@AllyTheKid I'm the same, zero UOs no matter how much I think about it.
I was surprised how popular 50 Shades got due to poor writing. I had no desire to read it, however I did read Twilight and the writing in it is pretty awful too.
I never planned to cosleep with my first, but I ended up having to get my gallbladder out when she was 6 months old and I couldn't bend over and pick her up from the crib for a long time, so that's just how it ended up. I don't plan to cosleep with this one.
I too, liked 50 Shades but liked Sylvia Days Crossfire Series much better.
I admit I love to tan... I'm so sad at the fact I'm so pale this year...
And my UO is that I'm starting to hate the saying "but it's all worth it!" If I hear "enjoy your freedom and sleep now, because you'll miss it! Oh but it's ALL worth it!" Why does everything about becoming a parent have to be sugar coated... There are gonna be days that I'm gonna hate it and I'm gonna cry and want to run away... Lol. Of course it's gonna be worth it but let's just call a spade and spade and admit somedays raising a child isn't going to be all it's cracked up to be!
@sportiegrl1213 - Thank you for writing basically everything I was going to write. You saved me the trouble. You even guessed my UO!! (I was at a family party last weekend (in-law side) and I was ready to strangle the next person that said "sure you want to do this? - oh, but it's all worth it!")
Also, my attempt at covering up my pasty legs with a quick tan from a spray can resulted in my legs having odd darker splotches in random spots. Kind of like a cow hide pattern. Long dresses for awhile!!
Married 11-11-11 TTC only since Dec 2015. I had some weight to get off. Been working hard in the gym for over a year. BFP 02-15-16 with our first IT'S A BOY!!!
@LMNOBaby I've been trying self tanners and it's just not the same. I miss the sun and tanning.

@RainMira9e I needed to hear that today! lol I have a shorter dress on (just above my knees) but my legs are ridiculously pasty white. We have a company wide meeting at our warehouse today, which has no A/C, so I wore the shortest most work appropriate dress I could find, leaving my ghostly legs bare for all to see.
@Schell2013 I'm with you on 50 Shades, I loved those books. This inspires me to say that I also really like the Twilight books. The movies definitely left something to be desired, but the books... I still love them.
@sjo_thetwins I will be checking out that Anne Rice series, thanks for the recommendation!
The only time I ever co-slept with DD was when she was sick and had a fever (the first time she was 8 months old and had bronchitis). Other than that, it's in the pack and play for the baby. The nursery is on a different floor, so he'll probably be with us until he's (mostly) STTN, but in his own bed in our room. I did rock her every night before bed, although not always until she was asleep, until we couldn't fit in the glider together anymore. We still read together in her bed every single night and snuggle for a few minutes before I leave.
@sportiegrl1213 I LOVED the Crossfire series! And I also hate hearing that kind of stuff now; I think it's wearing extra on me right now because I have a 7 year old. I think people forget I've been through this before? Why does everyone seem to think they're the only person who's giving us advice? Come up with something useful and creative, otherwise just tell me I look great and move on lol. Oh, and I also hate when the advice comes in absolutes. What worked for one kid isn't guaranteed to work for mine!
