@medic7979 - How was you family party? Still sticking to your diet? It's no fun but worth it. Do you workout too? PS you're doing great with temping! Only thing I would suggest is update your nickname to your bump SN so you are listed by that under other ladies' friends list (right now you show up as a random number+combo). I can give you instructions if you can't figure it out. Super easy.

@mflowers929 - How was your family time? Keep up the temping; it gets easier over time.

@O2Girl - How's the running going? I love how I feel after working out; it's a definite high. How are the Lupron side effects? Hopefully getting better!

@jjbmstinco -I see a +OPK today. Very nice!! Have fun HIO!! How are you doing emotionally this week lady?

@mflowers929 - How was your family time? Keep up the temping; it gets easier over time.

Family time is actually still going, and will until after the first weekend in August

Today is my brothers 24th birthday, and we're going to go do gokarting and mini putt, and then have dinner at the casino tonight. Unfortunately, MH is working tonight and so he can only come to dinner =(

I've been trying my darndest to keep up with it. I've had a few unscheduled calls into work this past week, so that's thrown me off a bit =/ I'm pretty sure I O'ed the other day, or I am O'ing maybe? IDK, all I know is that I have some very painful stabbing sensations from my left ovary (As I just mentioned in another post, I've always gotten a bit of pain from the side that I O from, just never this bad). We did DTD the day after I told H that I thought I O'ed, but we've been too busy since to do it again, boo. Oh well, at least my family is here to distract me from thinking too much about it

QOTD - my earliest memory is actually something that neither of my parents remember! I grew up in a 3 bedroom bungalow. My dad's office was at the top of the hall, and then a little further down, my parents had the room to the right, and my room/nursery was right across the hall. I very clearly remember my mother telling me to go ask my father if I could make his office into my room, and I've even described details about how it was set up to them. I believe my mother was pregnant with my brother at the time, which may have been why she told me to go ask that, but I really don't remember.

Yes, no surprise with AF. It still stinks...I had my baseline b/w and u/s this past Monday. My FSH and TSH levels are up. Grrrr. I'm now taking Synthroid. I go in this coming Monday for HSG and a cath prep. If everything goes well, I'll start taking Estrace on 8/5. Now I just need to get my DH to schedule his b/w and SA....

I hope you all are doing well. What's new with you @blackbird818?

QOTW: My earliest memory is enjoying the summer outdoors in our first house. Kiddie pool and backyard. I was probably 3 or 4. I also remember getting my head scrubbed and freaking out b/c the neighbor girl passed along lice to me. Good times!

Hi ladies. Lining was increasing, at 8 so hopefully next week it will be 10 or more, which is optimal. The court date got moved to August, so we'll see. Still haven't gotten out of it. I up my estrace tomorrow, trigger on Saturday, then start PIO injections on Sunday (yikes!)

Qotw: going to some dinosaur exhibit. I think I was two. No other early memories though.

@mflowers929 so great you get to spend so much time with your family!! Try to hit perfectly timed intercourse can be stressful for sure. I wouldn't fret about it too much this being your first cycle back TTC. Hope the temping gets easier for you. It's just like any other habit; it takes time.

@Lesliem0901 Hope the Synthroid does the trick. FX for a smooth time with the HSG and cath prep! Lol childhood lice?? hehe fun times

AFM, in case you missed my post on the TP thread (I didn't want to be a total AW with a separate thread), AF came ON HER OWN!!!!! Woot woot!!!! That's the first time that's happened since going off BCP in Sept 2012. I'm like ~cd4, which isn't definite bc I had weird heavy to light spotting for like 4 days before I recorded L flow. But cycle days don't matter much with me since pinpointing O is usually futile. So I'm just gonna go with cd4 at this point. I'm pretty stoked needless to say.

