cycle with a late O, you would still get AF at some point, without having ovulated, and then the next cycle would start over like normal.  Bodies are weird.  Hope you get some answers soon... (((hugs)))
  • @laurad75  That's tough.  Time will tell honestly, not what anyone wants to hear.  But try to use the search and get more info on CM.  Even just noting the difference between Dry/ C or S for Creamy or Sticky just pick one / and E or W both count as fertile in FF so just pick one for now - that would give you more data to go off of.  I'm not sure all those high readings are super-meaningful after 7 in a row.  Check the package directions and/or keep using cheapies if the digis are not helpful for a particular cycle.  See what happens, because it's totally possible, but hard to say with any certainty based on the information that's in your chart.
  • @BusinessWife Thanks. I have read all the stuff on identifying CM and I just don't see it even if I'm (TMI) digging around up there.  Its not dry but its not creamy.  I gave up on the digitals and wondfos just give me a faint line.  I hate this cycle.

  • @businesswife; thank you so much for the response! We purposely waited to actively try until my cycles were more normal. We did 3 months of ntnp and of course AF came within a day of the previous month and now that we're actively trying I'm having an abnormal cycle (and a bfn, hence why I'm in wto waiting for AF). Thanks again!

R/R: RAVE - Got my thermometers back from the dialing duo so I actually temped today!  Trying to get in a good routine while AF is still very much here.  RANT - Had the breakthrough bleeding for two days which was way more than what I could refer to as spotting and then practically nothing the past two days.  Now, the flood gates have opened.  I hate not having a consistent flow.  Makes me feel like my body is tricking me.

The period memes at least taught me I'm normal :) Although the misogyny in some of them makes me super sad...
