How are your symptoms and what's going on this week? leaking from everywhere, after yesterday and the strange leaking from down there I noticed my boobs are now leaking consistently too. my hormones must be sky high. no planned baby appointments this week, and work is going to be pretty dull since i'm in a 40 hour training course. DD1 has her first dance class on Wednesday, I hope she enjoys it as much as a few years ago.
R/R/Q? baby is kicking up a storm nowadays! I can see my belly moving on the outside when she does, and she actually woke me up last night a few times with her movements.
GTKY: did you watch the Olympics? what was your favorite event? just the recaps and news highlights. I've never been into the Olympics, I would rather watch football or something. i'll watch a floor routine if i'm flipping through (because simone biles is amazing!). but i have limited TV viewing time and bachelor in paradise has been on
How are your symptoms and what's going on this week? Getting some pretty strong movement now, and I'm loving it. My nipples feel weird, especially the left one. I keep checking to see if there's leaking happening and nothing yet. I feel like it could happen soon though.
R/R/Q? Rant: I feel like the ticker changes have started coming more slowly. I need them to speed up not slow down! Rave: One more week until viability day! R2: My blood pressure had gone from 124/84 last appt. to 122/70 this past week. Such a relief to see it not shooting up.
GTKY: Did you watch the Olympics? What was your favorite event?
I always watch women's soccer, but that failed spectacularly this year. I don't have cable so I didn't watch much of anything else. I'm not really a sports fan. Actually dreading the college football season here in Alabama. Not being a native of this great state makes the enthusiasm here seem a little...over the top. I've never seen anything like it. UofA fans here are definitely on another level.
How are your symptoms and what's going on this week? Same old, same old for the most part symptom wise. I should find out the results of my glucose test next week, and our anniversary is on Saturday. My parents are going to keep the boys this coming weekend, and we're probably going to paint (I know, it's so romantic, LOL).
R/R/Q? My mom isn't keen on where we're planning on setting up the baby's crib/room (we're using my DH's office and it will be split between office and baby furniture paraphernalia). I know it's not ideal, but it's a solution that allows us to keep the older boys in their own rooms and allows us to keep a guest room still. She doesn't think that there's enough room to do it, even though it's actually a decently sized room. Oh well...I'm just letting it go in one ear and out the other.
GTKY: did you watch the Olympics? what was your favorite event? I DVR'd the parts that I wanted to see - gymnastic and equestrian events, which are my favorite.
@caseyewhitakerare you feeling let down already? I am, it's a weird tingling sensation. not a ton of leaking, but enough to (TMI) crust up my bras when the colostrum dries. last pregnancy I got to leaking so bad I had to wear nursing pads all through 3rd tri.
@H4aPartyof5I wish parents and in-laws could keep their opinions to themselves. or at least ask before offering. usually they only have the best intentions but sometimes you just don't want to hear it right?
@amm126 what kind of back pain are you having? is it up higher or low by the pelvis? ice helps mine, as does laying on my back and trying to keep my pelvis stabilized. I side sleep but wake up in the morning on my back so I know that's where my body is most comfortably aligned. I have to really limit my activities during the day, if I walk/stand too much during the day I pay for it all night long.
How are your symptoms and what's going on this week? Symptoms have mostly been staying the same, but I'm noticing a lot more belly tightness. She's also kicking a lot harder now. Nothing new this week baby-wise. The crib came the other day and we had our childbirth prep class Friday evening and all day yesterday. DH wants to paint in the nursery before we put the crib up though, so it probably won't be going up right away.
R/R/Q? One of the things that bothered me in the birthing videos we saw in childbirth prep class was that they always asked Mom to reach down and touch baby's head when they are crowning. Is this a thing? If so, I'd rather just snuggle on her when she is completely out, thank you very much!
GTKY: Did you watch the Olympics? What was your favorite event? Didn't watch as much as I would have liked to due to work and appointments. I did keep up with events online though. Usually I will follow beach volleyball, gymnastics, and some of the swimming events, although I also like water polo and will watch diving events if I catch them on TV. Planning on watching closing ceremony tonight (and hoping I won't fall asleep like I did during opening ceremony!)
@zubenescamali nothing substantial yet. I've got little white specks that keep showing up and one day the tips were just slightly moist. Like I said the left one is feeling a bit more strange than the other. I've been checking them periodically to make sure nothing substantial is going down. Because I am curious though and discussing it, I just pressed the right one and a two tiny drops of moisture came out.
@squiddy224 I have to say I instinctively reached down when DD2's head came out. My doc told me not to. All the goo and blood. But I think it's just instinct!
How big is baby? Grapefruit. Last week was a coconut; is a grapefruit not smaller than a coconut? Shows you how often I buy grapefruits and coconuts.
How are your symptoms and what's going on this week? Feet and legs ache all of a sudden, and feet have started to swell a bit at the end of the day. Nose is dry and aggravated when I wake up in the morning. Bleeding gums are super annoying.
R/R/Q? The maternity jeans I bought fit great when they come straight out of the dryer, but then they start to droop and sag within an hour or two of wearing, so I'm constantly reaching under my shirt to hike them back up.
GTKY: did you watch the Olympics? what was your favorite event? On and off, when I could catch my favorite events. Gymnastics, swimming, diving and track are my favorites. Generally annoyed with NBC's coverage, as I have been the last several Olympics.
Have you tried one of those pregnancy pillows @amm126 ? I bought one of those c-shaped ones, and it does seem to help a little bit with my lower back pain when I wake up in the morning.
@caseyewhitaker, Bama does take it to another level it seems. My dad's a big Bama fan, and I grew up going to the games...people watching was pretty entertaining.
@zubenescamali, my in laws are pretty good for the most part of keeping their opinions to themselves. My mom is the one that says things the most often that sometimes gets under my skin...I usually just let it slide.
@amm126, hope that you are able to find something that alleviates your back pain soon!
@H4aPartyof5 there's a house in my neighborhood who has a large lawn light fixture that says "ROLL TIDE" and they don't just put it out for the holidays. One time I went into a hair salon and no one was there but the receptionist. She said they weren't busy so everyone had gone home to watch the game. I have seen fans and now I have seen Alabama fans.
How far along are you? 22 weeks How big is baby? As big as a coconut How are your symptoms and what's going on this week? My symptoms are fine, no new symptoms and the old ones just feel as like an integrated part of my life lol. R/R/Q? Rave- we got the nursery and my boys' room painted this weekend! And last night was the first night both boys slept in the same room and it went better than I expected GTKY: did you watch the Olympics? what was your favorite event? I watched some, mainly volleyball/beach volleyball, swimming, and women's gymnastics. If I caught other events I would watch them, like basketball or soccer but I didn't go out of my way to watch them.

How are your symptoms and what's going on this week? Horrible back pain all week. Doctors appointment on Tuesday too.
R/R/Q? What does everyone else do for their back pain? I couldn't sleep one night because it kept waking me up, no matter what.
