I'm back!!

Hi, everyone! I was here before and posted in June about my miscarriage. Apparently I'm not the smartest, most adult or the most in touch with my body because I'm still pregnant. It's a long story but I switched insurance when I got married and waited until it kicked in before going to the doctor. Honestly, I'm super embarrassed but now understand how people can not know they are pregnant.

    I'm facinated. So you bled but didn't go to a doctor and had just assumed? But everything's fine and they think it was just a mystery bleed?

    There was quite a bit of blood, cramping and other details I don't want to share. It seemed like a pretty classic miscarriage so I decided to wait until my new (and way better) insurance started. Now I feel like the biggest idiot in the world because it seems so obvious to go to the doctor and I would tell anyone in my position to get to a doctor.

    With my first, we got married, then I went to the Dr also. I had only taken an hpt and didn't have many symptoms. My mil didn't believe I was pregnant until I finally got in to see the Dr. It makes for a confusing time, but I'm so glad you didn't lose the baby and that all appears to be going well. Congratulations!! :)

    that's my exact understanding of the situation. it's definitely an odd one. 

    OP, did they ever tell you why they thought you had bled so much? I'd be so curious to find out.

    Did you have any symptoms the last 6 weeks or however long it's been since you thought you lost the baby? I'm trying to imagine how the conversation in the doctors office went! Either way, SUPER congrats and what a roller coaster ride!

    OP I am so happy for you that things worked and wish you a healthy and happy pregnancy moving forward out but I do share the questions asked by @BumpasarusRex and @concreteangell. It is a hard situation for me to wrap my mind around.

    That's exactly what happened. I didn't really have any pregnancy symptoms until the past week or so and I thought it was PMS.
    So far no one know where the bleeding came from. I have another appointment this week and I hope to get more answers.

    I am curious and might be TMI to share, since you didn't get confirmation that you in fact miscarried, did you at least take care of yourself with vitamins and avoiding things that you are supposed to while pregnant since you knew you were waiting to see the doctor after your new insurance kicked in?

    We have two sleeping beauties in heaven.
    Jack gained his wings on 09/02/2016. 
    Kali gained her wings on 07/28/2015.
    They will be forever missed. <3

    man I was just joking about the blow.. this is really none of our business.

    @bdesterhouse I'm sure that you didn't mean too, but man think of what an a-hole you would feel like if you stopped doing all the pregnancy things and lived like you weren't pregnant for two months.  I definitely wouldn't be talking on a public forum for other people to make me feel worse.
