Not going to lie, I just liked school in general. I guess I would have to say English was my favorite subject, with Math following in a close second (at least up until Pre-Calc). I also took Anatomy and Physiology my senior year of HS, and that may have been my favorite class.

@mrsdaddario Haha no I completely agree!  In the past, when I had a faint bfp, I got it early like 7 or 8 dpo.  That's the only reason I do them that early.  It's tempting.  But I know each cycle is different and that I should wait longer to poas so it's less time stressing.  It's more our bad timing this month that makes me lose some hope not necessarily the negative tests.   Still will keep my fx though for some good news and for all you guys!   :)

  • @mrsdaddario Not sure why the link didn't work, but here's a pic.  It just seems like my temps have been going up and down on their own little rollercoaster ride.  I haven't seen a big temp drop yet that would indicate AF is on her way so I'm thankful for that at least right now.

@lulu1180 - your chart looks a lot like mine usually does...mine is never "pretty". I think a lot of my ups and downs come from the fact that we live in a part of the country that doesn't really have AC, so we sleep with windows open 3/4 of the year and can't control bedroom temp. Are there any external factors that can be affecting yours?
@redpuma119 and @hartmich - have fun on your vacays! Hope they're somewhere fun. I'm going to see family in a few weeks...and I'm staying longer than DH, and am nervous about when my next FW will be and if we'll have difficulty.
@ahrains - FX for you! And good luck if you do go to the RE. Also, we lived very different lives, all the subjects you loved were the ones I couldn't stand! I took as few of them as I could to get by.

    Month/Cycle: 5/3

    CD/DPO: 25/10

    Timing: Alright.

Testing: I'm starting to think maybe Monday (DPO14) if I'm not seeing signs of AF, but I suspect she'll rear her ugly head.

    R/R: nope

    CS/Q: not as of now.

GTKY:  since it's back to school season, what was your favorite school subject?
Definitely Math, I liked science a lot too. History and English were the worst! DH and I have talked about it and someday when we do have kids, he will help with history/English because he is AMAZING at those but (love him dearly) but he does NOT get math or science. He has tried to argue about something mathematical and it just never ends well. Lol. Guess we're a good combo!

    Edit: because I can't morning.

  • @PepperAT I thought I was the only one that obsessed over my own chart and spent too much time looking at it over and over and over and over

@KhRun17 Thankfully we have central air and a ceiling fan, both of which are going at night.  I generally wear the same thing to bed and cover with a sheet and light quilt.  The only thing I can think of is that my sleep patterns haven't been great but at the same time I'm not sure how bad they've been since I refuse to look at the clock when I wake in the middle of the night

@Saralee797 Thanks for taking a look!  It makes me feel a little better that it's not bad (or at least as bad as I thought it might be...)

Testing: tested yesterday knowing I shouldn't.  BFN of course.  Trying to hold out until the weekend since AF is due on Saturday.

R/R: 99% sure this isn't the month and for the next 2 months H and I will be on opposite sides of the country for the majority of my fertile period.

    CS/Q:

GTKY:  since it's back to school season, what was your favorite school subject? Social studies and English.  Hated math with a passion.
  • @wabash15 Sorry to hear about the BFN  :/

@mrsdaddario Just wanted to tell you I think the outlook you're taking on this process is awesome.

@Saralee797 I have the opposite hair problem, and it gets flatter and flatter the more humid it gets.

Random question for all of you: I know most of the bump ladies are in the "drink til its pink" camp. But we are going to a large birthday celebration on Saturday where drinking will begin at 11am. I'm fine with a glass or two of wine, but I'm not trying to pound shots during the TWW. I will be pretending to participate but someone will likely notice. I just don't want to deal with the "OMG are you pregnant?" questions. Have any of you all dealt with this?

  •  @lulu1180 I subscribed to the VIP features again, so there is even more to obsess over now!! It is definitely an addiction and I just can't quit it.

@hartmich I am on team '  Drink til it's pink ', but everything in moderation for sure. Maybe you could just mention that you don't feel like drinking too much? I am not a huge drinker so people probably wouldn't question if I said that. Maybe there will be enough people that they won't notice or they will be drinking so much they won't care. haha Enjoy your couple glasses of wine!

