Re: ***INTRO & EDD THREAD***
I'm cautiously announcing our pregnancy to some boards at this time. We will be 11 weeks on Friday. It has taken us FIVE years to get to this point - yes FIVE. We have had 8 miscarriages and 1 ectopic. We have been monitored pretty closely this time and have had an ultrasound every week to date. We are praying this is our take home baby.
Our due date is March 9th. I'm really excited to get to know everyone over here. I'm mostly a lurker and don't spend too much time online (work full time, our six year old is starting school again soon, etc etc). However sometimes it is really nice to have another group of people in the same situation with the same goals and fears.
Good luck to us all and may we all have some uneventful pregnancies!
Baby #2 - March 2017
I'm late to the introduction game, but it's never *too* late. I got my BFP on July 8, 2016. DH and I have been married since June 12, 2015 and this will be our first nugget together. We're thrilled. The EDD is March 10, 2017 and we're thinking it was the result of our magical vacation to Japan this year!
I've had one appointment with my midwife and she's wonderful - a perfect balance of traditional and alternative medicine philosophies. I'm excited to go through this journey with everyone, and can't wait to meet you!
I am due 3/27 with baby #2. I have an amzing and crazy 2 year old daughter who was also a March baby. I was on the M14 board but not very active. I appreciated the support a lot and hope to do more this time.
H and I are both teachers and just started a very stressful back to school after closing on a new house and moving the first weekend of the year. This pregnancy was a surprise-ish but we were going to start trying next month so lovely, if early. But it has made moving and back to school extra challenging!
I love Disney (just got back from an amazing 5th anniversary trip to WDW when I got my bfp and planning a trip to DLR for Dapper Day in November), sewing costumes, reading, crafting and lots of other geeky fun.
Good luck to everyone!
My EDD is March 16th however because I will have a repeat c-section I will deliver around March 9th.
My husband and I were very excited and shocked to learn we were pregnant with this blessing. I currently have a 5 1/2 year old son and 3 1/2 year old daughter.
I am currently a R.N in Southern California and just started my Masters program in nursing education on July 1st-talk about timing
I look foward to getting to know all you ladies!
My names Brianna and my fiancé and I found out 4 weeks ago, now, that we are pregnant !! I am now 9 weeks and 1 day and should be due to pop at around march 23
I turned 40 this year and its my first pregnancy. I am extra excited about it but also holding a season pass to a whole amusement park full of emotional rollercoasters. Dad is also excited.
We are due the first week of March, again by LMP. Tomorrow is my dating scan. I live overseas and things move slower in some ways than back in the US, but I chose not to come back for delivery. I've met my OB and he seems nice and competent so far.
I am due March 28th. Since I am at the end of the month I get a little jealous of the people at the beginning of the month already experiencing different things. I was very impatient for my first u/s appointment last week!
We also have a 4 y/o (soon to be 5) daughter, who we haven't told yet but she will be extremely excited as she has been asking us for awhile when she will get to be a big sister.
I got my BFP on July 8th, and based on my LMP my due date was March 13th. However, after a couple of u/s they have pushed me back to March 23rd.
I had my first appointment pretty early (7/14) and my OB said he could sneak me in for a quick u/s for my piece of mind. Well, they couldn't find a baby, but they did find a cyst on my ovary, but they were having trouble determining if it was a cyst or actually the sac. So after bloodwork every 48 hours for about a week to monitor my hormones we did another u/s that did find the baby right where he/she should be, and measurements pushed my due date back to March 20th. My official dating u/s the beginning of the month pushed me back to the 23rd, and at my last appointment my OB took another quick peek and said based on the development so far, that date looked right.
My DH and I have will be married 4 years in September, and we have a DD that just turned 2 this past Saturday.
I had previously been mostly a lurker in August 2014, but under a different username, and this time around I am definitely looking forward to being a lot more active on here!
This will be baby #3 for me! DH and I have two wonderful daughters (4 and 2). DH and I are both 30. I work part time and am in the process of finishing my.real.estae license and DH is a career firefighter.
My first pregnancy was full of M/S and bed rest and ultimately induced at 34wk for critical blood pressures and pre-e. Second pregnancy was a completely different experience. Never sick, no BP issues and she came 3 days before her EDD.
I'm excited to be a part of a great group of women! My first u/s is tomorrow!!
Hello! I've been posting on the high-risk and PGAL boards although I have not officially introduced myself on here because I wasn't sure how long I would here. I've had two ultrasounds and tomorrow marks 10 weeks so I'm hoping I'll get to stay! I'm hoping for my first baby after learning in March that I have a uterine abnormality known as unicorn uterus! Due date is March 22nd, although it could be earlier becasueof my condition. Nice to meet everyone!

I have an EDD of March 29. I'm currently 10w1d. I have a DS who will be 2 in October, and prior to him I had two back-to-back miscarriages. That was a rough year for me. Pgal brain never really goes away, you know? Staying positive this time, though.
So what is going on with April 17? Why are there refugees? My lurking skills suck apparently.
Also, in reference to your question about April... I think our board structures are fundamentally different. There is a great deal of organization and discipline in the April board which some members have found difficult to adhere to. There were a couple threads in which PGAL mommas and multiple mommas being disciplined for posting threads because the topic didn't benefit the community as a whole. A blanket statement was issued that March 17 would welcome any April moms who might prefer a more lax structure.
