I need to stop looking at this thread lol... just got a new dress from pink blush for my shower for 18 bucks. A cute little yellow floral number. MUST STOP SPENDING. I just can't help it with a good deal though!
@Julia70286, was it the short yellow dress that's fitted??? Because if yes, I'm totes jealous! I tried to get it, but they don't have it in my size. waaaaaah.
@annabenanna It sure is! I wanted it in blue, since I'm having a boy, but yellow is my favorite color and I think I got the last one in my size. Can't wait to try it on!

It'll be the most perfect baby shower dress! Can't wait to see pics of you in it!!!

For anyone looking for Vera Bradley diaper bags, they're having their birthday sale this weekend! Starting today 25% off online and in stores. You also get a free wallet when you spend enough, which the big diaper bag meets the criteria (though, IMO, the wallet is ugly.) Just ordered my bag I've been eyeing
This weekend is Virginia's tax free weekend on back-to-school and emergency preparedness items. This includes almost everything baby related! I'm taking the day off to recoup from the past two weeks, but I'm hoping to be out and about gathering some things tomorrow and Sunday. https://www.tax.virginia.gov/content/sales-tax-holiday
ETA: I think there are a few other states having tax free weekends as well, so be sure to check!
If anyone is in need of a christening outfit, Gymboree has a sweet simple dress online for practically nothing. I spent over $100 for my daughters so we obviously be reusing that for this little one, but I just had to share!
@Lauren0216, thank you for this! This baby is going to wear my old christening gown that my mom had kept. (my sister used it too, and so did her baby!) but I'm going to go ahead and buy the one-piece christening suit for after!
@CopperBoom86 I can't remember if it was you or not, but did you say you were interested in getting the Babble Band? If anyone is interested, I just came across it on amazon prime on sale for 35.00
Thanks, @Julia70286 - My mom is 70-80% deaf in both ears and we had been looking at this for her. I'm hoping it will make her (and us) more confident in leaving the baby with her. I'm thinking she could use it for so many other purposes as well!
I plan on supplementing when I go back to work. I signed up on enfamil's website and they sent me a really nice sample package completely free. Might be worth looking into if any of you other mamas plan on supplementing
@MKJeffrey2002 I solely fed my daughter Enfamil and loved the product and the company. I would call them every two months and they would send me additional samples and tons of coupons. Those coupons really help, considering that some of them are $5 or $10 off formula.

The sample packs are great even if you don't plan to use formula. It never hurts to have a little on hand. You just never know what could happen. Plus they often partner with other company's and you get soothers, nursing pads, diaper cream, bottles, baby wash and coupons for other places and things. That's just to bake some of the stuff you can expect to get. I got a nice stash of baby bottles this way to try without having to spend a penny cause all babies like something different. If I get to a point and baby is old enough and I don't need the formula I give it away to someone who needs it or our local women's shelter. That way it doesn't go to waste. I also have swapped coupons on Facebook with other moms. I always entered my due date a month early though cause they are usually slow on the draw to send them out in my experience.

Not sure if this belongs here or where but...my sister just heard about this site called Macaroni Kid that is like a newsletter of free local kids' events. It doesn't have every town but, worth checking out.
I've been finding Aden and Anais items at Marshalls, Home Goods and Tj Maxx...the boutique versions not the aden by Aden and Anais. I got a dream blanket for $24, originally $59 and I got a great towel set for $14, originally $30. I have a few Aden by Aden and Anais towels and they are great- but definitely not as plush or as large as these ones!

I didn't realize Aden and Anais was a designer brand. My Sam's Club had the 4 set of muslin swaddlers from them on clearance for $3.33. I bought 3. I looked them up and they're $49 on Amazon. Check yours if you're a member.

@kelliott09 - yup. I knew it was a steal, I just didn't know how much. I think they were originally $24.99 in club but had just been moved to super clearance. I got a grey set and a purple set, both pretty neutral.
@annabenanna - I got the Southport Cora in the dark green. It's a crossbody, which I'm hoping it easier when trying to wrangle a baby carrier as well. I love the color for fall/winter. It was easier to talk myself in to because my much beloved Emma Fox fall/winter bag in soft buttery leather and the most perfect plum color was looking pretty rough after last season. I was worried I'd never find something I loved to replace it, but I'm hoping this is it. Plus, for the price, even if I only carry it a few times I won't feel bad. https://surprise.katespade.com/WKRU1769-3.html
