  • Sex has been pretty consistent at 1x weekly. It was more in the beginning of my pregnany. I couldn't get enough but now I'm surprised I even want it at all with SPD. The only position that seems to work right now is laying on my side with DH behind me. Really missing all the fun positions but it's better than nothing!
  • Last night was the first night in our entire relationship that I denied sex to FI.
I was just feeling so uncomfortable and the BH were kinda painful.
Usually I would give him a BJ and call it a day but I didn't even feel like doing that...

Wah I'm worried about losing my drive

  • @Megan324 Why would you think not wanting to do anything one time will mean you will lose your drive? We are so close to the end that I think this is bound to happen when it gets uncomfortable. Stay positive, my friend! :) You will want to give him a BJ again! LOL

  • @blondie080300 because I over react loll.

I'm nervous in general about how sex is going to change after the baby so a change before baby made me nervous.

  • Awwww. Yeah I can totally relate to wondering how sex will change after baby @Megan324 . I have a pretty high drive normally so the idea of it going away or not being pleasurable after baby is def no fun to think about. So I choose to not stress about that now and just do what I can to get back in the saddle when I feel ready. And if I don't feel ready when physically we are allowed to, then it's time to get help! Being self-aware is a good thing though!

  • @Megan324 aww I wouldn't feel bad, you are doing great if that's the first time you've said no, you're about to pop out a baby!!! I also worry how things will change so totally get you there, but think things will return to normal or reach a new and different "normal".....

This is my experience after having a baby. It won't go back to how things were before, but you'll be at a new "normal". It's not bad; just different. I have a high sex drive, too, and we did slow down after DD1 was born, but it's not something you notice all that much with all the things going on with the baby.

  • We finally tried and it was super painful and I had to stop :(
