Specifically for RH neg moms: What did your docs do for mild spotting in regards to Rhogam shots? I had some super mild spotting at 6 weeks, got the shot. Since then, I've had two mild episodes of post-sex mild brown cm (11 weeks and about 14 weeks), and the first time, the nurse on call at the office said not to worry about it, it's not coming from my ute. Then the next time, the doctor said that from this point on, I'll probably need to get the shot after any signs of bleeding, just to be safe. I know I'll need one at 28 weeks for sure.

What has been your favorite diaper bag and which ones have you tried?
I've used the Skip Hop Studio Diaper Tote
and this 31 bag
I liked the Skip Hop pretty well but didn't really love either (at least not as a diaper bag). The Skip Hop didn't hold it's shape well enough so it was hard to dig through and the 31 bag was too open to roaming baby/toddler hands.
I'm really crushing on the Elizabeth Lily Jade bag right now:
but even used they are expensive. They seem to be going for $200+ used, but I legitimately think I would use it even after diapering, if not as a regular purse, then as a replacement for my laptop bag for work. DH is behind me getting it if it's what I want, but I'm going to wait until closer to when we need it before I pull the trigger (also, I'm hoping to find a good deal and to see if they're going to put out any new designs this fall).
@silvercamaro77 I had the Skip Hop duo and felt the same way about digging through. I couldn't see into it well and I ended up hating the outside look because it got dirty very easily. I really like the bag you're looking at now. Can you get your hands on it before you buy? The one I'm looking at is expensive too but can also be used as not a diaper bag. I really like it because it can be a backpack and a shoulder bag but I don't think I can see one in person before taking the plunge and it does look a bit small.
I've been eyeing up the Vera Bradley diaper bags lately... Anyone have any experience with theirs? I recently bought a couple of the weekender and grand traveller bags (one for my mom and one for me) and love them.

My MW had a 6 week rule. If I was spotting past 6 weeks since my last Rhogam I got stuck.

No- the Lily Jade's are only sold online and I don't know anyone that has one. I've joined a B/S/T facebook group for the brand and there's a lot of really positive feedback on them and this one in particular is one of the larger ones- I've seen several people suggest it for 2+ babies. It has rings to convert to cross-body and backpack too.
@homemake what is the one you posted? I like the way it looks as well, but am a little concerned about the depth.
@silvercamaro77 Its called Fawn design. It's a relatively small company I found through Instagram, I think they are currently out of stock because of the high demand but I have notifications set up for when they are back in. They are $145 I think? I think you can just google the name and it brings you to the website.
I love the backpack option. There were times in the beginning the bag was so heavy and my one shoulder would be killing me.
About diaper bags so I found one I completely love on Amazon and then last weekend we saw my SIL and nephew and I realized that her bag was the exact same one I fell in love with. Now I feel weird like maybe I should look for a different one... Or wait a few months and see if she's switched to a different one... I haven't bought it yet just saved it to my secret baby wish list. Am I overthinking this or would you find it weird if your SIL bought the same diaper bag that you already own?
Can you tell your SIL that that's the diaper bag you fell in love with and didn't realize she had it and then kind of read her reaction? I would think in most cases she wouldn't think it was weird unless you randomly showed up somewhere both wearing it without saying something before. @marriedhamstermom
i know the diaper bag I had (see above) was really popular and I saw people with it all the time.
I have a Kate Spade Stevie diaper bag. I absolutely love it. It was so roomy which was important since I cloth diapered, and those take up some room. I want a backpack one this time to rotate between. The Stevie one is still in good shape I haven't used it much but pulled it out a couple weeks ago to bring snacks and sweaters to the movies and I forgot how much I love that bag!
@homemake Ahhh, I've actually seen that brand talked about a little somewhere else, but I hadn't seen any pictures of them yet. I'll have to check them out.
@marriedhamstermom The next time you see her I would say something to the effect that the bag she has is the same one you've been eyeing and ask her opinion of it. That way you can get some real life insight of it's pros/cons and she won't be surprised if you show up with it later.
I've been eyeing up the Vera Bradley diaper bags lately... Anyone have any experience with theirs? I recently bought a couple of the weekender and grand traveller bags (one for my mom and one for me) and love them.
I have never used it, but SIL has used the Vera Bradley diaper bag for all three of her kids and loves it. My mom bought SIL hers, so she already bought one for me and has it stashed away.
@marriedhamstermom SIL and I are going to have the same diaper bag (in different patterns cause they no longer make her pattern, but still the same bag), I wouldn't sweat it. My SIL thinks it speaks highly of her taste and parenting skills when I ask her advice on stuff like that, so she'll probably see it as a compliment.
@marriedhamstermom While it's kind to think of her thpughts/feelings I would find it incredibly odd and childish if she actually cared that you had the same diaper bag or even though it was strange. If i had a bag I loved I would encourage others to use the same one. (Goes for pretty much anything) If a relative shows up with the same of anything I would probably think they had good taste. (Not that they "copied")

