@BlueEyedDreamer . Glad you are back! I wanted to react to your message b/c I have definitely shared your feelings. I think we are conditioned to expect failure over time, so I think that it is 100% natural. I can't tell you how to do, but here are a few ways I have improved my mindset: 1) Circle and Bloom Daily Meditations 2) Gentle / Restorative Yoga, stress relief and improved my self esteem (just hated my body for so long) plus I felt amazing later 3) vacation or mini vacation if you can afford it to reconnect with nature and partner 4) Acupuncture . This has been a big help for me! (Massage is nice, too) 5) I found an infertility therapist...I am with Kate Ferguson and she does in person or over the phone. Huge. 6) Finding one or two IVF sisters to talk to on the phone who have had similar paths. 7) Do one thing for fun just to make you smile once a day or at least a few times /week
AFM This Weekend: Healing from the losses are extremely difficult, especially after many failures. All we can do is try our best to take care of ourselves physically, emotionally and Spiritually (if that is your thing). I was on a long, uphill hike to the top of a waterfall a few days ago. I stopped several times because it was so challenging and contemplated turning around. I'm not exactly in tip/top shape. Instead, I stopped, breathed in the air and took in the views. I walked through the pain and had little moments of joy along the way. I made it to the top. And guess what ? The view from the top was not "all that" ha!!! The better views were on my way up. The only difference b/w this and IF is I knew where the end was...I could feel it getting closer. We are all on a "hike" to the same "place" and even though we can't see the light at certain times, there sure are some pretty views on the way there, if I would only stop and look up.

@annebenton22 I too am loving the circle and bloom meditations and my acupuncture sessions. I feel really calm and at peace this time around! can I ask, with the yoga, do you go to a class or..? The hike sounds lovely, nothing like nature to recharge your batteries and improve your mindset!

Well ladies we can hold off on popping any virtual champagne for me ladies as I too am a BFN. I can only pray for the day when those 3 little heartbreaking letters will no longer have to come from my mouth No set plan yet, but we are talking about trying again right away. AF started this morning so if our talks go well today I will potentially start BCP today to get ready for a fresh cycle. None of our additional frosties survived the thaw for transfer . @BlueEyedDreamer and @wifeinraleigh28 after seeing 4 pregnancy announcement on FB writhin 24 hours, I also took a break. I've taken one in the past and it really helps. If/when I get a BFP I've also debated announcing it on FB. I think I will. I really want to share that joy. However, I plan on also sharing our IF journey at that point. I'm hoping my announcement can bring some awareness and understating to IF.

@teriulbricht yes, I normally find gentle/restorative classes that are not heated and don't do a lot of ab-work. I am starting with a private session for fertility yoga this week, so I will let you know how it goes. it has really helped me reconnect with my body/self-image in a positive way.

My nurse called... 11 embryos retrieved, all mature, 8 fertilized with ICSI. Set for s day 3 transfer on Wednesday for now. We will watch and see how they grow and then go from there!!! I know they have no correlation and it's stupid to compare, but I can't help but be nervous. I was hoping more fertilized this time so I felt like they were stronger or better or I don't know lol. i am happy to report that I also did a HPT this morning, 7dp5dt and got a BFP!!! It's a squinter and I'm in total shock. Praying it keeps getting darker. Told DH but not telling another soul until my beta on Wednesday.

@BornReady nothing other than my OCD and need to be in control of everything. Since beta is in 2 days I figured it should show at least something by now. I tested day of transfer to make sure my trigger was out of system and It was. I have zero symptoms and totally convinced myself it was going to be negative. I'm super happy but I won't completely believe it until beta!

@APM_SLP Congrats! Is there something to the trigger being out that is good or bad? I never heard of that! When people say to resist is it because it could be negative when you are really positive? Or the other way around? I feel like I could handle the good news if my test said no, but it was really yes, but not the other way around. Congrats to @ADRIANAC1982 TOO!

@bells52000 if the trigger is still in you system you could get a false positive. Because the trigger contains hcg a preg test would be positive if it's still in your system.

I am excited to read all of the BFP in this group and I hope that everyone who is struggling this month gets the clarity and comfort that they are needed.
I went in for my baseline ultrasound today and everything looked good. For some reason I had thought that I would have a longer wait to start the medications than I am. I start stemming on Friday. I feel a bit overwhelmed by everything. I don't know if this is because I thought it would be a week or two from now, or if it's the fact that we are doing IVF. Finding the funds for IVF has always been a fear of mine, so the fact that we paid all of the money today is a relief but it made it seem so real. Has anyone else felt overwhelmed when you first started this process?

Got my egg and embryo update! Of my 21 retrieved, 18 were mature. Of those 18 mature eggs, 13 fertilized normally, with the possibility of an extra 1 that still might pull through (come on little guy!) The other 4 fertilized abnormally.
So either 13 or 14! Come on embryos, keep going strong!

The view from the top was not "all that" ha!!! The better views were on my way up. The only difference b/w this and IF is I knew where the end was...I could feel it getting closer. We are all on a "hike" to the same "place" and even though we can't see the light at certain times, there sure are some pretty views on the way there, if I would only stop and look up.

I am excited to read all of the BFP in this group and I hope that everyone who is struggling this month gets the clarity and comfort that they are needed.
I went in for my baseline ultrasound today and everything looked good. For some reason I had thought that I would have a longer wait to start the medications than I am. I start stemming on Friday. I feel a bit overwhelmed by everything. I don't know if this is because I thought it would be a week or two from now, or if it's the fact that we are doing IVF. Finding the funds for IVF has always been a fear of mine, so the fact that we paid all of the money today is a relief but it made it seem so real.
