Re: TWW Tuesday

  • Month/Cycle: 3/3

    CD/DPO: 27/15

    Timing: -5, -3, -1, O

Testing: BFN at 12 DPO; plan to test again at 19 DPO if no AF

R/R: After consulting Dr Google, I feel like I may not be out quite yet this week.  There is still no sign of AF and I know my body could still be adjusting to being off the BCP but I'm not so sure.
    1. I had menstrual like cramps on and off from Saturday afternoon until yesterday with no sign of AF (not even spotting).  They seem to be gone for now.
    2. I went to check my CP last night expecting it to be low in anticipation of AF and it was between medium and high
    3. While checking my CP, I also decided to check my CM, not necessarily expecting any; so I was surprised when I had something that resembled creamy CM.
    4. I've been super emotional recently.  I know it could be attributed to impending AF but I'm not usually quite this emotional.  Last night I started to get weepy talking to DH about a local amusement park that closing after this year.

Sorry for the novel (again).  If my temps are still up and no AF, I plan on testing again this Saturday.

CS/Q: See above.  Can someone tell me I'm not going completely crazy here???

GTKY: If you have a pet, is there a specific household chore they don't seem to like you doing?  If you don't have a pet, what household chore do you dislike the most?  Our puppy doesn't like the vacuum cleaner but in addition to that, she will bark at the swiffer when we are trying to clean the hardwood floors.

    CD/DPO: 22/5

    Timing: EOD during FW

Testing: before Labor Day weekend if no AF

R/R: Work is crazy.  I'm beginning to wonder if I should look for new jobs - but we have SUCH great health insurance that I would love to have when I'm pregnant.  Hopefully I can hold on for however long it it's to have a baby, but we'll see...

    CS/Q:

GTKY: If you have a pet, is there a specific household chore they don't seem to like you doing?  If you don't have a pet, what household chore do you dislike the most?  The household chore I dislike the most has nothing to do with my pets because my pets shed a lot but I actually enjoy vacuuming.  I hate cleaning the bathrooms.  Luckily DH usually does them.

@felix08 There are a couple reasons I wanted to wait.  One of which is that I wanted to test when DH isn't home and the only time I know that will be for sure is Saturday.  The other reason was that I didn't want to use up my last HPT if my temp dipped back below the coverline or AF decided to arrive before then.  Although I did think about testing in the middle of the night last night when I couldn't sleep.  I don't think I've ever been so damn confused in my life!  ETA: If you think I'm being silly, you can tell me so.

    Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: 22/7

    Timing: -2, 0

    Testing: Wait for AF

R/R: DD just dropped my phone on the tile bathroom floor and shattered the screen. This is the first time in 12 years that I've ever need a cell phone repair. Grrr!

    CS/Q:

GTKY: If you have a pet, is there a specific household chore they don't seem to like you doing?  If you don't have a pet, what household chore do you dislike the most?
We have a dog but he is outdoors so no household chores bother him. DD hates when I vacuum. She goes screaming and clingy to the Windows like she can jump out and save herself. So I've hated vacuuming since becoming a mom.

    Edited - because I can't count

@Megzb510. So far for me, temping on Progesterone has not been a total waste!  But I do try to remind myself that I'm taking it, just to talk myself down at times....  lol. "Triphasic could mean nothing, ID could mean nothing, IB is not a thing," etc.  Those are some of my TWW mantras.  FX so hard for you though, woman!!!!!! :D

  • Month/Cycle: 4/4

CD/DPO: 14/3... FF changed my O day from CD 10 to CD 11 which seems much more reasonable to me.

    Timing: -3, -1, O, +1

Testing: way to soon to even entertain the notion. I say wait til AF but that never happens.

R/R: Dealing with an awful kidney infection since Saturday and I'm finally feeling a little better I think. Hallelujah.

    CS/Q: Not anymore

GTKY: If you have a pet, is there a specific household chore they don't seem to like you doing?  If you don't have a pet, what household chore do you dislike the most?
They aren't fans of the vacuum at all. But I feel like that's fairly common.

  • @lulu1180, I agree with @felix08, if you are 15 dpo, take a test today. Although I understand your reasons for waiting, it sounds like in your case the symptom spotting might drive you crazy before 19 dpo! SS is so hard not to do, but it messes with your head for sure.

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD/DPO: 26/16 or maybe 26/12

    Timing: either -4, -1, and +1 or -3 and 0

Testing: BFNS last week, way too early. I had one more test I was going to use but I had a temp drop this morning. So.

