@soemthingclever I'm doing online through WGU. What are you studying? I wish I could say I am a recovered procrastinator when it comes to tasks and papers, but I think I thrive on the adrenaline rush of the deadline. I've improved a little bit though; I just have to be finished by August 31. I won't have much time next weekend, so I'm trying to get as much accomplished this weekend as I can. I am so close to the end!
@swanbrooner I'm definitely not a recovered procrastinator. It will always be part of me. I'm getting a M.Ed from a college in my city. Most of the classes are inseat, but I like online because I don't have to see anyone. You're almost done! Hang in there!

Guess who's making tacos again??!! Pulled pork carnitas with homemade roasted tomatillo salsa verde, to be exact I got sooooo much done today and I'm paying for it pain/fatigue-wise but feeling very accomplished and can't wait to PIG OUT!
@soemthingclever@swanbrooner I'm a few terms away from my capstone and just registered for it today but I totally procrastinate on all my papers. It's worked so far since I have perfect grades so why change what isn't broken haha. I'm getting my MBA with a concentration in Project Management.
@kns1988 I have to admit, before I learned just how hard it is to get KU, I was definitely that person who put in different expected AF dates to see when EDD would be. At first we were going to wait until this October so that I wouldn't be due when we change duty stations but then SIL announced a summer wedding and we need to TTA to travel to that and I wasn't about to wait till January to TTC. If I get KU I'll just move back to the States early, DH didn't want me delivering in Korea anyway. I was meh about it but a friend of mine had a horrible c section experience here and the whole experience is different. We've had conversations about if we should TTA in the future because of deployments, moving, his training, etc. but in the end chose not to because if worse comes to worse, I can live with my ILs for support.
@rainbowturtles, I'm super jealous of your carnitas! My high school boyfriend's family used to buy them every Sunday from some local guys and they were the most incredible, authentic carnitas I'll ever have. I wish I could call him up for the contact info but that might be a little weird 8 years later...
@slavenski, I used to do that, too, but I'm a little jaded at this point. Or maybe not jaded - just realistic.

@beary67@ratparade I made that and it was wayyyy to sugary due to the syrup! I usually love sweet stuff, but we had to throw it out after a few bites!
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
We had a busy weekend, including a joint bday party for DH and SIL. SIL's SIL has a 5 month old and has been married for 5+ years. She is normally really nice, but was very protective of her baby and made a not-so-nice comment about us wanting to start a family immediately after getting married. I don't know her TTC history (and I don't think they were trying long), but I don't care what it is. You don't take it out on others! I am 33 with a great job, house, and we have been together for 4 years, so it's not like she even has a reason to be annoyed. Other than that, we also played softball and hung out with friends. I am not looking forward to going back to work in September!
