Getting this going tonight instead of tomorrow because I'll be at my NT ultrasound bright and early! So of course now I can't sleep.

Who else is getting questioned, examined, poked or measured this week??

I have my NT scan tomorrow morning too!
Then I have my OB visit Tues morning.
Wednesday my floor measuring/quote/scheduling ( sorry I'm really excited haha)
We will be announcing mid next week if everything looks good tmrw.

I have to go in on Thursday for a blood test and to speak with the doctor. As time goes on I like this doctor less and less. Luckily my next appointment is with my own doctor.

Was supposed to go last week for my OB, but had to delay because I was on a week long business trip (hence my week long Bump absence.)

Going tomorrow afternoon though, hoping to hear the heart beat on the Doppler!!

We have calmed way down. Taco is doing great. Measuring a few days ahead at 13+3 (I'm 12+5 today) with the lowest possible risk for everything. The baby danced around a bunch for the camera, which was adorable. Thanks for indulging my crazy this morning, lovelies!!

I have an appointment this Wednesday. I'll be 16weeks. Anyone know if I'll be able to find out the sex? Or is it too early for that?

@joyful08 do you have an ultrasound scheduled? Usually the 16 week appointment doesn't correspond with an ultrasound.

MW Appointment Wednesday with the new mw on the team! Very excited to meet her. I mentioned this in my ticker change, I've been feeling pretty low lately about the baby. For some reason i feel like something is wrong. I can't wait to hear that heartbeat and have this feeling go away some.

@joyful08 - Mine does too. She has the machine right in office, and uses it to check the baby and hear the heartbeat at each check up. She prints a scan of the heartbeat for my office file every time, and I have gotten pictures too....I've gone at 8 weeks and 11 weeks, so I am hopeful that every appt is the same. She told me they might be able to predict the gender at my NT scan on Wed when I will be just about 13 weeks, but she can't confirm it herself until my appt next month, so you might be able to find out

@joyful08 @BlondePeanut my doctor's office has the ultrasound machines right in the office, too, but they only do the dating ultrasound and the anatomy scan (plus the NT if you opt for it). It's crazy that they give yall ultrasounds every time!

@BlondePeanut yeah my doctor is the same way. With all three of my pregnancies (2 m/c) I have had an ultrasound at every appointment. The machine is right in the exam room and the doctor does the ultrasound herself she doesn't "order" and ultrasound and have a tech do it. I am trying not to get my hopes up but I would love to find out the sex this week.

Ours does the 8 week and A/S, but I have to go elsewhere for the NT.

@NiceyMeany I know having one every appointment is definitely not the norm. My sister is pregnant and had only 2 ultrasounds her whole pregnancy. I've already had more than that. I definitely feel very lucky and it really helps my pgal brain to see the baby that often. Mad props to you all that only get to see the baby once or twice. I think I'd end up getting an elective one done just to see it more.

I know exactly what you mean. Everything was a okay at my last appointment, but I have this nagging feeling something is wrong. I go in tomorrow, so Fx for good news for both of us.

@Gingersnap - I have to go the hospital maternity dept for the NT scan and Anatomy Scan. My OB just has a small sonogram machine that also displays the heartbeat.
@joyful08 - My OB does it herself too, she just doesn't perform the NT or Anatomy scan in office, I have to go the the hospital for those
@NiceyMeany - Alot of ladies said the same thing. I'm not sure if it is just the way my OB operates, or if I was just lucky so far and once I get the NT scan, assuming it comes out good, maybe she will dwindle it down. I really don't know....FTM here so I have no idea what to expect with anything to be quite honest

Super jealous of everyone who gets an ultrasound every time! I had an ultrasound for both appointments thus far, but that is because it was the initial 8 week appt, then the first trimester scan. For the 16 weeks appt I won't have one and they said unless they see any problems, my last one will probably be the 20 week anatomy scan. Soooo for the 2nd half of my pregnancy there aren't any ultrasounds unless they have a concern. Cool...

This Saturday I'm paying for my husband and I to go to a sonogram center to get an ultrasound and find out the gender and just get some time to see baby. We will probably do this around 26-28 weeks too. I feel like because I'm 27, conceived naturally, and haven't had any complications thus far, my doctor just acts like I'm coming in for a well-woman regular check up and that nothing in my life has changed. Super frustrating...

@TeacherMom2517 my OB told me the exact same thing. We will likely do a boutique ultrasound later on in the pregnancy, too.

I'm in the same boat as a lot of you where I will only have my dating ultrasound and anatomy scan. She uses the Doppler each appointment but nothing is as good as seeing the little baby on the screen!

Is it expensive to do a private ultrasound? One later in my pregnancy may be nice but I'm also pretty cheap lol

We can get ultrasounds at those boutique places for as low as $40/50. We may do one at 15/16 to see what sex the baby is, because we are impatient haha.

I've got my 16 week OB appointment on Wednesday. Looking forward to hearing the heartbeat for the first time!! I get ultrasounds at 7 weeks and 20 weeks (I'm in Canada, so this is standard unless you are high risk or your doctor has an ultrasound machine). Harmony test came back low risk and baby girl (second baby and second girl - exactly what we were hoping for!)

I went to my NT ultrasound today at the hospital and measurements looked good! It was our first ultrasound (have been having appts with a midwife at a birthing center) and it was so amazing to see baby stretch and roll over. It made it feel soo real. I am all sentimental now

I was also offered the Panorama blood test (I am 35), so as a bonus we can find out the sex in 7-10 days!!

I have gotten more frequent ultrasounds because my doctor is an RE and it is par for the course. This baby was conceived without any intervention (my twins were IVF) but after multiple losses and just because us pregnant after infertility ladies seem to have more issues sometimes, I think he just has a more cautious protocol. I appreciate it.

Everything looks great! Low risk for everything, and baby went from measuring 3 days behind LMP at the 8 week scan to a day ahead! Woot woot!
