    Weeks: 26w 2d

Next milestone/appointment? Friday I have my next monthly appointment, and my GD test (I drink before the appt, get my blood taken after).

Rant/Rave/Anything else: H is out of town this week, and it is too darn hot.  I love my girls, but it is exhausting to grow one and take care of the other two without him coming home in the evenings.

    Questions? Nope

GTKY: Tell us one thing you love about being pregnant. I really love being pregnant.  Especially during the 2nd tri when my belly isn't enormously uncomfortable, and I can feel baby move.  I also really love the anticipation of meeting a new person in our family :-)

Next milestone/appointment?  I will probably go in for my GD test next Monday and also have a titer done for my antibodies (Big E). Figure if Im going to miss work might as well get it all done at once. Titers have been good so far so no risk to baby boy at this time (anemia being the main concern). Hoping it stays that way. I didn't have GD with my first so hoping I don't with this one either, not super worried about it at this time.

Rant/Rave/Anything else: I haven't posted on the board in a long time although I have lurked occasionally. Seems that our PGAL participation has gone down but that's not too surprising I suppose since we are all feeling a little better I assume about our chances at this point. To be honest the entire board seems a bit slow. Maybe things will pick up again as we get closer to our due dates ;)

    Questions? nope

GTKY: Tell us one thing you love about being pregnant. I love the way I look in clothes now that my tummy is an obviously pregnant tummy and not just a "gee have you gained weight?" tummy ha ha.
  • Weeks: 25+5

Next milestone/appointment? OB on Monday and MFM ultrasound on Aug 8

Rant/Rave/Anything else: I feel so behind for this baby. We really need to start getting things done!

    Questions? none

GTKY: Tell us one thing you love about being pregnant. I actually like being pregnant. I think my favorite is feeling baby move and knowing there's a little person inside of me

    Next milestone/appointment? GD and check-up on 9/2

Rant/Rave/Anything else: I'm so jealous of you ladies that like being pregnant. I always thought I'd be one of them, but I feel so self-conscious about it all, especially my changing body and all the comments on it. And I'm getting frustrated at the ways I'm limited in terms of things like running (which I really enjoy doing).

    Questions?

GTKY: Tell us one thing you love about being pregnant. Regular baby movements. Because of my anterior placenta it seemed to take forever to get to the point where I was feeling baby every day, and I am enjoying having that now.

@MollySm - I hope your appt and GD test went well today!

@rspalding001 - Glad to see you participating again! It is crazy how much participation has taken a nosedive the past 2-3 months. Maybe everyone is taking summer vacations?

@BLyn627 - I'm with you! We haven't really done anything for baby yet and are starting to feel the rush. In just a couple weeks I'll be in the third trimester - I feel like time just disappeared somewhere.
  • Weeks: 29+2

Next milestone/appointment? Next appointment is the 31st and I'll get my TDAP shot them childbirth classes on the 1st and 8th plus an appointment with the specialist(because of my abnormal pap at the beginning of my pregnancy) on the 6th. The next couple weeks are going to be busy! Hopefully that will all keep me distracted from the 2 mid September loss EDDs I have to get thru. Loss#1 was due 9/15/15 and loss#4 was due 9/9/16. September may be my least favorite month of the year. I always seem to have bad luck with September.

Rant/Rave/Anything else: Just the stuff in the appointments/milestones mostly. I know in my head it should be easier to deal with the EDDs because this little baby is kicking like crazy and definitely growing right along in there but I am really not looking forward to 2 back to back loss milestones. I should have an almost 1yo right now instead of just getting into 3rd tri. I'm so happy to finally be where I'm at but it's still a struggle to not think about what should have been(4 times over) and how old my lost little babies would be if they had survived.

    Questions? Nope

GTKY: Tell us one thing you love about being pregnant. I'm absolutely LOVING the kicks! The variety of sensations is so incredible(rolls, kicks, hiccups). It's so hard to imagine what my babyfish will look like and I am starting to get anxious about meeting him/her(outside my uterus) but I just don't want to give up the mother/baby bond that I feel like I have from being able to feel these movements while other people are oblivious to it. I love being able to have a conversation with someone while baby is just wiggling away and I get to decide if I want to share that moment or be selfish and keep it secret. Being able to feel baby move so much makes the back/hip pain, the acid reflux and the way too frequent trips to the bathroom all seem like nothing in comparison.
  • @tigerfish227 - I'm sorry that September will be such a tough month for you.  Hopefully it speeds by, and we will all be that much closer to meeting these little ones.

@rspalding001 - I think participation went way down when the big group split off to a private group.  I tried following both for awhile, but I just got busy and couldn't keep up.  I think there are enough people on this board now that when we get closer to due dates it will pick back up.  It was kind of funny that our Pg after 35 group died at just about the same time.

  • @MollySm - I never even know there was a split to a private group! It seems odd that people would separate like that at the exclusion of others who may benefit from a larger community. I'm not the most active, other than this PGAL check-in, so it just makes it easier for me to keep up on things when there aren't as many people participating.
  • @lajoliedreamer - There was a troll around that time who was always posting hot button things, and then getting other posters banned when they responded snarkily.  The big group felt uncomfortable with her around, which is why they split.  They were pretty open to letting anyone join who they recognized (who posted relatively regularly).  Then they must have closed it down because I didn't post a lot (was just too busy a time for me, and I respond more here) and am not in it anymore.  It's pretty normal on these boards for a group to split off partway through pregnancy.  I prefer to stick around this board, but not everyone feels that way.