NTTCALR, diet & workouts are going good. I'm feeling great! Scale didn't move much the last week (1 lb), but I've definitely been bloated from AF so that's fine. Vacation is only a week & a half away!!!!! I'm SUPER excited!! I have a hair appt scheduled for next Friday and plan to do some shopping that day too to get the last few things I'll need. Bring on Mexico!!! <:-P

QOTD: Mine involves cattle (surprise lol). It was the middle of winter & freezing cold outside; I remember I had my red down coat on. I was helping Dad feed cows. Anyway there was a cow having trouble calving; Dad had to pull the calf. He got the calf out, but it wasn't breathing. I was right there helping him; he put the calf's head in my lap I started cleaning out it's nostrils with straw. I remember begging it to please live and crying.
Finally it started breathing and moving around. It let out a big sneeze/cough and blew crud/goop/blood ALL over me. Then I started bawling even harder bc I was covered in all that nastiness lol. I was ~3yrs old.

@kistyW13 I'm doing great...just dreaming about the beach! 8-> Actually I think I did O (somewhere between cd38-42 again hard to be sure with the extended spotting, which isn't normal for me) bc from past history, AF wouldn't show if I didn't. It was probably a weak O, but hey I'll take the miniscule victory at this point.

AFM, Yeah, I don't know what FF is doing with those CHs, I'm thinking they will move to yesterday so I hope H is ready for some BDing tonight

Then, this will be our first cycle adding progesterone. I guess we'll see how that goes.

QOTW: The first memory that comes to mind is being out on the front porch and my Poppy used to live across the street. He would always call over to me when he was outside and I would run and tell my mom to "cross me over" so I could go play with him and my gram.

Thanks. I am feeling a bit better. Everyone that I run into at work lately wants to talk about the teacher having triplets! While it isn't enjoyable, I don't cry each time. Moving forward. I guess. I am hoping that we have good timing this cycle.

edited-earlist memory- was living at a house and watching my brother's belly button fall off when my mom changed him. I was so disgusted!

AFM:
Running has been going pretty well.... Other than the fact that I'm suffering through shin splints :-q grrrrrr. I get shin splints easily and it doesn't help that I live at the top of a very steep hill..... Once I go down it I have to go back up it to get home. But I'm not letting it keep me from running; I just tape my shins and cry....but I still run.

As for the Lupron..... Other than the fact that EVERYTHING pisses me off right now I wouldn't even know I was on the stuff. I guess the add back meds my RE put me on to help with the headaches I get on Lupron is working. Hopefully this all works this time around.

QOTD:
My first early memory is when I was 2 1/2 years old. It was the day my little sister was born. I recall everything from the moment I was sitting on a bench in the hallway by the nursery..... I was wearing a little blue dress that had little tiny flowers on it and these little blue shoes I called my "blue suede shoes" and white little fold over ruffle socks. I remember the babysitter sitting with me; I remember swinging my legs impatiently on the bench; I remember the nurse holding my sister up in the window and my sister was screaming. I even remember what I asked the babysitter..... "Is she always gonna be that red?"

My mom swears I can't have any memory of all that because I was too young.... Funny thing is there aren't any photos of me that day in the hospital.. But I can still see it so vividly in my mind. It was such an important day for me and it still is.

Thank you for the Anniversary wishes. We're going to celebrate on Sunday since DH works on Monday till like 9:00. I also am now babysitting Monday night so that works out ok.

No sign of AF yet. I had some slight cramping feeling yesterday at work, it was kind of odd feeling, not at all like what AF cramps feel like. So I came home took an OPK just in case I was really off in my guessing, and it came back negative. I also took a HPT this morning (even though I think it may be a little early still) and that came back negative. Figure I may give it another few days before I take another test.

NTTCR: Sounds like the new center DH is trying to transfer to is opening the end of September so hopefully we'll be moving sometime in the beginning to middle of September.

Earliest memory: I really don't know. The one I can think of is definitely not a positive one.

