How far along are you? 8 weeks

How big is baby? the size of a raspberry

Appointments this week? First ob/gyn appt is on Friday! I am nervous and yet excited. Nervous about what to expect, nervous to find out if everything is going well, but excited to get the first appointment under our belt and hopefully see the little peanut

Symptoms? Symptoms have been subsiding the last day or two (which is making me nervous). Exhaustion, vivid dreams, sore nipples, nausea if I don't eat every few hours.

Rant/Rave/Questions? Mostly just piggy backing off things I've already said. Nervous for first appointment and nervous that I have been feeling better the last day or so. Also realizing that I do not know a lot about babies...and that makes me nervous.

GTKY: What trait of your's do you hope your baby inherits? What trait of your SO's do you hope your baby inherits? I hope baby inherits SO's work ethic and determination and my goofiness.

How far along are you? 4 weeks

How big is baby? Poppyseed, table salt, grain on a piece of sandpaper.

Appointments this week? Nope. Haven't even called the OB yet.

Symptoms? Super sore boobs and exhaustion. Also some light pulling/tugging feelings in the ute.

Rant/Rave/Questions? I'm so happy to finally be here!! But since I had a loss in March, I am very nervous. I will feel MUCH better if I can make it past 6 weeks (when I had my previous loss). We have started to tell the people that we are closest with and the people that supported us through our previous loss, but haven't made an announcement to everyone in the family yet.

GTKY: What trait of your's do you hope your baby inherits? What trait of your SO's do you hope your baby inherits?
Honestly, DS is so cute (thanks to DH). So I hope this one looks just like him but with my green eyes and curly hair (my side of the family). Also, I hope this one inherits DHs likability. I have not met a single person who dislikes DH. Everyone loves him. And I hope baby inherits my smarts (sorry DH).

Symptoms?
Super sore boobs, lack of appetite, back and lower abdominal achiness from time to time

Rant/Rave/Questions?
My job is giving me a hard time getting the time off I need to go to my doctor's appointments. I also really intensely don't want to tell them I'm pregnant yet.

I hope this baby is outgoing like SO, and has my eyes.

Appointments this week?

None until September 6th. The dr said they would do an ultrasound. I'm so nervous and excited

Symptoms?

sore boobs and fatigue. Also a little nauseous in the mornings and if I wait too long to eat.

Rant/Rave/Questions?

Just all around nervous. I think once I have a couple appointments behind me I'll start to feel better. I did buy a couple small baby things today. I'm so in love already. I can't wait until we get to the point where we know what we're having so I can quit calling the baby "it" and can start calling it by the names we picked out.

I hope it inherits my DH's work ethic and red hair and my love for books/learning.

8 weeks! 2 months down! (I know it's not REALLY 2 months. Just let me have this one.)

How big is baby?
Raspberry

Appointments this week?

I had a dating scan on Monday. All was well. 145 heartbeat! Measuring a couple days ahead but I doubt the doctor will change my due date based on a couple days.

Symptoms?

Pretty bad morning sickness, but diclectin seems to have it moooostly under control. Which is much better than my last pregnancy where HG and zofran were my life.
Also, exhaustion, and kind of faintey? I felt like I was going to pass out at the farmers market this morning so that was fun.

Rant/Rave/Questions?

Even though my morning sickness is relatively mild compared to last time I'm SO ready for this stage to be over. And showing. I want a baby bump. Haha.

I hope he or she is a reader like myself and my husband!

How far along are you? 6 weeks!

How big is baby? A sweet pea

Appointments this week? None this week. Had my first appointment yesterday (Friday 8/19). Nothing exciting. We talked about my blood work, which was all great. Hoping to hear the heartbeat at the 10 wk appointment.

Symptoms? Definite fatigue. Nausea on and off. Sore boobs. Mood swings.

Rant/Rave/Questions? Ready for the bloat bump to be a baby bump! Also, telling my principal and department chair on Monday, which makes me nervous! I know they will be accepting, but it still makes me nervous.

GTKY: What trait of your's do you hope your baby inherits? What trait of your SO's do you hope your baby inherits? DH's athletic ability and kind heart, and my intelligence and love of learning.

How big is baby? Raspberry

Appointments this week? 3 your glucose test because I failed my one hour...which I fail every flipping time.

Symptoms? Nausea, exhaustion, moody

Rant/Rave/Questions? Having a tough time right now because during our last pregnancy baby's heart stopped sometime between 8&9 weeks....so once we get passed this next week will hopefully feel much better.

GTKY: What trait of your's do you hope your baby inherits? What trait of your SO's do you hope your baby inherits? DH - metabolism, intelligence and humor. Me- intelligence, eyes, smile, stubbornness (even though it is hard to deal with as a child...it has served me very well!)

How far along are you? 6 weeks!!! (I can't believe I made it this far!)

How big is baby? the size of a chocolate chip. Of course there is the pea one too, but I think a chocolate chip is cuter.

Appointments this week? nope. Still haven't called. It is on my list for this upcoming week. Moving and switching insurance and finding new doctors for the whole family is pushing things back. The midwife group I am planning on calling doesn't look at people until at least 8 weeks and more often 9 weeks though, so I know it will be ok.

Symptoms? here comes the morning sickness. So far it is literally just the first couple hours in the morning. But, this is exactly how it started with DD (to the day) and by 7 weeks it was all day long constant horrible nausea. Occasional heartburn, super bloated by the end of the day, and still sooooooooooo tired.

Rant/Rave/Questions? I don't have much. I came home today to DH drinking a Mike's Hard Lemonade. Totally my favorite thing to drink at the end of a summer day. I was so sad and wanted some sort of substitute, but we have nothing. So, I asked DH to drive to the nearest pop machine that has Squirt. He did. Brought me home a can of Squirt. Craving satisfied!

GTKY: What trait of your's do you hope your baby inherits? What trait of your SO's do you hope your baby inherits? I hope this next one is just like DD. She is perfect. Perhaps a little less of DH's activeness. I hope my kids have DH's brain. And I hope they have my optimism and people skills. (sorry, DH your people skills totally suck.)

Size of a blueberry, or a playing die

Appointments this week?
Had my first appointment on Friday. Got to see the little peanut and hear the heartbeat. Was amazing. Also found out I was 7 weeks, not 8.

Symptoms?
Jusy tired, but that's normal for me. Constipation and slight backaches.

Rant/Rave/Questions?

Can't wait for Thanksgiving. It's my husband's family's favorite holiday. It works out to do the gender reveal when all of the family is over.

Symptoms? I'm Tired ALL the time. My boobs are also pretty sore
