@LadyMillil I have had a similar issue with UPS. I pretty much refuse to order anything if it is going to be shipped through them.
@Scarlett830 Happy to hear that things are going well!
@BusinessWife and @Daisy627 Good luck today!
Month/Cycle: 3/4

WAYDTGKU: just vitamins for now until AF is done
R/R: Eh, not really anything for today.
CS/Q: We have been taking a more laid back approach to TTC so far, but I am looking to begin with OPKs either this cycle or next. Would you ladies say the Clear Blue Digital OPK is worth it, or are the Wondfos just as good? I feel like I have heard the pros and cons for both, so I was hoping to get some real life opinions.
GTKY: What three items are Always in your purse?
My purse is kind of a black hole, so I am always finding some random crap in there. However, at any given time I will always be able to find lotion, old mail, and lipstick (which is funny considering I hardly even wear it...)
WAYDTGKU: trying to temp, hio eod, looking for cm, which seems to be non existent... which is really odd for me cd12... this is usually prime time! Haha
R/R: not a whole lot... working from home today and slept in, and it was spectacular
GTKY: If you had asked me 7 years ago, there would have been a fifth of rum and shot glasses if I was going out on the town! But now that I've settled down... I always have chapstick and lipstick (I like putting chapstick then lipstick, lipstick goes on a lot smoother that way), gum, sometimes mascara, my ID for work (looks like a mugshot haha), and sunglasses and Bobby pins. I like to leave hair scrunchies laying around throughout the house instead of my purse... it gives my dh something to complain about. (Totally jk about that one)
Thanks for all the well-wishes! <div class=" Spoiler"> Procedure went okay. He saw fluid pooling on the right, as well as the left, so should be an indicator that both tubes are open, or at least he seemed more confident about the right, but okay cool. He saw about 12 or so immature follicles getting ready, but not the volume you expect with PCOS? So he thought it could just be a good sign of healthy ovarian reserve? Woohoo!? Who knows.</div> @KhRun17 So funny story. DH had to be on site extra early today, so SA timing was not going to work afterall. He said he does still want to get it overwith, but so we'll try for after FW. Cool. I call to cancel the, "appointment," only to find out, j/k THEY DONT ACTUALLY DO THE SFA THERE!!! You've got go be freaking kidding me. They gave me the number of a private lab I can call, but seriously. Wtf, ppl.
I can't remember who asked, but I had the SHG, in-office with saline and ultrasound.
<div class=" Spoiler">He made a point not to use the gel, since that can be bad for sperm. And he's all, we should really have Preseed here! Lol. My follicle went from 1.81 yesterday to 1.94, so that's cool. The only uncomfortable parts were blowing up rhe little balloon, bc ypur cervox is a strong-ass muscle and it's pushing back! But the doc yesterday said my cervix still seemed pretty closed, so that alone could be helpful, like okay cervix, ypure supposed to be OPEN! Ok. Inje ting the saline was unpleasant as well, but we reakly just did it in a couple devent pushes, and he saw what he needed to see, and then we were done. But you can literally feel the cramping of the uterine muscle pushing back against the saline, so it's uncomfortable, but not painful oer say. I also took 800mg ibuprofen, and I really feel fine right now.</div> So bang a gong!!! <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/5020794/uploads/editor/ve/6qrm4dr0qtq4.gif" alt="">
FW is ON!
@tripledaggerWed95976 FWIW, a coverline is not a real scientific piece of data. It's really just a visual guideline for your eye, with no clinical significance whatsoever. You can basically drop it in whereever it looks good to you, whatever helps you see the temp shift. So I don't want to say it's totally arbitrary, but it KINDA is .. ;)
@pretzel2plus1 Mucinex is to help get cm flowing, and maybe the B6 as well. I'm not sure how, but I think the B6 also plays a role in cycle regulation. My vitamin D was also on the lowish side, so I added 2000 iu as well. I would have to do more ressearch to find out about the specific mechanisms tho.... :/
@BitterBetty12. I recommend the Ovaboost, but there's also 2000mg inositol in there, so it might be less expensive to even just try adding 2g /2x daily inositol, if that's the main ingredient. But there's also L-carnitine and some other things in there, so not sure what's doing what, but *something* I've been doing is definitely helping me O earlier / possibly "stronger."
@BusinessWife Glad to hear everything went well today!