R/R: They are finally doing our deck today! We have been waiting a month for them to put on the deck guard because they need several rainless days in a row and it kept raining. I am excited for a clean, smooth, non-mildewy and non-splintery deck

CS/Q: I normally temp at 5 am, but I woke up on my own at 4 am this morning and figured I better temp then because by 5 am I would've been awake too long. So I have an open circle for today's temp. Should I have waited until after I went back to sleep and tempted at maybe 530 (but then without 3 solid hours of sleep), or did I choose the better option?
Here is my chart for funsies, but I honestly do think the temp dip is accurate after my negative tests. I am a bit let down today because my temps had continued to rise until today. Boo.

GTKY: Our cat hates the vacuum. She starts to run away when she sees me picking stuff up off the ground, because she knows the vacuum is coming next

  • @BusinessWife haha I feel like we are hardly in the same place at the same time! Long cycle here. Anyway, its okay because I totally saw it coming and I am just ready to move on with an RE and a plan! You understand ;)
  • @jeg07, I'm not positive on this one so someone may correct me, but I believe it usually becomes creamy, then sticky, the dry. Of course I'm sure it varies some between individuals

  • Month/Cycle: 4/5

    CD/DPO: 20/3 (maybe)

    Timing: probably not good.

    Testing: not at all.

R/R: so this was a "wasted" month. I forgot to temp through half of it, got so busy that I didn't HIO, and I couldn't tell you if/when I ovulated because of said temping debacle. It has just been a really bad month at my real job, and the second job is amazing but has me so, so tired. BUT the one good thing is that I've been consistent with my B6 every day (and vitamin c and of course PNV) so I'm hoping to see if my overall cycle is a little longer this time. Since I failed in an epic way at temping, I won't know what it did to my LP until next cycle, but I'll safely assume that if it's longer than it has been, it's working.

CS/Q: Nope, because there's nothing to see! #failboat

Testing: Going to try to wait for AF, but I dont know if I can wait that long.  It might be sometime during labor day weekend.

R/R: My DH and I moved into a new house a few months back, and I meant to bake for our neighbors who put up with our crazy reno before we moved in, but I have not done it becuase of the heat.  I might actually get my act together and bake tonight.

    CS/Q: none

GTKY: If you have a pet, is there a specific household chore they don't seem to like you doing?  If you don't have a pet, what household chore do you dislike the most?
My dog is super laid back when it comes to chores.  He isnt even scared of the vacuum.  The chore that he hates is bath time for him.  We dont like it much either, but he really hates being wet, so when bath time comes around, we have to chase him around just to get him in the sink (hes pretty small) but once hes there he just stands there and gives us dirty looks.

  • @JackieMarie1989 I know that for me it's worth it to just go back to sleep even if it's for 30 minutes and take my temp at the same time as usual because if I take my temp even half an hour too early it's usually WAY lower.  But every person is different so it's hard to be sure.

R/R: Taking the AZO cranberry pills for this dumb UTI.  Luckily it's not a bad one, so hopefully it will go away soon.

They are used to it now, but when I first got the BOB vacuum robot they would chase it around and bark at it.

Oh and @lulu1180 I also vote that you just test today.

ETA also @Megzb510 that chart is so pretty!  fx those temps keep going higher!

I think I've heard 3 hours before.  But I also feel like at this point you might not even have to hold it if you were KU.

  • Hello everyone, I'm new here! I've been a lurker for a while and have posted a little in different groups but not here.

    Month/Cycle: 10/5 (took a while to realize I don't ovulate/have a cycle on my own)

    CD/DPO: 31/5

    Timing: - 5, -3, -1, 0, +1

Testing: Nowhere close yet! Last cycle was the first time I actually ovulated and AF arrived 11 or 12 DPO. I didn't test last time because I had all the telltale signs it was coming on. Also had the trigger shot which can give a false positive for a while and I don't want to get my hopes up!

R/R: Feeling like I am going to have an impossible time focusing at work during the TWW. My temps are also a little all over the place and it seems like FF isn't doing a great job tracking my cycle. I know I O'd because of the trigger shot and there is a clear shift but FF isn't recognizing it for some reason.

    CS/Q: None yet!

GTKY: If you have a pet, is there a specific household chore they don't seem to like you doing?  If you don't have a pet, what household chore do you dislike the most? Vacuuming! My dog isn't afraid of it, just seems to think it's his life mission to kill the evil vacuum whenever I have it running.