  • @hartmich I am lucky / unlucky enough to have bad reflux, so my friends all know I rarely drink and often bloat...so it's easy for me to disguise. But it's also no secret we want kids soon. You can just say you're trying to lose weight or make yourself something that looks like a mixed drink!?
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

  • @hartmich I am well known for my love of red wine so it will probably be impossible for me to disguise. I did a diet earlier in the year with no sugar, alcohol etc. so I will probably try that as an excuse. I have also known people to fill bottles of beer with water. You could dump a beer in the bathroom and fill it with water?
  • I go here now :)

Sorry for all those BFNs today ladies.  Hope you all have some chocolate or wine or Netflix binge today.
@lulu1180 I feel like your chart looks like many I have seen before.  Since all the temps are well above cover line it seems very "normal" to me.
@krisnicole23 I don't know how you do all that early testing!  It just always prolongs my unhappiness, because obviously the BFN makes you sad, but you also have hope that it's just too early so every day turns into this crushing blow and then hope for the next day.  That's exhausting.  I think by my 3rd cycle I just started testing 12 dpo or later.

R/R: So happy to be on this side of the cycle.  Neither H nor I are usually up for sex every day so the past 4 days were pretty tiring.  Time for a break.

    CS/Q: All good today.

GTKY:  since it's back to school season, what was your favorite school subject? Well I am a HS Art teacher so it should come as no surprise that I always loved art class!  Although I also always loved history and English.
  • @Saralee797 you did read that right. I typed wrong. End of week. Morning. I don't know. Meant DPO, not cd. I edited. Thanks for catching me.

  • @Saralee797 Oh my gosh yes I'm using cheapies.  I only test this early if I have them.  There's no way I could afford that!
@antoto I try to be more on the optimistic side and just think ''it's still early''.  Especially if our timing was good (except not this month!).  I never start before 8 dpo and that's only if I have the sensitive cheapies.  If not, I test around af.   :)

R/R: I worked out yesterday! Then felt proud of myself for flushing my FMU today. Temps are staying steady with the exception of one drop. Doubt it means anything but time will tell.  Per my prior charts 12 dpo is when things start to go downhill with spotting, watery discharge and maybe a temp
    drop.

  • @lulu1180 your chart looks great to me!  Everything above cover line.  FX
@hartmich The night before both my sons' BFP, I was drrrrunk.  I took a test both mornings with FMU prior to drinking and then again before the two parties (one was a going away for my cousin leaving for a tour in Afghanistan and the other was my SILs wedding)  The next day I got my BFP.  I have done a bunch of "fake drinking" (filling up beer bottles with water, drink grape juice instead of wine, putting a straw in fau-vodka sodas... etc) too, to hide my pregnancy a bit longer and I have to say - I think I'm the only one that noticed.  By the time you "drink" a couple glasses, everyone else will be drinking too.  Chances are no one will really be looking at you. ;)  You can always use antibiotics as an excuse too if you really wanted!

  • @lulu1180 The temps are up and down, but I don't think the differences are too crazy. It's been really hot, that could cause temp differences. I wouldn't be too worried about it.

  • @hartmich; you could always just say it's too hot outside to drink a ton/that you want to pace yourself because of the heat. This way you can say, "I just had a wine. When I'm done with this water I'll have another wine." Plus (assuming you aren't 21 ;)) it's hard to drink all day and night now without pacing yourself lol
  • Glad I'm not alone with the BFN. Got one yesterday morning but I'm only 9dpo. Might try with an early response tomorrow morning at 10dpo. I started having some thick white cf today so hopefully that's a sign. I've made myself discouraged!!
  • Month/Cycle: 3/3

    CD/DPO: CD26, DPO10 (?)

    Timing: -5, -4, -3,+1

Testing: BFN yesterday so I'm holding out on more real tests but I'm trying out using my leftover OPKs as a HPT to keep distracted from FRER.  It 'looks' as though there is a faint line that has gotten darker in the 3 times I've tested.  Plan to do FRER on Saturday (DPO 12)

R/R: both a rant and a rave I guess: I'm on the home stretch of TWW so I'm obsessed, symptoms actually seem pretty real and not imagined. Boobs are sore and heavy, I've been majorly bloated to the point of uncomfortable, and I've been super dizzy for a couple days straight, and then adding in all the other little symptoms plus the OPK lines-I have a good feeling. Like I said yesterday, my hopes are way up and so I'm all in this month. Scared of the potential disappointment but the excitement keeps me positive.

CS/Q: any experiences with OPKs as pregnancy tests?

GTKY:  since it's back to school season, what was your favorite school subject? Math I guess-until I got to statistics. I was AWFUL at probability - maybe that's why I'm so optimistic this month : )
  • @JennyV56 Fx for you!!  I've started noticing small things; I keep trying to tell myself it's just AF on her way but I can't help but google things and see if they could possibly point to a BFP on the way.  So in other words, I'm driving myself crazy!!!