GTKY: What three items are Always in your purse? Wallet, phone, and sunglasses
@laurad75 Oh, the neverending blinking smiley face of death. Ok, that's an exaggeration, but it can be the bane of your existence. CM is a better indicator that you're actually having an estrogen surge. And I'm not saying this is the case for you, but when I had six days of blinking smiley and never a +OPK I was having an anovulatory cycle. The good news is Wondfos are cheap!
@BusinessWife I ranted in a previous WTO thread that my RE charged $30 for a pregnancy test, and if I ever have to have another HSG or saline I'm going to beg them to let me take a pregnancy test at home so they don't charge me $30!! I'll bring them the damn stick to prove it! I'm glad it went well you're ready to get back to bangin'!
@mamashan12 I agree you didn't ovulate yet. You're looking for an overall temp rise, not a single-day dip or rise. I get super low temps on mornings after I take Xanax to sleep because I sleep more soundly. And of course, the high temp after a night of drinking...
@Westy99 Brazilian wax. Scorched earth. If you're not into the bald look, a bikini wax is much less painful (when she does the sides it doesn't hurt much at all. But the middle...there's the ouch). Tend Skin is also great to prevent red bumps. It exfoliates. My waxer said to prevent bumps keep the area clean and exfoliated, and don't put lotion on it. And Tend Skin is easy to use.
@slam1110 I don't think you ovulated. There's not a distinct shift in the temps to a higher cluster. You do have a lot of open circles that can throw it off though.

R/R: H was able to get the job done last night! I'm expecting to O today so we'll try again tonight, but even if he can't finish tonight we'll at least have yesterday. The key seems to be how much *I'm* into it, because he said if I treat it like I just need his "seed" then he can't do it. I have to be passionate about it. Point taken.
CS/Q: Let's delve into my BSC, shall we? I have a question about exercise. I take classes at the gym that are high intensity and high impact. I have an irrational concern that when I do high impact moves during the FW I'm going to "dislodge" the sperm or make the egg/embryo "knock against" the fallopian tube and break apart before it even has a chance to implant. This is crazy, right? I've read that it's perfectly fine, but I can't help but worry. Do you guys continue the high impact exercise or take a break? FWIW I've been doing the high intensity/high impact stuff for four years.

CS/Q: Has anyone had their follicular phase lengthen after starting CoQ-10? I also stopped drinking my daily Mighty Aphrodite tea (which has red raspberry leaf in it), so maybe that is affecting my cycle too.
GTKY: What three items are always in your purse? Apart from the obvious (wallet, phone, keys), my Kindle, Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream (best lip balm ever) and an umbrella (I'm from Scotland and now live in Vancouver )
@Saralee797 Ditto. My FitBit and hairband are my usual wrist accesories
@luckywife10 Aww - that's lovely that you got to hang out with your best friend. Mine is coming here for a work trip, so I'm counting down the days to next weekend!
@eggplantface What are we talking here?? Kickboxing? Plyo stuff? I've heard of no contact sports but not anything else but now I'm like should I go to kickboxing tonight? lol
@BusinessWife Ah I'm really happy to hear that things went well! And thanks I'm going to look into it. I am REALLY worried about the *strength* of my ovulation right now. Between the late O and low progesterone and short LPs I'm having (and my loss) I'm having some concerns. I have a new OB appointment next week though so I'm excited to maybe get some answers from her. I'm hoping she'll want to do some more tests because things are really iffy right now and I'm not digging it.

@delujm0 girl, you are me a week ago. Except I am using OPKs and got a false surge so that didn't even mean anything. So awesome. This month is the latest I've o'd yet and I knowwwww there's no normal but seriously, why couldn't we just have nice neat 28 day cycles? I don't have any real advice to offer but just wanted to say I totally get you on this and how frustrating it is.
@eggplantface What are we talking here?? Kickboxing? Plyo stuff? I've heard of no contact sports but not anything else but now I'm like should I go to kickboxing tonight? lol
Umm...yes to all. There's a conditioning class that is a lot of running and jumping up and down/side to side, and a HIIT class with high impact moves like jumping jacks, high knees, jump rope, broad jumps, burpees, etc. It's the landing after the jump I worry about, landing over and over and over...I really think I'm over thinking this because, again, I'm BSC, and kickboxing is probably totally fine But if anyone out there is a trainer...come to think of it, I should ask the trainers.

