Love the idea, but I don't want to short change my buddy if I get busy getting ready for baby/work/final projects for grad school at the beginning of Dec. I'll probably end up updating my situation after baby arrives. Can't believe we are all at least half way there!!!
Sounds like a wonderful idea. But I agree with many posters and unfortunately I don't think I'd be able to give the support to a buddy the way they'd give it to me because I'd hopefully be one of the first to have my LO. Mainly because my DH and I have been working on limiting cell phone use already because I do not want our baby girl learning about phones early on. I've learned from my BIL and SIL mistakes and now our two neices (aged 3 years and 1.5 years) are addicted to them constantly needing music or shows on them. I wish this idea much luck tho and think it will work out well.
I think it's great in concept but it didn't really work out for many of us on my last BMB, maybe we just sucked at getting to know each other more individually. by the time i went into labor I couldn't remember who my labor buddy was and just posted the birth story after the fact. but i'm up for trying it again, this board seems much more outgoing so hopefully it will be different.
