Re: TWW Wednesday
R/R: Third time was not a charm. I'm currently waiting for AF so I can move over to WTO. MH and I have an appointment with the doctor on Monday to re-evaluate where we are in treatment. My meds have been ordered to begin an injectable cycle. I almost keeled over when the pharmacy called and told me the clinic had ordered me 6 medicines. Gonal-f ALONE is $4,000+. Luckily my insurance covers most of the cost of the meds, or else we'd be SOL. Kind of nervous to start an injectable cycle. I didn't realize it's a very similar protocol, medicine wise, to IVF. But we're still sticking with IUI cycles. I guess we'll see how it goes.
I have two people I am extremely close too.
My first best friend I met in seventh grade. We've had our ups and downs but we're still extremely close. So we've known each other for 16 years.
My second best friend and I became very close when I was 18 and she was 17. So we've been close for ten years.
R/R: Just the BFN
College. Been bffs for 4 years and she is moving in with me and my husband this weekend! I'm so excited to be living in the same city again
R/R: I took the first progesterone suppository last night and slept like crap. Woke up every hour. Hope that's gonna be a thing.
ETA- I corrected all my CD dates in my CS/Q area.

R/R: really emotional today and yesterday, recognizing that there is a good chance that we will reach the 6 month mark without BFP. And that's okay and not abnormal, but just crazy and a reality check. I know I'm getting ahead of myself but that's an emotional TWW for ya! Damn you progesterone.

R/R: So DH suggested getting a second dog if we don't get a BFP before we start TTA in October for his sister's summer wedding. I was shocked because he even suggested another little dog like our Maltese. We watched the Great Sperm Race and it was really good. I think it made him a bit more realistic about having 1 more cycle before we need to TTA.
My childhood bff I met in Kindergarten and went to school with through 12th grade but we've drifted since college so we've been friends for 17 years. My college bff that I actually talk to all the time is one of my sorority sisters so we've been friends for a few years.

R/R: We are hosting card night tonight! And the cleaning lady comes today!! Perfect timing right? I really love throwing parties. My rant goes out to the colony of pimples on my face. A couple are those under the skin ones that hurt so bad. It's unusual for me to break out this badly.
Sorry for the book today guys
@mrsdaddario @sevenn - sorry for the BFNs
@saralee797 -I don't know if they check hormone levels, but I know that your first appointment isn't usually until about 8-10 weeks. Up until 12 weeks is the most likely time for a MC. So if you're concerned, if you get a BFP, I would mention the concern and ask if you can come in early specifically for hormone testing?

R/R: We lost my friends wife last night. I'm a mess. It's ridiculous. And I didn't test this morning so I can't even have wine to make me feel better. Where's the chocolate at?
The other one is H's younger brother. We met in high school. He's on the autism spectrum and everyone thought he was weird so they weren't nice to him. I was teaching his choir class one day and he looked so sad so I went up to him and was like "Hey, we're friends now. Let's go get lunch." The rest is history.

@Saralee797
(lurking from WTO) If you are worried, you can ask for a blood test to check your progesterone after a BFP. Never hurts to ask. If you are concerned about your progesterone generally, you can ask your doctor to test it post-ovulation whether you are pregnant or not. I'm hoping my endocrinologist will do this for me in two weeks when I have an appointment with her anyway because I am in the same boat.
Also, @KhRun17 that celebration sounds adorable and well deserved since you managed to stay friends so long!!
@Dilynne So sorry for your loss. Eat all the chocolate today!!
R/R: temp dropped today though stayed above coverline... it was enough to keep the BSC at bay and I didn't test this morning. By some miracle I seem to be getting things done at work in a timely manor today and even had a few minutes to sneak in a quick bump session!
@mrsdaddario I'm so sorry for the beta BFN. at least you have your plan rolling for next cycle. It is scary how much the meds cost! be good to yourself today. creepy internet hugs
@kcagle0528 sorry for the BFN
@sevenn sorry for the BFN, be good to yourself today.
@saralee057 I hope the party is a lot of fun tonight. they do not usually check hormone levels when they run a beta unless you have a history of problems.
@dilynne I am so sorry for your loss. your LP is getting pretty long, so maybe you'll have some good news to temper the bad. creepy internet hugs

R/R: this is my first month actually charting and these last few days before AF are so much harder than I thought they'd be! It seemed so easy to say I'd wait to test until AF is late but my brain goes off on its own with SS and rationalising doing a test early. I was sure AF was coming yesterday morning when I got cramps but never did so I got excited since that's usually when it starts. Now every time I go to the bathroom I hold my breathe-I think DH is watching me for reactions very closely too. Symptoms have all been similar to pms but more intense-especially very weepy and dizzy.
So-AF is due tomorrow. Friday will probably be my test day if I'm still in the running. All this SS and false AF is really getting my hopes up. It'll be a rough fall if this isn't the month.
Sorry for the long R/R. I'm still new at all this!

R/R: I seriously hate my body right now. For the first 3 months after I stopped bc my periods were every 29 days, which I was happy about because they were regular. Now my last period was 3 days early. I've been spotting pretty much every month starting about a week before my period is due. It usually lasts a few days. Well I've been spotting now for 6 days so far and my period isn't due for almost 2 weeks! WTF?
@sevenn @JennyV56 @lulu1180 Last cycle I got chocked up by two dragonflies mating in the air and wished it was that easy for people. Got a little teary eyed.

R/R:
I've done a crap job of temping this cycle. There were just too many morning where my mother would come wake me up when she was visiting or where my husband would wake up at 4am to go catch a flight or work and such. So it's hard to know what all the pre-O temps would have been under normal circumstances.
edit: typos.

@Megzb510 I continued to temp and use FF during my medicated cycle. I did an override and made O the day of the IUI. Temping is not reliable during a medicated cycle but I was too stressed to stop. Next medicated cycle, I will probably still continue to temp/track in FF.