R/R: Paranoia is making me think we missed our opportunity this cycle. Had a pos opk on Sunday and we did not BD due to being tired and DH being under the weather. On Monday, I had a neg opk. I figured I would ovulate around 24 - 48 hours after the positive. However, I only tested one time. Newbie mistake. Next time i will test a few times after the positive. Hoping that BD on Saturday would help a sister out if I did O on Sunday. Just started temping and FF has not picked up anything yet. Today is the predicted O day on two apps. Hoping I'm just being paranoid.

We had fun, but I had to wash all my clothes as soon as I got home to get the smell of cigarette smoke out. I got very little sleep over the weekend, so even though I'm back at work, I have had more sleep since I got home.

@hartmich I will say, and maybe this is positive for both of us, that the cycle I conceived DD I randomly ovulated on CD 31, even though prior to that my latest ovulation had been CD20. So I am trying to tell myself that my body is just giving the eggs extra time to get perfectly ready. But I'm still going bananas. Especially because DH will be out of town this weekend so this needs to happen either by Friday, or not until Monday.
You guys are awesome with all this bumping today! Took me forever in between patients to read through!
@laurad75 something seems off there with the CBAD. I'd probably go with just Wondfos for now if it were me.
@LadyMillil that's so frustrating! My post office doesn't always register my town as a town, or registers it as a different name, and then things get all screwed up. Hope the package gets to you soon!
I'm glad your procedure went well today @BusinessWife! FX for good things to come with your FW! Also I love that panda gif, it makes me feel warm and fuzzy
@delujm0 I'm sorry your body isn't cooperating. It took a while for me to get back on track after I decreased BF sessions with my DS. I hope you can get back to normal soon with a good LP.
You sound like me @Westy99. I'm beginning to hate my job, but stick around because the benefits are top notch, paid for everything with DS, and are free. Also, I usually use DH's trimmer and electric razor to keep things tidy, but he doesn't know. Should I have saved that for a FFFC?
@swimsister yay for a temp spike! FX you stay above cover line and FF gives you some nice CHs.
@adirat sorry you're having trouble getting solids temps because of poor sleep. I wish a good nights' sleep didn't play such a big part of tracking BBT. My temps are always skewed because of my DS' shitty sleep habits.
I order the Wondfos off of amazon @KhRun17, but don't recall offhand which seller I generally use.
@wabash15 your coworker sounds like a twatwaffle. I always want to punch people like that.
@luckywife10 it's great that your DH is so onboard with the BD ED. Sometimes I feel like I almost have to trick mine into EOD.
I'm not a true chart expert @slam1110, and your temps are definitely a bit wonky. I'd say CD15 is possible for O, but I don't really think so with certainty. Keep HIO!
@Pinky917 in the past I only used Wondfos, but the cycle that I got KU prior to our loss I used both. I'll probably use both again once I get AF and off the bench, but I tend to overdo things in the pursuit of being thorough.
@Nelbetron I'm so jealous that you were able to sleep in. Sleep is all I want today!
Yay for doing it last night @eggplantface! My DH feels the same as yours -- if I don't seem into it, he has a hard time getting the job done.
@tripledaggerWed95976 here are my charts. I had to screen shot them because I don't know how to link them. For the July chart I manually changed the ovulation.
@luckywife10 it appears to me that your June chart had something strange about it (possibly the high temp on CD 14 and a couple of missing pre-o temps) also it has lots of open circles on your temps for that month. I think it got it right this month with CD 18
eta: I just re-read that you manually entered in O date for the more recent cycle. It looks to me like you were correct. But, Like @saralee797 said, FF has trouble determining O sometimes without info like OPKs or CM. if you start charting those two, or even just the CM I think you will get more definitive results
@BitterBetty12 My RE told me to take inositol (you can get it cheap in powder form on Amazon). I just mix some with water and drink it. It has a sugary flavor and dissolves very easily. The container says that it "promotes good cell-to-cell communication" (or something like that), but what I've heard and read on The Google is that, for fertility, it helps with the quality of the eggs. I have PCOS and my RE said that it can be beneficial for people with PCOS and people labeled as AMA.
Thanks, @businesswife, @saralee797, and @adirat! I'll definitely look into the B6. I'm honestly not sure why I haven't already. Would you recommend starting it now, or should I wait until the beginning of my next cycle?
@adirat Don't you have endo, as well? Not to single you out, but I just thought I remembered that. If so, then that's really encouraging!
@Westy99 I take pictures of my OPKs and save them in an album on my phone (entitled POAS. I really hope no one ever finds them!) I like that because I can flip through quickly to see if a line is getting darker or lighter.