I think worrying about having the same diaper bag as your SIL is over thinking it. I had a couple different diaper bags but never really was happy with any of them. I ended up using a Coach tote I had and just rolled diapers and wipes in one of those portable changing pad things. I clipped a paci holder to the keychain ring inside.
@Starfish113 I got it a couple months after DD was born. I had a cheap bag and hated it. So I asked for this one for Christmas, well I ordered it and told H he could give it to me as a gift. I think it was like 40% off around Black Friday! It was like $225 maybe? Great deal!
I have a Petunia Picklebottom city carryall. Love it. Was expensive -- husband got ur for me the Xmas before my toddler was born. Still looks new (and we are rough). Will be using it again.
With DS I really wanted a Kate Spade Stevie, but was afraid it would be a little hard to dig through since it's shaped similarily to the Skip Hop I had. @SweetT did you have any trouble rummaging through or issues with things getting to the bottom and being hard to find?
I think I'm still leaning towards Lily Jade over Kate Spade because of the different carrying options. I remember it not taking much before the bag was heavy enough to make my arm tired and sore.
Anyone concerned about "too many" ultrasounds. Seems like I'm getting one every few weeks with the higher risk pregnancy. I'm not actually complaining, but is there any documented risk?
The only problem is I used a diaper bag for suuuuch a short time. Then I just kept spare clothes and stuff in my car and my regular (Kate) bag just had a diaper and some wipes in it.
@silvercamaro77 I never had an issue digging through it, but all I really kept in the big pocket was the cloth diapers. Everything else was in the side or interior pockets. I totally agree though diaper bags get HEAVY! my shoulder would be aching some days. That's why I want a backpack this time too!
Lol I'm sitting hear reading about Kate Spade and Vera Bradley diaper bags....ladies, I'm getting a Walmart diaper bag.
I got one for less than $100 and it was large, comfortable and lasted a long time. It wasn't from Walmart but it was not a fancy bag. I just would not spend that much on a diaper bag. (Even if I were super rich)
We were gifted a Kate Spade diaper bag when I had DS and I loved it. I'll be using it again and I found the inside was pretty roomy and the side pockets were sufficient enough to hold bottles, random things.
Question for moms with two or more: did you find that you needed a bigger bag to hold things for the older kiddos? When we go out now, we don't have to bring a bunch of stuff with us for him, just a few pull-ups, wipes, and his sippy cup. Maybe a book or toy if I know we're going someplace where we might have to wait and he'll get bored. But I'm not sure if that is enough to possibly need a bigger bag eventually.
@BumpasaurusRex how old is your LO? My DD is almost 4 and I haven't needed a diaper bag for her in a while. I'm sure when I'm carrying one again she'll throw some junk in there but since she's been potty trained I leave an extra outfit in the car for her and that's about it.

He just turned 3 and I've just been throwing his items in my big purse so we haven't used an actual diaper bag in awhile.
Good call though on the extra outfit. He's almost fully trained but I'll probably have to pack an extra outfit and underwear once he's 100%.
Sounds like I might be able to get away with the bag I already have.

@MLRocha I have a Vera Bradley diaper bag. I have one that converts from a messenger bag, to a shoulder bag, to a backpack. We like it - lots of inside pockets for organization and cleans easily.
One comment end I will make on diaper bags is make sure it fits under your stroller easily. My Vera diape bag fits great under our full size stroller but is a pain with our umbrella stroller, so now I use a spare 31 bag when we take the umbrella stroller out because it fits a lot better.
@BumpasaurusRex I didn't need a bigger bag. We had a 4 year age gap so the few times we needed anything it was at most like a juice box and a snack. I keep extra clothes in my car. This time around its a 5 year gap and for the most part my kids carry their own junk around. They have bags they picked out and the rule is if the bag is too heavy for them or something doesn't fit then they need to figure it out.

They have always been cautious with me and I've gotten it quite a few times for bleeding. But sometimes they will examine me and if they can tell the bleeding isn't coming from baby (i.e. Maybe from sensitive cervix) then they wouldn't give it to me.
Thanks guys! I won't worry too much about having the same diaper bag. It makes sense I honestly wouldn't care and it's a strange thing to care about. I think it was a good idea to ask her if she likes it though b/c then if there is a major flaw with it I know to look for a different one!

I didn't love my PPB. Like a black hole. I had to dig and dig.
I am kind of irritated that I am going to need a diaper bag again. I barely carry a purse anymore. I am kind of thinking on consideration will be if I can strap it on one of my older kids, lol.
