Welcome to the community!
Some great tips for benefiting from this wonderful community:
- Read izza2's TTGP Guide (we're working on getting it pinned at the top of this board in place of the one that's pinned). It is full of really helpful TTC advice and knowledge.
- Participate! Join the WTO (Waiting to Ovulate) and TWW (Two Week Wait) threads. This is a great place to let everyone know where you are at in your cycle, rant and/or rave about anything (TTC-related or not), and have any questions answered.
Please introduce yourselves. Share as much or as little as you are comfortable with.

Ages (you and SO): I'm 30, DH is 31
Hi everyone! I have been lurking for a year now and have learned so much from this community- thank you! I work in Pediatrics and love it! My hobbies include running, reading, and cooking. I look forward to getting to know all of you!
Hello everyone! I was a member of this board when TTC back 2012-2014. I'm back again to brush up on all the info. It's crazy how much you forget when not TTC.
Ages: I am 28, DH just turned 30.
How many months TTC? We haven't officially started. I have the Mirena IUD and am scheduled to have it removed September 1st. ( Any info about what to expect in that regards would be great.
)
About me: I have a wonderful 2-year-old DD and two dogs. I work at a community college full time and love to exercise, binge watch Netflix, and cook/bake.
This community was amazing last go-around, and I'm excited to begin trying again. ( Although I'll admit a little anxious as well.)
Have a wonderful week!
Ages: Me 28, Husband 30
Months of TTC: Just this month! Got my Mirena IUD removed on 7/14, AF 2 weeks later, and here we are in month one. I decided not to use any OPKs or temp charting because I wanted to go with the flow for the first little while, so we'll see.
About me: dog-loving, vegetarian, fitness-fanatic who also loves to cook/eat/drink yummy things

About 6 years ago DH was diagnosed with Mosaic Klinefelters Syndrome and after undergoing TESE surgery he was diagnosed as infertile. About 2 years into failed fertility treatments using donor sperm and switching clinics, I was diagnosed with lean PCOS. I always knew something was off, but the doctors at the first clinic made me feel guilty for pushing them when they had "female factor" patients in the waiting room. It was completely demoralizing when cycle after cycle was canceled due to no dominant follicle/ovulation and I just kept being written off as someone who was "young, healthy and only here because of male factor". All in, it took just over 3 years of various fertility treatments until we had a successful pregnancy with our first child (DS). Over those 3 years, we attempted non-medicated IUI, medicated IUI (different medications/schedules attempted) and then finally IVF. Almost a year later, we were shocked to get pregnant on the first FET cycle and were blessed with a DD. We're picking up cycling for #3 now and will begin with another FET.

hi everyone!!
How old are you and SO - Hubby will be 33 this year and I am 32.
How many months have you been TTC? We started back in January not preventing. I haven't been on any sort of birth control but we did use condoms before to prevent. So this is cycle 9 for us. Hubby is loving it, I am confused but have been struggling with some health issues - I am Type 2 diabetic and have been having some sinus infections which have led to other TMI issues down in the nether regions. So, it has really stalled us up a bit from conceiving.
What are you doing to get KU? Well, just BDing around a typical ovulation time. My cycles vary, so I've been charting my periods as well as when we BD on an app on my phone. I haven't started charting ovulation but I have used some cheapie ovulation tests.
About me: We have 2 kiddos already - Hudson just started First Grade yesterday and loves it and Scarlett is my spunky sassy 3 year old! We have always wanted 4 kiddos, but I said that my stopping point is 35. I have 3 years left. I never had any issues getting pregnant with Hudson (2 months), and Scarlett was the first month we tried, so this journey for #3 has been very trying for myself. Hubby is loving it, but I think he is starting to see how hurt I get every month for my lovely aunt to show up. We live in a small town in the outskirts of Missouri. I own a small online boutique and also work full time. Hubby also works full time outside of the home.

How many months have you been TTC? This will be our first month TTC.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Just temping and charting for now. And doing it, obviously.
Tell us about yourself! We have one sixteen month old boy. I was on TB back in 2014 under a different name when I conceived my son. We live in DC so we go to a lot of museums and do a little amateur astronomy when we find the time. I don’t enjoy working out but I do it anyway. If you couldn’t tell, I’m obsessed with the musical Hamilton. If you are too, let’s be friends.
@ElizabethSchuyler I shall call you Eliza. I'm also obsessed with Hamilton. I haven't seen it on stage but I think I've watched every youtube video with scenes and obviously all the ham4ham videos. And I can't stop listening to the OBC recording. I walk around the house singing it and my husband is like ' are you singing about the american revolution again?' #sorrynotsorry

I started posting here back in May and June prior to getting a BFP and moving to March '17. Unfortunately we lost our baby this past Monday at almost 12 weeks.
I put the full story in my intro on the Miscarriage/Pregnancy Loss board, but shortened version is that I began last Sunday with light but consistent brown bleeding which continued throughout the day, and then woke up Monday morning with bright red bleeding and clots. I had blood work and both an abdominal and vaginal US done in the ER, which showed that I had already passed the baby. I already anticipated that because I had seen what I assumed was the baby after I passed it, and from its size the baby looked as though it had just stopped growing shortly after our appointment at 7 weeks.
So now I go here again. I'm still waiting for the bleeding to stop, but luckily it's subsiding and I seem to have passed everything. My OB told me that my cervix has closed and my uterus has shrunk, and that I just need to wait for my next period before we can try again.
I will probably lurk more than post right now, as I feel like I need to ease back into TTC. I'm excited to start trying again, but at the same time I feel very anxious and guilty about wanting to try again so soon, and I'm still so incredibly sad and angry about our loss. Right now, I'm just trying to take one day at a time, and take all the pleasure that I can out of my almost one year old son.
Thanks for listening, ladies. Hope to get to know you all!

Hello, I'm a long-time lurker. A group of lovely ladies who post on this board who have joined the TTC 35+ board have talked this place up, so while I've been posting in that board for a while now, I figured I'd come over where it's a little more active.
Ages (you and SO): I'm TTC #1. I'm 40 going on 41 years old. H is 39 almost 40.
How many months have you been TTC? We started trying 2 years ago when we got married, but I had terrible back pain and had to have some treatment for that, which required I not be pregnant. So many months of opportunity have been missed. On top of that, many months were sort of a joke at TTC, because H didn't seem to think we actually had to BD as much as we should have been. We've been truly TTC within FW for 6 months.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Went to RE in February, no obvious issues with either of us, using OPK, casually monitoring CM, this is my third cycle with clomid, BD every day of the FW.
Tell us about yourself! I have a cute 11 month old schnauzer/terrier mix named Cami (see avatar) and a 15 year old cat named Ally. I love to read, love to pin tons of recipes on Pinterest that I'll probably never make, and I'm trying my best to go back to yoga now that my back is better...just need to actually go.
My career field is in psychology/social work.

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? genetic testing, temping, OPKs, monitoring CM, lots of BDing!
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): SO and I love to travel, hike, and spend lots of time outdoors. We have two spoiled indoor cats and one adopted outdoor feral. I'm a biologist and love working with animals. I have a lot of anxiety about ttc, as I lost a daughter at one week old due to a genetic condition several years ago and more recently suffered a miscarriage. We did intensive genetic testing and counseling four months ago, all results came back good and docs gave us the green light to conceive. I'm learning to manage my emotions regarding ttc but it's a work in progress!
