There was a thread similar to this a while back, thought it would be good to start a new one. Please share any TTC related humor, memes, gifs, etc. It's always a great way to cope...making fun of ourselves and the "process" to mask the pain/disappointment. This is what I was doing when I made these...
Nice topic! Here are a few that I've run across while looking for gifs and memes for other conversations.
This is how I think I must look when I show up at the hotel when I visit OH:
We can all relate:
Me: 45 OH: 42 Beloved SS: born 12/2011 TTC my bio #1/our #2 since January 2016 **TW** June 2016 had CP **end TW** August 2016 - dx with DOR Somewhere in here received recommendation to do IVF with donor eggs, elected not to; OH dx with Low T May 2017 - began freezing sperm June 2017 - OH began treatment for Low T July 2017 - began doing 1 IUI via a midwife and 1 at home insemination each cycle http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/6259ba July 2018 - exhausted frozen sperm, officially NTNP since OH is probably shooting blanks
OMG This one so much. Because yes, I did say that to H this past cycle, and many others before that. "You know we have to have sex more than once a week to make a baby, right? OR DO YOU JUST NOT WANT A KID AFTER ALL?" Then I have to calm down and apologize.
*smile politely*

@eggplantface - I don't think I ever said it out loud, I just always thought it in my head...back when we literally just did it once or twice, if that. It took him about 6 months and me dragging him to the OBGYN appointment to get the point across. But for a while I just wanted to shake him and say exactly what you said above.

@PoeMasque - I saw the crack whore one in my search but refrained from posting here in case anyone was an actual crack whore... I have worked at a drug & alcohol rehab in the past and I have tons of empathy for addiction but it does pain me to see some of these people having children carelessly, when I've spent most of my life thinking I wasn't in a good place to have a child.
@amberruka I have not experienced that on FB but just now my cousin liked a girl's post of her ultrasound pic with nothing in it basically saying she's having an IUI and to wish her luck. She drew a big heart over the picture of nothing...well she says it's a pic of her egg getting ready for the swimmers. That's a first for me.

So....we have to announce when we're getting inseminated now? And with that, FB announcements have jumped the shark.
Follow up question, though: Is it typical to go home with an ultrasound picture of your egg during an IUI, or did she have to specifically request it? Because I can't imagine needing attention so badly that you'd ask your doctor for an image of your egg for a FB post.

I have no clue how/why you would want a pic of the IUI process. Perhaps she took a pic of the screen with her phone? Anyway, it looked like a big blob of NOTHING!!!! I do not understand feeling the need to post this on FB.