I look forward to getting to know everyone a little better each week! I did really well working out last week, but doctors appointments, some uterine pain/cramping I've been having, and some GI stuff has kept me from going this week

The genetics counselor appointment went as expected- didn't really learn anything new, she didn't feel that our family history gave any clue as to the losses, and my insurance won't cover the expensive testing she suggested, so chromosome testing on DH and I will not be part of our journey at this time. I left yesterday feeling a bit defeated... even worse today, unfortunately. My hysteroscopy revealed either retained tissue (he thinks this is most likely) or a fibroid/polyp- either way, it's gotta go. FX that antibiotics keeps infection away, and I'll pass it on my own with next month's period. I'll go back after AF visits again for another scope... we'll go from there. Guess it explains my on/off again pain- he says to expect that through next AF... may need a refill on that pain med, doc! ;(

On to more positive things... @blackbird818, so glad that AF came a callin' on her own

This journey really centers around that cranky b*tch! One month we cheer for her, another month we curse her when she shows up!! Also, congrats on the healthy habits and YAY for your upcoming vaca!!

QOTD- My first memory is of my brother coming home from the hospital when I was three. I remember he was wearing something with blue and white stripes/pattern because I always refer to it as his sailor outfit!!

@BluEyedGirl26 yea the spotting had me totally confused. I was texting HOH asking her opinion on it bc I wasn't sure WTH was going on lol. I've never had spotting with AF before. Just glad she showed up. Miracles do happen!!

I know I can't wait for vacation!! Very much needed! It'll be nice to just relax & do nothing with H. We don't get to do that much at home.

#-o shin splints.....OUCH!! They suck big balls! Sorry about that love. My right knee gives me fits sometimes (I wear a brace but it doesn't always help), and I have to just keep at it. It sucks, but there's nothing I can really do about it. You rock girly!!

@mrsjg2013 Hopefully the pain/cramps ease up! I hear ya on the GI issues; I have IBS, and it can be a big hindrance in my daily life at time. Feel better soon!! Sorry for the less than stellar appointments. FX you pass whatever is in there during AF and the antibiotics do their job!!!!

My sister and I aren't super close

I wish we were (and I have tried). She means the world to me..... It isn't like we fight or anything like that, we just rarely speak to each other (which is worse than fighting in my opinion).

This is going to be a post and run. I'll have to come back and read all the updates when I'm not mobile and it's easier to reply.

I'm just waiting on AF at this point. Every morning DH asks me what my temp did, and every few days asks when I'm testing. I won't test, unless I get past 16dpo. But I don't want to tell him my real reason why - no hope.

I expect AF between Sunday and Tuesday.

NTTCAL: I just want to AW for a sec. My garden is doing awesome! I dug up over 20 red potatoes, my tomatoes are almost ready, cukes are almost ready and I have a cantaloupe that's the size of a tennis ball. I love that I did the garden. It's exciting for me and a great distraction.

QOTW: I don't have any memories of the dog we had when I was a baby/young child. Except for the day she left. I was probably 3-4 yrs old. I remember where I was standing in the kitchen, right next to my dad, and where the guy was sitting that was taking her. Then him walking out the door. To this day I wonder if she left to 'go to a farm' but I've never been able to ask.

Thank you. My huge temp drop today tells me AF is probably on her way and I should stop wasting sticks to pee on. Now I'm just waiting for her to show up. I'm actually pretty bummed. We'd timed this month so well. My SO and I haven't really talked about "trying" ... we're just doing the not preventing it thing on his end while I'm doing all the trying - charting, OPKs, ect. He did finally ask me what was the deal with my thermometer this afternoon. So, I told him about charting. Didn't get much of a response.

QOTD: My first memory is of riding in an ambulance and looking down at my sister, in her car seat, surrounded by broken glass and completely unharmed and smiling. We'd just been in a car accident and were on the way to the hospital. Fortunately we were both okay. I think I was about 2 1/2 at the time, she was just an infant.

As for me, posted an AW thread to get some opinions on what to do, but apparently, got a little too many plump follies vibes! haha Went in today and had eight follicles, so unless I want to be octomom, I have to decide if to scrap this cycle or go to IVF (for which I'd be doing egg retrieval on Sunday). Ugh...I hate that this came as such a surprise, I honestly wasn't expecting to even get one follie. I hate it when plans get completely changed...

My earliest memory would have to be when I was about 3 and walked into a dark room of our apartment where my parents pickled cucumbers, carrots and tomatoes in jars, and an earthquake started and all the jars fell and broke on / all around me. I think I was scared to go into dark rooms for quite some time after that!

