We are all going through stressful changes and it's so nice to be pampered and helped out. Brag away! We have amazing SO and they deserve it!

What have they done to help you out? What sweet things have they done to show you they love you? Everything else- let's hear it!

My husband has been amazing!

I bought him a book (the expectant father) he loves it! When I got home after being gone for the weekend he started asking me questions ie; how are you feeling? Are you having any food aversions? are you drinking enough water and getting enough fruits and veggies? And for the win... "are your nipples getting darker?" hahaha. I just thought it was so cute how interested he was all of the sudden.

AND! Last week, I got home from work on his day off.. He had cleaned the entire house, washed and folded ALL the laundry, put up a rod and curtains on a window we have wanted curtains on for a good two years, and organized our closet. Seriously? How did I get so lucky??

DH has been a saint mostly. He's been doing all my dishes, cooking (for himself mostly as I've had little appetite), doing all the laundry, and not complaining at all. Also, no BD in weeks and no pressure or even asking about it.

My husband has been amazing through all of this (including 2 years of trying).

Last night I got home and he had finished all the laundry, cleaned the kitchen, put all the trash on the curb, and for bonus points he had already started the dinner I had been craving all day.

@SDSwenson - I bought that book for my dh too! He seems to like it - he hasn't asked about my nipples though. hahaha

My SO has been pretty great. He has been cooking dinner pretty much every night for the last 3 weeks and last night he made a delicious meal that he had been prepping for 2 days (marinating, etc.) however, when it came off the grill, the smell was revolting to me and I didn't want any of it. He was completely understanding and asked if there was something else he could make me. LOVE THAT MAN

Yesterday my husband came home from work early to mow the lawn (usually my job), then made himself dinner and popcorn for me, and cleaned up the kitchen without being asked. THEN he agreed to watch Murder She Wrote instead of one of the shows that we both like.

Love this!!

My husband has been amazing. Yesterday I had the pregnancy brain (I swear!) and used our joint card instead of my personal card to buy shoes and a shirt and he told me he'll cover them as a "pregnancy gift". He's also just been really great about giving me what I need, which is mostly backrubs and cooking himself dinner so I can go to bed early. Except tonight I'm really craving red meat so I'm making him take me out for burgers.

And he is also noticing my nipples getting bigger and darker, but calling me torpedo boobs is not a helpful thing he is doing.

My H is working the overnight shift this week so that means he has to sleep during the day. It also means I have the car. I've been really wanting to take my son to a barnyard zoo about an hour away so finally did today. H got up halfway through his sleeping to let the dogs out and then took them on a walk too since they wouldn't settle after that. And when I got home, he was just happy for me that we got out of the house and wasn't annoyed at all. He also cleaned the bathroom yesterday right before going into work since I was feeling crappy. I'm a pretty lucky gal.

Love this thread! My husband has been so understanding of my lack of energy aka not doing hardly any housework the last week. And last night as he was driving home through rush hour traffic, curious to know about what I wanted for dinner, he was so supportive as I cried and said "I'm too nauseous to eat, but I feel really hungry but nothing sounds good. Except ice cream". Guess who showed up with Sprite and ice cream a short while later

I'll brag on my handsome hubs. Even when I'm not pg he does most of the cooking and as much, if not more, of the house work. He's super hands-on with our DD.

Now, if only there were a way I could get him to actually birth this human...

I did just finish posting in the SO is an a--hole post, but in all seriousness he has been really great. Especially with letting me get extra sleep without criticizing me for going to bed early or leaving him with DS for a while so I can get some rest. I'm still exhausted, but every little bit helps.

I agree with @leslieknope. I wish he could carry this child!

Mine has been helping more with dishes and laundry. Plus, he made dinner the other night, which was nice. We're also in the process of buying our first house and move in next week. He's been good about helping pack and he won't let me move much next week. This means I get to hang out at the new house and unpack next week, which is awesome because it has central AC and our current house has no AC!

Dh got up this morning and got my prenatal vitamins and packed my bag with water and a snack for work. I mentioned buying new maternity clothes and he said, well of course you deserve new clothes, it's a new baby.... Can I get this part in writing?! Dh actually telling me to go spend some money on clothes is a first for sure haha! He was probably just out of it since it was 7am but @SDSwenson 's gif perfectly describes how I felt

This whole thread is great. Mine has been really helpful with toddler DD while I'm curled up in a nauseated ball. She prefers him anyway, though.

I love this thread! Aside from asking me if my symptoms were in my head, he has been wonderful. He has taken on so much of the housework including making dinners, cleaning dishes, grocery shopping, and yard work, all while renovating our basement by himself. This is on top of dealing with my pain in the ass self.

I was actually thinking of going out to buy him something small just to show him my appreciation.

My husband is awesome because he's been working his ass off and finally got a much needed promotion! Plus he picks up the slack around here because this baby is kicking my ass. Plus at the end of the day I have zero energy for laundry after taking care of my 9 month old and I babysit my friends 3 month old. Speaking of which he is about to tell her that she needs to find someone else to watch her baby because I'm barely keeping up with my son. I love my husband.

I went to the movies with my BFF tonight. Came home to find my DH had cleaned the house top to bottom!!! I couldn't believe it. I especially appreciate it because my crazy MIL is coming over tomorrow to watch DS. Now I don't have to frantically clean before she gets here!!!

DH has been phenomenal! He's been keeping up with the dishes and laundry, and won't let me do anything but cook - primarily because he can't. When I told him I could help so he's not doing EVERYTHING, he said it was the least he could do considering it's my job to grow our kid.

@GG620 He yelled "Bombs away!" when I took off my bra last right. He is way too amused by this.

But he also took me to Red Robin for burgers last night (and we never go out to eat) so I'll give him a pass.

Jeez our cat threw up in our bedroom at 2:00 in the morning. DH jumped out of bed and cleaned it right up. I haven't been sleeping well and he didn't want me to worry about it.

My Husband has been amazing! He gives me back rubs every night and does the dishes after supper! He even let my dog sleep in the bed between us because he knows I like to cuddle with him haha!

He also gets me water in the middle of the night and makes sure that I am comfortable when we are relaxing on the couch...small things but they make a HUGE difference!

Alright, so I've gotta brag on my Boo some, too. Now that he "gets" this whole parenting gig, he is all in 1000%. Not that he wasn't in before, he just didn't understand a lot until DS arrived. He is super patient when I'm irrational, gets me Dairy Queen when I need it, and is absolutely amazing with taking care of DS. I used to have to ask him to do everything, which became really exhausting. I'm really proud of the man he has become thanks to fatherhood.

@smallanimal, DH has started to do this when he leaves for work. Melts my heart. He gives a kiss to DS, a kiss to me, and then a kiss on my tummy. Love it!

DH has been absolutely incredible. He has taken on all of the housework and most of the cooking these past couple of weeks because I have just had zero energy. This morning, he made me tamales with an over easy egg on top because he knows it's my favorite even though he HATES eggs. I was so blown away
