R/R: IHOP had dollar pancake night last night so we fed the fam for $3! I hope the coworker drama is resolved but somehow it might not be yet, it took up my entire lunch hour dealing with it yesterday.

CS/Q: not much to stalk yet

GTKY: What is your favorite season and why? Thats tough... probably summer ultimately because I love being outdoors and going swimming. but the first flowers of spring and the buds on the trees are so hopefull, and I love leaves crunching under my feet.. I don't mind winter as long as the roads are plowed...

WTF for how slow this week is going. Could be that I am looking forward to my Mirena removal tomorrow though I am not really sure.

...And I will seriously WTF if my husband opens the package I ordered from amazon after telling him not to. I don't want him opening it because I ordered a bib and some pacifiers don't need him telling me I am moving too fast. He just doesn't get it. I told him to get a uterus then he can talk to me about such things.

WTF to my DH who has to get up before me on Wednesday and lets his alarm continue to go off while hes already up, with our bedroom lights on, getting ready while I try to get my last 10 minutes of sleep while a toddler is climbing all over me, kicking me, kneeing me, elbowing me, and grabbing my face.....

I may or may not have lost my cool and threw his phone at him from across the room...

WTF underwear! You're tiny strips of cloth that are glued together. Why are you so damn expensive? And why do you say you're XL then when you arrive you're clearly only fitting a small child? Why don't you understand big butts need underwear too?

@lmc929 H's alarm goes off every morning an hour before mine. Then he snoozes. Then he gets up after reading his phone for 20 minutes and has to call the dog after him. Then I get about 10 more minutes of sleep. I think bad thoughts about him at those moments.

@lmc929 and @eggplantface you both make me feel spoiled. My husband gets up every day before me. He has an alarm that goes off at 5:10 then again at 5:20 (which is super annoying), however he spoils me by getting dressed via the little bit of light that comes into our room via the hallway and is super quiet.

I trained him well, muahahaha

@eggplantface Piggybacking on what you said about underwear being so expensive.... my underwear drawer is filled with my free undies from Victoria Secrets from when they sent out coupons. Now that I think of it, WTF VS? Where have my coupons been? We both know I can't afford to spend that much $ on undies.

Also, DH has an alarm set for 6:10 am to go to work. During the school year, we both have to get up at the same time. He gets up with no problem, I need to snooze and need to be shoveled out of bed. However, since I am on school vacation, I am up for the day when his alarm goes off.because I am just up... WTF?

My WTF is to my school requiring my new SS card before changing my name in the system. I have the paperwork saying it's on the way along with my marriage certificate. My school changed some stuff, but the district didn't yet for all of the official online / insurance things. And I also need the SS card to go to the DMV and change to DH's insurance. So now everyone is getting an introduction letter in the online portal with my maiden name and then I have to explain that they need to use my married name when school starts. And WTF to now having people screw up the spelling of both my first and new last name (because it's two words)!!! Yes, I have 4 As and 5 Ls! Don't take one out because it "doesn't look right" to you. My maiden name went so well with my first name that it helped anyone who paid attention to the last name pronounce the first name. Now forget it. Between that and having 4 sisters, I'll answer to anything because people don't even listen when I correct them!

Ohhhh ladies! DH is the reason I temp at 5 am (even in summer and on weekends) when I don't have to get up until 6 for work. He works at the firehouse 2 shifts a week and landscapes 2-3 days a week. He puts up with the beep because I put up with having him wake me up to say goodbye. Guess it's good training for waking up with babies in the future.

@lmc929 @eggplantface We should form a support group for those with DHs who abuse their alarm clock snooze rights. Theoretically I get to sleep 45 min after DH but that never happens cause he is a giant man child who can never get up when the alarm goes off the first time

@NYTino24 changing your name is literally the biggest hassle in the world. I do not envy you.

Coming over from that delightful drive by post earlier today, WTactualF is a homemade pregnancy test and do people really think that they are a legit thing?! I suppose I could fire up the Google and see what ridiculousness is out there but I feel like that would raise more questions than answer.

My bumping skills lack in this category, so I'm just going to say that @riversong15 mentioned the banning, and @snobunniemel 's friend @dungeonTrollMel checked in to let us know that "As as to her whereabouts, that is a giant mystery. She got 2 bans from that one thread and was very well behaved after that. This came out of no where. Thankfully she had friends waiting to help her out."

@Becky012016 I feel the same way right now! I've gotten 2 BFNs (12 & 15 DPO) and have been having mild to moderate cramps since Saturday afternoon but still no sign of AF. I just want to know where I belong right now!

People in that link seem to think it's real, but then are all "I got the result that means I'm pregnant so am I pregnant?" ...if you weren't going to trust the result, why would you do it in the first place? I just...I need another SMH gif...

I feel so helpless when I see these bans. It really rattles your faith in this community when valuable community members who are so supportive and knowledgeable get banned but a certain someone who said quite literally the most horrifying thing I've read on these boards did not.

So I guess that's my WTF for today!

Could noobs who aren't reading the TOU and getting flamed be using the "Report" button as a "Dislike" button and getting our beloved regs banned? And TB gods are more concerned with ad revenue and butthurt noobs feeling welcomed than with providing real, science-based information in an honest, straight-forward manner?

@eggplantface there's a pretty good chance that is what's happening. my WTF is why can't people just spend their 3 days reading the rules? If you lurk for 10 minutes, you'll see that you can't post pee sticks or ask if you're pregnant. 10 minutes in 3 days is not that much time.

No one would be getting banned if people read the rules, obeyed the rules, and didn't hurt other members' feelings intentionally.

I am going to jump in and commiserate with the ladies whose H's wake them up with their alarms. Mine does it every morning! He will get in the shower and his alarm will still be going off. This morning he had the day off and could therefore sleep in. He set his alarm for 7, rolled over and started talking to me about what he was going to do today. Let Me Sleep!

Other than that, I'm going to WTF about the fact that even though I went to bed early last night, I could sleep for days!

@eggplantface That must be it. It's crazy to me that they would ban without reading the content of the posts, though - especially when people like @AliciaGoose were on the sidebar as having the most "points" that week.

@Westy99 I feel especially put out because I only joined in June. So I straight up KNOW how easy it is to lurk before posting, and how you have to! Why would you even want to join a community without lurking first? It doesn't make sense!

I came home from a long day at work only to see that a pipe burst in our kitchen. The entire kitchen and living room (since it is open floor plan) were flooded about 2-3 inches deep with water. It even extended into the dining room, which has carpet that consequently was drenched and needed to be torn up. We rent, but the landlord/owner will not be in town until Monday. Several hours and two trips to Home Depot later, I have to wonder if the week I am having is some kind of joke that I'm not in on.

@magnolia131 Oh no! That really sucks. I remember in high school the pipes in our bathroom burst in the middle of the night and drenched the hallway carpet. The landlord didn't want to pull up the carpet at first so they had these industrial sized fans that blew all day and night for like three days. Then they ended up replacing the carpet anyway when my mom complained of smelling mold.

My WTF is for my brain. I'm only 4 DPO and there's a part of my brain that's like "look at all these things we're feeling. You're totally KU!" And then another part is like "what's wrong with you? You know that's not how this works!" And they sides have been arguing all day and I'm tired and I just realized that made me sound a little mental but oh well I'm keeping it ok bye.

@meilay You don't definitely do not sound mental. Last month I was for certain that my tiredness and small bouts of nausea were due to me being knocked up. Never mind I was recovering from jet lag. My head has internal battles all day long. The struggle is real.