@luckywife10 Without another sign like CM or OPKs it is difficult for FF to confirm ovulation if your temp shift is not clear. If you add in one other sign, you might get more certainty around your O date.
@SP128 FX that you didn't miss O and still have time to HIO! I've gone POAS crazy with my Wonfos OPKS this cycle so I feel like I have some sort of idea what is happening...
@MollyandD Cigarette smoke is the worse - I would've washed my clothes right away as well! I'm happy to hear you had a fun weekend, even if you had to do an extra load of laundry out of it.

Still no major temp spike this AM (relative to my normal temps), so I'm hoping to see it go up tomorrow. I think DH and I will have another go tonight to be sure.

CS/Q: So, this morning I woke up at 2am and couldn't go back to sleep. So, I temped...3 hours early...and it read 97.4. Then, I was able to fall back asleep and temped again at 5am (normal time) and got 97.9. Which one should I use? I know you're not supposed to temp more than once, but I couldn't help myself.

@mrsegan13 I wouldn't worry about it just yet. Keep at it 2-3 x daily with the wondfos, watch your temps and CM and see what happens. If after it's said and done, you feel like it didn't work for you, then try something else! ;)
I'm on vacation this week, plus I find myself with nothing to say really during the AF part of my cycle. So I apologize for being a bad bumper lately. Plus once you've been here as long as I have, posting daily starts losing the fun of it.

@Westy99 As PP's have said, you can totally keep them. I know a very awesome lady, cough @MelissaM090, who keeps hers by taping them to a piece of notebook paper and denoting which Cd it was from. You can see the progression nicely. And I'm sure it's uber helpful.

I also took 800mg ibuprofen, and I really feel fine right now.</div>
So bang a gong!!!

FW is ON!
@tripledaggerWed95976 FWIW, a coverline is not a real scientific piece of data. It's really just a visual guideline for your eye, with no clinical significance whatsoever. You can basically drop it in whereever it looks good to you, whatever helps you see the temp shift. So I don't want to say it's totally arbitrary, but it KINDA is .. ;)

@BusinessWife glad the procedure went well!
@tripledaggerWed95976 I would think it would be about 97.8 if you ignore the outlier high temp.
Edit: sentence structure isn't my thing today

ETA: I did change some of my temp times from earlier in my cycle to the correct ones....for whatever reason the times in there were random times....still doesn't help much or give me CH, the HIO EOD will continue!

WAYDTGKU: Charting temps and CM
R/R: I went out of the state for the weekend and got home Sunday night. My husband had a show in Austin, TX on Saturday and I went along.

Especially because DH will be out of town this weekend so this needs to happen either by Friday, or not until Monday.
eta: I just re-read that you manually entered in O date for the more recent cycle.
Edited to fix a misplaced comma.

R/R: Positive OPKs yesterday so DH and I got after it.
I had the lowest temperature for me ever yesterday (96.5) so I'm slightly concerned it may throw off my chart bit I'll cross that bridge if I get there. Still no major temp spike this AM (relative to my normal temps), so I'm hoping to see it go up tomorrow. I think DH and I will have another go tonight to be sure.
CS/Q: Is it bad to have an annual womans exam during the TWW? From what I've researched so far it doesn't seem to be an issue, but I was curious what you all thought since I need to make an appointment.

Then, I was able to fall back asleep and temped again at 5am (normal time) and got 97.9. Which one should I use? I know you're not supposed to temp more than once, but I couldn't help myself.

@Westy99 As PP's have said, you can totally keep them. I know a very awesome lady, cough @MelissaM090, who keeps hers by taping them to a piece of notebook paper and denoting which Cd it was from. You can see the progression nicely. And I'm sure it's uber helpful.
