Today I was trying to decide whether to go shopping or go to the library. The library was closed when I got there. I'm destined to shop.
That's the universe's way of telling you shopping is the right decision. Yesterday, I needed to go to the bank to get quarters so I could do laundry last night. I tried to go to the bank twice and it was closed both times cause it got robbed or something (just guessing based on the police cars out front). Universe said, no laundry for you tonight.
DS who's turning 2 on the first has taken to mocking me. The bathroom door was open after I puked this morning, and I suddenly hear him in there gagging. As I run in to check on him, I see him facing the toilet making the gagging noise. As I get closer to check his mouth, he grins and chuckles and then makes the noise again.
This little asshole is mocking my puking!!! He went from sweet concerned son who cried when I puked a month ago, to little smart ass who laughs at my pain. Hello terrible twos.

I'm hoping to find a combination of freezer to oven and crock pot meals because for the to-oven meals I can use the throw away pans and paper plates and not have any dishes to load that night and unload the next morning. The downfall is that they take up more freezer space and we only have a freezer on top combo unit. I think we're going to end up getting a standalone because we've talked about it for a while and this seems like a good reason to push us over the edge for it.
I know the dust has settled, I missed everything as per usual, BUT I know why today has been so fiery (don't worry, not hormones). Tomorrow is a full moon - a dispute moon, even! According to a book I found online called Moon Magic.

There's a big public meeting tonight (work related for me) at which proponents of a great open space land use policy for my state are going to face off against some Glenn Beck crazies who thinks its part of a UN plot to take over the country. So thrilled to be missing this one.

Do you guys eat those Hershey's chocolate pies from burger King? If so... did you know you can buy it in the grocery store!! A whole pie, they are sold in the freezer section under the name Edward's and they are the Hershey pie, they even have dark chocolate too. I love those things.

Dude. Seriously. My sister bought me two boxes of my FAVORITE donuts, that you can't get anywhere in OKC, that I only get like once a year (if I'm lucky and happen to travel to California to visit family). They are the best things on the planet. Hubby knows I have a lover affair with these donuts.... HE ATE LIKE 5 OF THEM YESTERDAY!!! I've only had 2! I about murdered me a husband last night.
I plan on doing lots of freezer meals, but I'm awful with a crockpot. Like normal cooking is fine but the minute I try to crockpot something I end up babysitting it in the kitchen, stroking the outsides and speaking in a soothing tone "there there, niiiiiice even heat." My crockpot meals never turn out.

And the caption saying "we're adding another pumpkin to our patch" I'm thinking it is corny because even typing that I'm kind of squirming with embarrassment.
