Lemon yogurt is hitting the spot this morning! I went to the store last night and when the brand I usually get was out of lemon, I almost cried. I looked over ALL the other brands and they were ALL out of lemon except ONE so I snagged several and very sternly informed my husband that they were mine and if he dared take one I would probably have a major melt down. I am so happy that it tasted as amazing this morning as it sounded last night cause not much lately has sounded very good.
I'm craving anything and everything sweet! Same as with DD...could totally go for a fruit and fibre muffin from McDonald's and will probably get one on my way home from school...also will probably make overnight oats for breakfast tomorrow...and kind of also want a pizza sub from subway with pickles on it
Nothing tastes or sounds good. So I get myself jazzed up about something I would normally splurge on, and **whomp, whomp** tasteless. Upside is that I'm eating SUPER healthy, because if quinoa and kale salad tastes the same as a cheeseburger, why not?!
I have really been craving soup and it has been way too hot to eat soup. It's below 80 today, so I ate soup for lunch and will be eating soup for dinner too.
@chelle087, I am craving soup so bad too! Had ramen yesterday to tide me over but making homemade chicken noodle tomorrow and can't wait. Please please please let me want it still by then!
All I want is a hot fudge sundae. I caved and bought one at McDonalds the other day. It was pathetic. Ice cream with chocolate sauce is NOT a hot fudge sundae. Where is my whipped cream? Nuts? And frickin cherry on top??? What a rip off!
Eating mini Milky Ways, but I'm craving snickerdoodle cookies. And pretzels. Or the Teddy Grahams that I caved and bought at the grocery store last night.
I'm eating so much crap meals not even funny. I take a few bites and then I'm done. I noticed that the more I eat and full I get, the more naseaus I become. I already look the same way I looked when I was 12 weeks pregnant with my first! I'm really into chinese noodles right now.
Everything. If anyone has ever seen the episode of spongebob where Pearl the whale is having a growth spurt, and she's literally eating everything, including a refrigerator. Yea, that's me. I can't stop. Must. Have. Sustenance.
Oh, but especially Chinese food. Yum! And orange jello. And cucumbers. I'll stop now. Haha
Lately I'm loving pizza, reese's peanut butter cups, apple juice, and grilled cheese (Not all together!). The only thing that sounds gross is steak and sausage right now.
@Poison&Wine You totally just helped me decide what I want for dinner! Chinese sounds amazing!
ice water. as cold as possible. and plain cheerios and mac&cheese are also the last 2 things I ate @Holzie!
@leslieknope with DS, I ate almost the entire bag of ruffles in my car at the grocery store (with Dean's french onion dip though...not quite the same). I couldn't even wait until I got home.
Any suggestions on beverages? In the mornings, honestly til about afternoon/dinner time, the thought of drinking water makes my stomach turn. I've tried it super cold which is how I have to have it to stomach it later in the day, with lemon, lemonade, sprite/7up/Sierra mist...I probably drink less than 8oz of fluids from 6am-2 pm or so and I know it's terrible but I just can barely force myself to get anything down and I'm afraid I'm going to get dehydrated.
@mylittleirvz what about "spa water"? It's just fruit infused water and you can add whatever fruits you fancy. There are plenty of recipes online and they're really easy to make. I drink a lot of water, but it can get pretty boring at times, so sometimes I will make some with whatever I have laying around. My favorite combination is cucumber, lemon and mint. I also drink a lot of fizzy water. I'm not a soda drinker but sometimes I like the carbonation. If I'm feeling really fancy, I'll drink the flavored Pelligrinos. The orange flavor is my favorite.
@mylittleirvz These True Lemon packets have basically kept me hydrated so far - our tap water frequently smells rancid to me right now.
I am in pizza club right now. Mild craving, and pepperoni pizza is basically the only way I'm able to stand meat this past week, and I'm typically borderline anemic sooooo pizza it is. Well, it's okay because I live in the best place for pizza in the US and there's multiple pizza food trucks by my work. At least partner doesn't have to "suffer" eating pizza for dinner all the time.
oh damn, now I'm going to need to look into French onion dip. Actually the nearby grocery store that I never go to has a dill pickle dip that's sounding not bad right now.
Brownies and pretzels with peanut butter...all of them, all the time. I never craved anything with my first pregnancy and this time around I feel like my mouth waters just thinking about them!
Oh. And wine because my toddlers are beasts lately...but that's a little impossible right now. Bummer.
like with DD I want fresh french bread with double cream brie (pasteurized, don't worry) . I have also been craving OJ...So far I am still able to eat, so I am going to eat everything!
Nothing sounds good... NOTHING!!! So currently I'm forcing down an apple and some peppermint tea. Veggie sandwich from Jimmy Johns sounded acceptable for lunch but when I started eating it, it was all gross. Water is a big no no so I'm not sure how to stay hydrated. The thought of any food or water makes me gag. I envy you all with food cravings :P

I am totally with you on the water intake. That's probably they had issues taking my blood at my first appointment and also why I fainted. But the thought of drinking anything especially water literally makes me gag.
I guess we have to keep telling ourselves that it's all temporary
So lately I've been finding that eating is fine, but it's preparing food I can't handle. I just have no desire to prepare any food, and I feel like the smell in my kitchen is just strong. I think I've eaten food prepared outside the home at least once every other day for a week, which is so unlike me.

I just bought a bag of sugar free butterscotch candies and for some reason thought they seemed like the most delicious thing on the planet. Promptly crunched down 4 and now I have a bellyache in addition to nausea. Yuck.
@leslieknope Your chip GIF was the highlight of my day and that might be how I end my night (eating chips off my chest in bed)
@Holzie I have been craving Kraft mac and cheese also. We were on our honeymoon in London for 10 days and I had the strongest craving for shape Kraft that it almost brought me to tears. Longest 10 days ever.
My current craving is popsicles/slushies/anything cold and fruity.
@MrsBakes, can you handle fruit at all? That's a great alternate to help stay hydrated.
I'm eating a lot of fruit lately, but it has to be cold. I especially love watermelon, nectarines, and plums. I'm a food service director for a school district and we get our fresh produce delivered next Wednesday. I hope I can still stomach fruit by then. Cereal is a big one for me first thing in the morning. I'm actually able to eat most things for the time being, but smaller portions and eating about every 2 hours. I also NEEEEEED grilled cheese in my life after it was mentioned on the Meal Plan Monday thread.
Everything and anything! I scarf food down like I haven't ate in days... then I feel nauseous but haven't gotten sick yet! It's hard working in a deli with high quality meats and cheeses (boars head!) I'm going to try to avoid deli meats this pregnancy.. I didn't with my first and I was fine but I feel more cautious this time around. Sour cream and avocado sauce is my go to crave (again!) I also love fast food... all the big macs and chick fil a nuggets are mine! I've been eating tons of cold case salads at work like potato salad and frog eye! I'm hungry now brb
Guys, I know I've already posted in here, but I need to share the details of my lunch. BBQ mac and cheese with pickles and pimento cheese on top. Pregnant heaven.