Just got back from the casino not long ago ^^ My BFF joined us there (she's more like family. Her family and H's family have a history together). My aunt took a lovely picture of H and I, I'll put that up next week. Sadly, I didn't have any money to play slots, but my brother won $15 after MH picked out a machine for him (H worked at a place where he built most of them, so he knows which ones are good).

Tomorrow BFF is picking me and brother up and we're going to drive out to the house, possibly with her mother, but she just had chemo today, so we're not sure if she'll feel up to it. We were planning on going strawberry picking, but it's supposed to rain =( so we're probably just going to hang out. I have to work again until we leave for vacay, since my boss is awesome and wants me to still get a full week of work in so I don't lose any pay. So much left to do to get ready to go!

Family time has been wonderful! We have gone out to the lake, enjoyed family meals together, it's been great!

I got my first positive on my OPK yesterday now I'm just waiting for the thermal shift to occur so I know when I ovulated. I've been diligent about temping and recording CM so fingers crossed that I timed everything right! Any tips on how to link my chart in my signature would be appreciated.

QOTD: I remember when I was 5 or 6 watching my dad, now deceased, make spinach dip. He pretended the frozen spinach was snot which I of course thought was hilarious!

If IVF is a viable (financial) option for you, then that would be what I would lean towards. I understand being frustrated/freaked out when plans change. FX you & YH can come to an agreement on what is best for you!!

blackbird818 Thank you ... I know you're right about the 20 percent, but I can't help but figuring somebody has to be in that 20 percent where it happens the first month - why not me? (I know the answer to this ... probably because I've always had fertility issues and I'd never be lucky enough to get it on the first shot). Just seeing the single line on the pregnancy test is hard.

I know I need to have a conversation about TTC with SO, but there just never seems to be a good time. He's one of these guys that never wants to plan anything but rolls with whatever life dishes out. It's like he's incapable of committing to decision, so he just lets things happen as they do. (This is how we ended up with DD and our two losses - by NTNP). There was a period last year where I made a major career change and I knew I didn't want to be PG during that time, so we talked about it and we prevented for those months until I was comfortable with the idea again ... then we got PG with our most recent loss. SO knows what he needs to do if he doesn't want another one, he's got condoms in the bedside table, he just chooses not to use them. I know he sees how depressed I've been since our loss and he knows how much I'd like another child, so I like to think if he wasn't on board, he would have said or done something. ... But maybe I'm just afraid to actually hammer out the details in case it's what I don't want to hear.

@lyndz333 I'm not sure on the iPad :-?

@jennadesigns I don't think assuming he's on board bc he doesn't use a condom is a good idea. I mean men don't particularly like wearing condoms period. I think a talk is in order.

@blackbird818‌ - Perhaps I did it? I see a link but am unsure of how it would look on a desktop. Mine is currently in the shop. If this didn't work, I'll wait till after my computer is repaired to try again.

yup it's there! If you want, you can insert the link by highlighting the word(s) {ex: My Chart} and then clicking the symbol that looks like links with a green dot. Copy+paste.

But that way is just fine too.

You're right. I just dread the talk. I'm afraid of the outcome. I know it needs to happen though.

@blackbird818‌ Hi! Sorry I'm late. I haven't really had a chance to get on til now. Thanks for the check in. Yay for AF showing up on her own! And enjoy Mexico!!

The shower went well. I felt better than I thought I would. I kept busy and hardly even got to sit and eat so that helped. So I didn't get to sit and think...and thankfully no one said anything to me in regards to TTC. I've been feeling ok. Even thinking about voluntarily taking off next month too. I've just started getting back to the gym to try to lose some of this weight gain from the hormones and stress of all this. While doing the IUIs, I was afraid to even take a brisk walk fearing I could do something to prevent implantation or worse. I feel taking a second month would allow me time to lose a little.

(((Hugs))) to all of you ladies! QOTD: I think my earliest memory is of me as a 3yo throwing a tantrum. I remember hitting my favorite doll against the wall, and her eye popped out! Can't remember what I was mad about though.
