• @BusinessWife I don't think I've ever wished someone not to O before, but I hope you don't O quite yet!

@Marley629 I drink one cup of green tea every afternoon, sometimes two if I feel like it. I don't think hot or iced matters since the idea is the compounds in the tea help the CM. I've been doing this for a few weeks and haven't noticed a difference in my CM, yet, though.

  • @Marley629. My doc definitely recommends B6 and Mucinex during fw, but could take the B6 all cycle, 100-200mg. I maybe drink a cup up to three maybe max four total, (most days average 2-3), hot, but that's counting my fertilitea too, which also contains green tea, but it's a blend. I'm sure just staying hydrated etc. helps, and I don't think it matters whether hot or cold. Maybe not one if it's bottled and prepared with a lot of extra sugar though, and my doc said to watch out for extra vitamin c during fw, which can be drying? So I'm holding the ovaboost till after fw. Hope some of that helps.... Sorry about the 12 month mark, it sucks. :p

@adirat I'm not sure because I dont take vitex straight. It's worth a shot to switch to the plain though, and see if that's any better. If not, I might recommend this fertilitea by fairhaven I get on amazon. I haven't had any issues with that and I have a tendency to get those kind of symptoms too, from time to time. But not for a while lately and not from the fertilitea. GL!!
  • @BitterBetty12. Ya it's weird maybevfrom thevantibiotocs last cycle, but also they teach us to watch for fertile cm on your light and very light af days, because it can definitely be a sign of an earlier O!

@mrsdaddario. Yay! So glad your timing work out perfectly! :)
  • @BitterBetty12 Thanks. Yeah, I'm not sure what to do. I started the vitex this cycle specifically because I had about a month between thyroid tests and wanted to see if it had an impact on my thyroid levels, but now I kind of wish I never started it.

@mrsdaddario Good luck at the RE tomorrow. I hope you get a good plan to move forward and you don't have to wait a cycle.

@BusinessWife Thanks, I will take a look at that.

  • I have a question: What is the difference between month and cycle??
  • @shstephenson I'm glad they figured it out and you are hopefully on the mend.FX that you were able to HIO close to O

@SnobunnieMel I don't have the answer as I've been wondering myself. But now im off to find the previous thread where this was discussed!

  • @BusinessWife - FX for you! It sounds like a big week!

    Month/Cycle: 4/4

    CD: 8

WAYDTGKU: PNV, Aspirin, CoQ10, Exercise, Pre-Seed, HIO

R/R: Rave: I went to a big family wedding shower yesterday and not one person asked "when will you have kids"! Praise be!

CS/Q: Question on CM vs PreSeed. I just started using PreSeed this cycle. How long after BD does it affect your CM? I never seem to be able to get enough CM to actually stretch, but it feels watery and slippery all the time. Only other change is, I switched from coffee to tea at home. Not green tea or fertility blend, just a random assortment.

GTKY: I love watching the Olympics and participating in sports, but I don't follow NFL,MLB,NHL,etc... If we get invited to a game party, DH makes some kick-ass buffalo chicken dip!

  • @Marley629 Thank you! Sorry to hear you had a negative experience but I have to admit I'm glad I'm not alone. Enjoy that green tea!

@SnobunnieMel That conversation made me think saliva could be a problem in both directions, so, you know, do with that what you will during FW.

@shstephenson Oh my gosh, I'm so glad you are OK! How frightening!

@Giddyup82 I'm not sure if Preseed is supposed to help that -- I have been thinking of it just as a sperm-friendly lube. But so glad your family didn't ask about babies! What a relief for you.

  • @GiddyUp82 Hi! I used PreSeed this cycle a few times for the first time. My understanding is that if you're using it as a CM aid (not just as external lube), you can apply it up to an hour before BD and it just helps create a less hostile environment for when you BD. It's supposed to mimic fertile CM when you don't have enough or any. It doesn't affect your natural CM after you are done BDing.
  • @Adirat and @chocolatelemons - Thanks. I am using it internally because I never seem to have a lot of CM. I am only using it during BD. I just wasn't sure how long after it affects natural CM. I still like to check every once in a while. Maybe I'll actually see fertile CM this cycle! *Excited squeal*

@ststephenson - I hope you are feeling better soon! and FX O stays away till you are feeling better!

  • @shstephenson Are there any other types of bama fans other than obnoxious? Lol, j/k. I've been there before, but not too recently with the gators. But SEC forevvvvvver!!

@SnobunnieMel I was wondering the same thing yesterday when DH was down there....I almost said something, but then was like oh well...commence as necessary!

@delujm0 I love tailgating, that's awesome that you all still get together. I am jonesing to get to some games this year!!

@BusinessWife I hope O stays away for you until you have the SA! GL!

  • @SP128 My temps are always in the 96 range until after O. As far as ED vs EOD, a lot of literature suggests EOD until you get a positive OPK and then every day until the FW ends. There's conflicting research about whether EOD even makes a difference, though. I try to HIO ever day in the FW if we can.

R/R: Slight increase in temp. again this morning, but not as much as I was hoping. Hopefully my temps will keep increasing.

    CS/Q:

GTKY: My favorite sport is track and cross country so I love watching the Olympics because running isn't really too televised. I ran competitively in HS and college and occasionally compete in some road races now so I find it fun and motivating to watch. H loves basketball and I can get into it sometimes like during March Madness. I enjoy going to live events- doesn't matter which sport, but I'm not a huge fan of watching games on TV.

WAYDTGKU: BD, OPK's (just ordered more yesterday but they aren't going to be here in time and I am running extremely low for this round), and just following my calendar on my phone - I haven't charted yet...maybe that is my problem.

R/R: Today is my Thursday at work so I am thankful for that!

CS/Q: I'm on metformin for Type 2, and I have been told that it also helps with boosting CM, but honestly I don't recall seeing EWCM for months. Any suggestions for me?

@shstephenson. Oh my gosh! Thank goodness you went in! I hope you are feeling better and they are able to treat it okay... and fx it doesn't have to ruin your whole cycle, too. But ultimately what we need is future-mama's body all healthy safe and sound. <3

@GiddyUp82. Thank you! Trying not to give into my nerves... I'm sure it will all be okay. Right? Right. ;) I pretty much just think of it as a sperm-friendly lube, but you can try Mucinex and b6 and/or FertileCM to improve it if you're concerned. ETA @Knottie1441390249 That same advice for improving CM may be helpful to you today as well. Also, you may want to think about going on the knot and edit your name to something that will be easier for people to tag you, as opposed to all the other million knottie9983601934170812739 whatever's are on here. ;)

  • Like @swanbrooner , my pre-O temps are all in the 96s. We talked about this last week and a lot of the ladies are in the same boat. Nothing to worry about in my opinion.
